This was our 2nd stay in this park, and we were here for a week and received the weekly rate. Sites and interior roads are concrete and level, park is clean. There are quite a few full time residents, but the park tries to keep residents on one side of the lake, and transients on the other side. Park is very busy on weekends. Employees are very friendly. We would stay here again. We camped at Lakeside RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

Stayed here for the first time last weekend and we can't wait to come back. Someone walked out and greeted us as we pulled up and after DW checked us in they escorted us to our site. I expected them to point and keep going once we got to the site but since we were in a back in on the lake they helped guide us into our spot. The park was exceptionally kept and had a nice playground for the kids. We also enjoyed the walking path around the lake. A small group was having a rally that weekend and invited the kids over for their easter egg hunt. The park is a must visit and the staff was really great. The front office store is nicely stocked also with supplies, groceries and even live worms if you want to fish in the lake. We camped at Lakeside RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

Very nice park. Pads concrete. Long and easy access pull-thrus. Grass areas. Nice concrete walking path around lake. We camped at Lakeside RV Park in a Motorhome.
Dons seafood 12 miles. Very good

A very nice park. Transients are put in the area closest to the road, which is very busy. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Everything worked fine, except the Wi-Fi was slow. If you plan to use satellite the trees may get in the way if you are next to the fence. We camped at Lakeside RV Park in a Travel Trailer.Undo

This is my second stay at this park. I rated it highly in 2008 and it is still a very nice park. The sites are spacious, on a concrete slab and very level. The utilities are good. The site we had offered a view of the lake. The only draw back to this park is that the only sites avaliable to the PA discount are back-ins, and butt up against the highway outside the park. I will stay in this park again if I am in the area. We camped at Lakeside RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

Loved this park, wish we could have stayed longer. Very clean, good water pressure, easy to get into. It was very nice. It is probably the best park we have ever stayed in and would definitely stay here again. We camped at Lakeside RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

This is a Good Sam rate. They do advertise PA, but it's only available for back-in sites, and I opted for a pull thru. Pull thru site was concrete. The park is quite picturesque and it looks like there are a lot of full timers. The restrooms, showers, and pool are very clean, but quite a ways away from where I was parked. I think the overnight back-in sites were closer to them, but also closer to the road. Although it's very well kept, I think the rate was high, especially since there was no cable. WiFi worked fine. I would stay there again, but probably opt for a back-in if overnighting. People at the office were very nice. We camped at Lakeside RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

Nice overnight stop 1 mile off I-2. Cement wide roads and sites. Grass between sites. Rate was Passport America back-in site. 50A power was good, didn't use water or sewer. Pool was very nice. Didn't use CG WiFi, used Verizon cell & hotspot which worked well. Site backed up to trees but rooftop dish worked OK. Road behind our site was busy. Staff friendly. Passport America rate. Very nice; paved roads and sites. We had a back-in site in the over-nighters area. Wide sites. Good cable and Wi-Fi. Nice staff. Beautiful lake. Would definitely stay here again for overnight. We camped at Lakeside RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $38.00
Nightly / weekly sites are all located near the road with much noise. No power or water problems. Minimal shade. Paved roads and wide, level concrete sites. Escort to site with assistance backing in, a nice touch. Trash pickup all day at site. Friendly, helpful staff. Might use again for an overnight. We camped at Lakeside RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

One of the nicest we've used. They accept passport, but not Friday and Saturday which are days we stayed. Rate does include Good Sam discount. Meticulously clean! Great BBQ restaurant 2 miles north. We would stay here again. We camped at Lakeside RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $35.00
This park is basically very nice, but has the disadvantage of a very busy road on the west side. We averaged the rating because transients, such as we were on the west side, where the park is very noisy all night rated 4. The rest of the facility and the east side would be rated a 9, since it is clean and lots of family activities. Pads were wide concrete, with new picnic tables. TV and cell functioned well. There are even swans on the lake, and a bar & grill across that busy road. We camped at Lakeside RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

Stopped in on a Thursday night and got the Passport America rate. The rate is not available on Friday or Saturday and only for back-in sites. Very nice place. We camped at Lakeside RV Park in a Travel Trailer.Undo

Except for the previously mentioned road noise if parked near the road, this is just about the perfect park. Staff are great, sites wide, clean, and well kept. Wi-Fi works, but difficult to get hook-up the first time. Note: If you want to work two computers, ask for additional login sheet. We were here to get our coach repaired, and the staff did everything they could to accommodate us. The place stays "full." Road noise is a problem, as mentioned before. Don't expect much from the town, which is about five miles away, it is tiny, but there is Hammond some 17 miles east, and a WalMart 10 miles west off exit 15. MAKE sure you have reservations prior to arrival, as the park stays full. We camped at Lakeside RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

This is a very nice campground. Sites are level and on cement pads. There's a lake for fishing and boating that has two swans, one black and one white. Nice clubhouse with book exchange and large TV. There is a fenced-in dog park so your four-legged friend can play off-leash. We liked this campground. After partying during Mardi Gras in Lafayette, this was a nice quiet place to recuperate. We may return to this park and stay longer. We camped at Lakeside RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo
