Gorgeous park surrounding a small catch-and-release lake. Beautifully landscaped and well maintained. We stayed here two nights on our way to Key West and just loved. It's just a mile south of I-12 so it's conveniently located and easy to access. Just an hour or so away from both New Orleans and Baton Rouge. Will definitely stay here again. We camped at Lakeside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Beautiful park with all the amenities except cable tv. But we were able to get local tv with the antenna. Concrete roads and pads. Big pull through sites! Easy on and off the freeway. Nice walking path along the lake. Would definitely stop here again if we were driving this stretch of the highway. We camped at Lakeside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Price was for a pull-thru for one night with Good Sam discount, but not waterfront. Very clean park with concrete pads that were almost level. We were treated very nicely, including being led to our site. We camped at Lakeside RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

The park is nice and kept clean. All of the sites and the road in the park is paved. The staff is friendly, and they escort you to your site. The person that showed us to our site guided us in and made sure that I knew where all the hookups were. All of the hookups were together and just about in the middle of the site. The trash is picked up from your site between 8 and 5, everyday, except Sunday. We used this as our base to see the New Orleans and Baton Rouge areas. We camped at Lakeside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Large lake. Paved roads and sites. Grass. They pick up your garbage anytime from 8-5. Wow! Path around the lake for walking or bike riding. During office hours they show you to your site and guide you in. Dinners on Monday nights. Our pull through was really long. In a pull through one does need to unhook toad (our Mh is 37 feet). We visited during the storm that went through Louisiana flooding many areas. This park, had no issues. We stayed for three days to visit rels. I gave it a 9 as it was not quite what we get for a more expensive park, but a really pretty place to stay. This park has its own perks. A really nice park. You can boat--no motors. Large fish caught in this lake. Would stay again in a heart beat. We camped at Lakeside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Small town close by. Baton Rouge, depending on where you are going in BR, is 40 minutes . About 56 miles to New Orleans.

We called ahead and arrived a couple of days early to avoid the storms and floods in Houston. The same rain eventually got to Livingston, but the concrete roads and pads always drained well. Of course the grassy areas were holding water, but remember, this was a 500 year flood. The lake and concrete walking trail was wonderful for walking the dogs between downpours.

Check in was a breeze, the clerk was doing something when I walked in. I discovered that she was registering me! What efficiency! Of course we were escorted to our site. Garbage pickup occurred at least once an hour at your site.

The pull-thru sites were some of the longest I've ever seen. Very nice for hooking up the towed on our morning of departure.

Kudos to the park and all the friendly staff! We camped at Lakeside RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a nice campground. They have some nice long pull thru sites that allow big rigs to stay hooked up.
They have 50 Amp FHU available. The park is very clean and tidy.
ATT & Verizon work well. Plenty of clear sky for satellite set up. Restrooms are clean.
No train or Hwy noise. Free WiFi works. Internal roads are paved and pads are concrete.
Sites are OK spacing. Will stay again. We camped at Lakeside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nicely laid out park, with easy access of I-12 east of Baton Rouge LA. The park was very clean and well maintained. The over the air TV signal strength was good as was the cable connection. All the services were within a reasonable distance from the paved parking pad. There were quite of few long term residents along the north and east sides of the lake. We camped at Lakeside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Fabulous park! Highly recommend! Level cement sites. Very well designed park for both pull-through and back-in's. Large spaces and wide streets. Design is good for 5th wheels, coaches, and trailers. Lovely lake/pond. Fabulous wifi (recently installed). Well maintained. We stopped for 1 night and stayed for 5... And would have like to stay longer. Absolutely would return if in the New Orleans/Baton Rough, LA area. We camped at Lakeside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Within driving distance from Baton Rouge (1/2 hour), New Orleans (1 hour, I think), plantations and swamp tours (1 hour).

We always stay at this park when in the Baton Rouge area. Since my review last year, I'm happy to report that everything is the same or better.
- The staff lives on site and is always friendly and prompt.
- They escort you to your site and direct you as you back in.
- All roads and sites are concrete and level. No boards or jack pads are needed.
- We think it's worth the few extra dollars to stay on the lake side. It really is nice and gets you a bit farther away from the traffic.
- The pool was re-done last year and is really great.
- The trash is picked up within minutes of setting it outside.
- The laundry room is clean and everything works well.
- We feel safe here and allow our kids to roam around. They have a very nice concrete walking path along the lake and a great camper's lounge. We camped at Lakeside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Everything you might need is within a half hour in Baton Rouge. Costco, Super Target, Sam's, Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, lots of dining options.

Nice level concrete pull thru and back in full h/up with fair WIFI. Open for satellite reception. Nice lake to walk around and right off I-12. Lots of permanents but they keep it very clean. Close neighbors and no tables or firerings. A little far away from Baton Rouge for the money. We camped at Lakeside RV Park in a Motorhome.

This site is about a mile off of I-12, and there is no highway noise. We used this site as a sort of mid-way for visiting Baton Rouge & New Orleans. The ever present friendly and helpful staff took us to our site, assisting with parking. The sites were concrete and level. The grounds were clean and well kept. The office staff was very helpful. WiFi, weak at best, and we used our Verizon air card. The only negative to the park is the sites are a little close for my taste, but there was sufficient room between the RV's. We will return here. We camped at Lakeside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

This park is fully paved roads and sites. The pull thrus are easy in and out. They keep the park clean and escort you to your site. We stayed here in January and were planning to stay again in March, but with the I-10 closing, we had to cancel with not much notice. They did a full refund which was very nice. We camped at Lakeside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

TJ Ribs in Baton Rouge, though not nearby, is well worth the drive for their baby back ribs and to see a Heisman Trophy close up.

The PA discount is what drew us to this park along with the very good reviews. PA rate is $21.65, but they are dropping PA after December 2015, reg. rate is $43.29 or $46.62 for a pull thru.they do offer good Sam discount

Reviews for the park are very good but, I'm not sure what all the hype is about! , spacing is very close approx 22' wide , sites are lined up like soldiers, the place reminds me of a mobile home park. All sites are concrete with patio. all roads are concrete, It does have well maintained 2 foot grass strips between sites. There is plenty of room behind your camper, with a fire ring.

WifFi is a very slow, we could not even get on line and measured usage. 750 mb for 48 hours!!

Our biggest complaint is the road noise starting at 6 am, the park is large but if you are a short term and do not want to spring for a pull-thru, you will be placed in an area close to the road, most of the park, 90% seems to be seasonal folks, they get all of the sites in the back of the park which I am sure are quite. The pull thru sites are located in the rear of the park, therefor would be quite.

There is a pool but it is not heated, no hot tub, a nice game room here for the kids, but not much else. I am not impressed with the park and would not be happy paying 50 bucks a night. If you are passing thru and need a place for a night, its safe, and close to the highway rt 10. If you are having a family get together and can get a few sites next to the road and can put up with the traffic noise, that may work for you. We camped at Lakeside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We were only here for 3 days, but there is a place across the street, Its a sports bar and has bands on weekends. Also If you are a jogger, the street is too busy to run on but there is a large new housing complex accross the street, you can easily get in 5 miles safely.
