Very laid back, quiet park. The owner does not stay on part but responds well if needed. I would have given a better rating but the road getting into the the park could be intimidating to inexperienced drivers. We camped at Magnolia Hill RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

There are 2 campgrounds in the area, one is right off of Rt 49 and Magnolia Hill is 2 miles down the road. We choose this one to avoid the hwy noise and it didn't disappoint. The road is gravel, tight and windy and perhaps not the best road for big rig drivers without a lot of experience. But it is doable. The camp site is perched atop a mountain and very peaceful. There were only a few people there and I assume they were living there. The owner was friendly, it was an easy in and out for a quick visit. The nearby town is Natchitoches, the oldest town in LA. Very quaint, worth the visit. We camped at Magnolia Hill RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a very small no-frills RV park about 1.5 miles from I-49 and about 20 minutes from downtown Natchitoches. The park is clean, the bathrooms are new and immaculate, and the Wi-Fi access was excellent. On the down side, you have to drive up a gravel road to get there, some of the spots were not level (ours was fine), and some of the trailers seemed pretty permanent. We stayed for 3 nights. Bottom line - It's a great location if you're visiting Natchitoches. We camped at Magnolia Hill RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very shaded sites with plenty space in between each site. The owner does not live on site, but was on site when we arrived and greeted us and offered any assistance we might need. He visited each day and made a point to stop by and make sure everything was good and reminded us to call him if any concerns arose. The RV park is conveniently located off of the highway and is located a short distance up a well maintained gravel road. We did not use the laundry or bathroom and shower facilities, so I cannot comment on them. But I can say the RV Park was kept clean, the water pressure was good, the electric supply was well maintained, and the sewer connection was designed to provide efficient use. We looked at the other options in the area and consider this RV park to have satisfied our needs the best. We camped at Magnolia Hill RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
