Wide spacious sites, hard surface roads and concrete pads. Strong wifi, cable and excellent roof top antenna reception. Very friendly staff at checkin. We hade made reservations with a confirmation numb so check in was easy at the Rv park. Shuttles to the casino with restaurants. We stayed one night on way east...spotless, very well maintained Rv park. I had asked for a end site and were given 88 wide, long and perfect. We camped at Coushatta Casino Resort Red Shoes RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sites were large pull thrus, didn't need to disconnect towed. Heated pool, tennis courts, basketball court, and playground at rv area were nice but we hopped on the free shuttle that picked us up at our site and rode over to the "Dream Pool" since we were given passes. The Dream Pool area had a splash pad area, beach style entry to the pool, 2 water slides, a lazy river, and a swim up bar, our family really loved it! We also used the free shuttle to head to the casino for food which we found to be just decent as the smoking inside was distracting for us. We camped at Coushatta Casino Resort Red Shoes RV Park in a Motorhome.

This RV (not a campground) should be an 8 or 9, but has too many flaws that lower the score. The sites are long, wide, cement, pull-through, FHU, not level, with poorly placed sewers. Most site are satellite friendly. There is decent cable TV with undependable Wi-Fi. There is a nice pool with a sprinkler area by the lodge, a large playground, and adjacent golf course. The 2 bath facilities (one at the lodge and one in the RV section) adequate unless the park is more than half full. There is a clean and reasonable laundry with about 8 machines. Other continuing problems are the recent (I used to pay about $50 for 5 days on "buy 3, get 2 free coupons") rise in the cost and the way management ignores safety (speeding golf carts and cars) issues. There is no recycling. We camped at Coushatta Casino Resort Red Shoes RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very nice park about 20 miles north of I-10. Lots of room and spacious sites. Nice place to stay even if you don't want to go to the casino. Front staff very nice, professional and welcoming. We went to the seafood buffet at the casino and loved it. We camped at Coushatta Casino Resort Red Shoes RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed with motorhome with tow; FHU; 30-50 amp; water; sewer; free cable; free wi-fi; cement pull-thrus and long enough to not unhook; asphalt interior roads; gambled enough to have our stay comped. We camped at Coushatta Casino Resort Red Shoes RV Park in a Motorhome.

The restrooms were in need of cleaning and over 1/2 of the shower curtains were missing, a lot of clutter was around the entrance to the men's shower entrance. Sites are good size and paved, utilities are located mid-pad. The lawn was well maintained. At $35 this is no longer the value of past years when we paid in the $15-$17 range (pay for two nights 3rd free). The clerk replied when we question the rate that it "now $65 a night on weekends and when the water park opens in May the rate is $65 every night". Not worth it in my book to give them $$$ in the casino. We camped at Coushatta Casino Resort Red Shoes RV Park in a Motorhome.

I'm a golfer so I thought I would give this place a try. I was pleasantly surprised by the wonderful RV park and facilities. Level sites with excellent hookups abound. The park is fairly large and the perimeter is lined by "Chalets" for non-RV'ers. Really nice dog park and a fishing lake to boot. Tennis Courts, play ground and other amenities are excellent. I didn't use the heated pool but it was warm to the touch and looked great. Office staff was professional and helpful. I asked for a particular site and there was no problem. They do tend to place people right next to each other even if the park is partially full, which is probably easier for them. The Golf course was great and uncrowded. The Casino was nice if you like to gamble. All staff I came in contact with were friendly and helpful. This is one of the nicest RV parks I've stayed in and I will be back. We camped at Coushatta Casino Resort Red Shoes RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We read many lower rates for this park on the web, but we landed there on their anniversary weekend so the rates were higher. The park is very clean, well laid out and has a nice pool and playground. All site are pull through with a concrete pad and patio, and a picnic table. Free shuttle service to the casino will pick you up at your site. There is not much else in the area except a golf course that is part of the resort, but if you like to visit casinos, this sure beats spending the night in the parking lot. Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

We have literally been here dozens of time totaling over 100 nights. This will almost be just a rehashing of my last (5/16) review. My 5/15 review gives a good description of the sites, facilities and amenities. I still say the sites are NOT level and the sewer is too far forward in the sites (exacerbating the sloping problem). We were here for 2 days because we called ahead and they gave each of us a free night. My value rating is based on the normal rate - OK on weekdays and expensive on weekends. The big problem on this visit was that the Wi-Fi was down. You could not get it at the RV sites but, they said, you might get it in the lodge. Since the lodge is a 4-8 minute walk from most sites, this situation is not acceptable. As I've said before, the facilities and amenities should make this at least a 8, but the management of the casino resort keeps making "customer unfriendly" decisions regarding the RV park. I saw no sign of any recycling. We camped at Coushatta Casino Resort Red Shoes RV Park in a Motorhome.

Wonderful RV Park located behind and left of the Casino. All sites are concrete with plenty of room for your RV plus toad. Full hookups at each site plus a street light for night vision. Office staff very easy to talk to and knowledgeable. Check-in is simple at the RV Lodge. Rates vary depending on the day of the week. We stayed for two nights on Tuesday and Wednesday so the rate was just $ 20/ night. We will return for another stay next year. We camped at Coushatta Casino Resort Red Shoes RV Park in a Motorhome.

We always make this an overnight stop when we head east. The park is clean and the staff is very friendly. Sites are level and all utilities always work well. We like a spot in the middle which is away from the lights of the tennis courts and not as traveled. We camped at Coushatta Casino Resort Red Shoes RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed at Coushatta Casino Resort RV Park for 2 nights to have a short getaway since it is not too far from our home town. This is an excellent park, whether or not you intend to gamble at the casino or not. Shuttles run from the RV park to the casino frequently throughout the day & night. Many people appeared to be here just to stay and use the facilities. They are ideal for families and many were here. Good for kids, including a mini-water park associated with one of the on-site hotels, but available to registered RV park guests. There are quite a few "chalets" (cabins) in the park for those not owning RV's. They appear to be nice. The service was efficient and friendly. The rate given above is the quoted rate for a site Sunday through Thursday. We camped at Coushatta Casino Resort Red Shoes RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed for seven days in July. The park is well kept with garbage cans on every street. It is a large park with pull thrus that can handle any size rv. There is shuttle service from rv park to casino and casino hotels. There is a new pool area with a lazy river that is great. This is an excellent park with concrete streets and concrete pads. We would recommend this as a overnight or vacation destination. We camped at Coushatta Casino Resort Red Shoes RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very large friendly park. The parks was 80% empty but they park all the RV that were their next to each other. Shuttle service to the Casino. Rained while we were there so we didn't use the pool or other facilities. Very large gas station by the Casino. About 20 miles off the interstate. The casino/Rv park is just off route 190 and about 20 miles from I-10. The RV Park has all paved roads and fairly level very long pull thru sites. The check in area is very big (the biggest we have ever seen). All big rig friendly. There is a gas station as you enter. The sites are full hookups with 50 amp electric, cable TV. Wifi, but don't know how good it worked. Very little shade. No privacy between sites. About 100 sites. There are about 50 chalet style cabins. Just think the more cabins the less RV sites, so I don't look at them as an asset. Great lighting at night. Pick up at your site to take you to the casino, just give them a call. There is a big pool and a big rec room. Enclosed trash container every couple of sites. Security patrols the park. Pet friendly. Small lake. Saw some people fishing. There is also a small water park at the hotel you can use. Nice buffet and restaurant in casino. Great friendly service from the check in to the shuttle drivers to the casino. It was a pleasure to stay here. We camped at Coushatta Casino Resort Red Shoes RV Park in a Motorhome.
