We were a little concerned about this park at first because we know New Orleans. However once getting there and seeing it we were very surprised at its neatness and the fact that we felt very safe. It is within walking distance from the French quarter (probably about a 15 minute walk) and we had no problems getting where we needed to go. The sites were large. The park was quiet except for the sirens on the road above us. However it did not stop us from having a good night sleep. When we go to Mardi Gras we will more than likely stay here. We camped at French Quarter RV Resort in a Motorhome.

The reason to stay here given high price is convenience to French Quarter. You can walk but a bit far(and not recommended at night) so we drove the short distance each trip and found parking on streets or in lots by the river. Immediate area around park has homeless camp a few blocks away and graveyard next door but at least the slums have been torn down. Security is good in park - wall with spikes, security gate and guard at night. Inside the park is clean and lots reasonable size but no tables, trees or shrubs on regular sites. WiFi was good. Street and site paving is attractive. The elevated I-10 freeway next to park is very noisy outside but not noticeable inside RV. There is a small pool and clubhouse. We camped at French Quarter RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Walking distance to the French Quarter, nice pool and patio area, clean and neat paver back in site with convenient utility hook ups gated and secure in a very urban location everything you need and want to enjoy New Orleans but the rate still takes your breath for a moment. Considering traffic and limited parking it makes a perfect place to enjoy the Quarter and all that NOLA has to offer We camped at French Quarter RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Great location but not worth the ridiculous price. The park is an oval of back-in sites that are paved and plenty long enough for a large RV and a spot for the tow vehicle. The park has the standard laundry, bathroom and shower. The wi-fi was nonexistent. The office staff was cold and not very helpful. The area is a bit sketchy during the day and just plain dangerous at night. You will be taking a cab due to not being able to walk back from the quarter after dark so you might as well stay a bit further out. Given the price, we expected more and will not stay here again when we return to New Orleans. We camped at French Quarter RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stay here every time we stop in NOLA. The location is excellent for walking and biking into the quarter and town, as well as riding the Lafitte bike trail to City Park. Yes, you hear sirens all day and night but this small inconvenience, outweighs the convenience of the location of this well managed, clean, easy to maneuver park, run by friendly staff. My only criticism is that for the price they charge, they should have an outstanding WiFi system. We stayed in premium sites right outside the office building and were never able to connect. We camped at French Quarter RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This park is all about location, several blocks from the French Quarter making it an easy walk or bike ride. However you cannot walk back at night (the park even advises against it) due to security - take a cab, Uber or Lyft back. The park itself is fine but not outstanding. The sites are long, wide and reasonably spaced. The roadway is wide and easy to navigate. There is a bit grass for each site and a couple of small common areas of grass but no dog park and a scarcity of trees and fire plugs. A big disappointment is that WiFi is in common areas only - crazy for such a small park. The laundry is good and clean with 3W and 3D. The bathrooms and showers are OK but could be nicer and certainly could be cleaner. The grounds are very clean with curbside trash collection throughout the day. The pool is cold (Feb.) but the hot tub was hot although it had mediocre jets. Security is good: it is fully walled and the front entrance is gated with a code. You are basically parked in a walled compound within the city. Hookups are good including cable but the sewer in our site was far away and required pulling up before leaving. All sites are back-in with ample room for parking a car/truck. Police, fire and ambulance sirens run nearly continuously throughout the night and day as does I20 - bring ear plugs! There is a nice fitness center. The staff is very friendly and most helpful. We would recommend this park for visiting the FQ but don't expect a luxury resort. You are paying mainly for the location and security. We camped at French Quarter RV Resort in a Motorhome.

It appears there is new construction just outside the gate, new homes or apartments. Very clean, great location!!! Lots were close to each other, some offered shade. Site surface was pavers and featured a patio. I cannot wait to return!!

I love New Orleans. I would definitely stay here every time I'm in town! We camped at French Quarter RV Resort in a Motorhome.

An excellent place to stay near the French quarter. Easy bike ride to all the action. Very clean, new park. Best showers ever and lovely courtyard with a pool and hot tub. Annoying that the wifi doesn't reach the campsites, especially with the high price. . Although we understand not having campfire pits, Would be nice to have a picnic table at the sites. Decided with our dog that it was important to be close to the French quarter so we didn't have to leave him for too long. We camped at French Quarter RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

We have stayed here many times and will go back again. Excellent urban park. All concrete. Nice but small pool and outdoor area. Actual sites do not have picnic tables but there is a very spacious paved area to park your vehicle. Super convenient to walk to the French Quarter and super convenient to drive to other attractions. Uber works well too. Our only complaint which probably applies to 65% of our park visits is the iffy WiFi. We used our AT&T service for everything. In my opinion this park is way overpriced. It's nothing but a nice parking lot with RV hookups near the French Quarter. All sites are back-in. The utilities are well placed and work well. Channels on the cable are grainy. It is unbelievable that for the price they are charging that they don't provide wifi at the sites. The area seems safe in daylight, but I wouldn't walk to or from the park at night. I can't imagine staying here again. We camped at French Quarter RV Resort in a Motorhome.

First, let me preface that we've had people tell us this park is similar to LVM (in Vegas) and Tiger Run (in Breckenridge). Perhaps why we were so disappointed because it's nothing like these resorts. This "resort" means "a flat, clean place in the middle of the city to park". It was covered in razor wire on the 8 foot fence, something we're told is fairly new (it is not for birds, as there is a park with a fence across the street and no such wire existed, nor were there bird problems there). If you go there for the location, they warn you not to walk anywhere past dusk (which kind of takes away from the location convenience). They had some gate issues so even with the wire, the gate was wide open for two of the days for the majority of the day. The staff in the office were the best part of this part. They were very attentive and friendly. The security at night was laughable. People were partying in the hot tub until 2:30 am and security did nothing until prompting (and after either a shift change or something). In reporting the problems the next day, the office staff indicated that they were having problems with the security company. The noise of traffic, air traffic, music, etc weren't a problem but these people were atrocious (they were guests and apparently they were looking at security footage to kick them out of the park, not sure if that happened). Inside, don't expect a resort. Expect a parking lot. A nice parking lot, but a parking lot. Our spot, #37, was extremely rare as it actually had bushes on it, giving us some privacy (although because of the location there was pool noise). No other site provided this. They have gazebos on some lots. I would not want to stay with the rig backing up to the fence, particularly nearest to Claiborne Street. When working, the gate access isn't available from your car so you need to get out, enter the code, run back to your car and drive in. This is not a resort but a safe parking spot in the middle of the city. We camped at French Quarter RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Nice gated park in the heart of New Orleans. Easy walk to Bourbon St, Canal St, bus/trolley stops. But we ubered back after dark. Laundry room was reasonable. Pool area very nice. Wifi worked best in the office area. Cable worked well. Friendly helpful staff. You have to expect traffic noise. It is in the city. There is a park right across the street if you have a dog. Some sites have their own gazebo. Price is high. $100 normally and goes up to 150 per night when the Saints are home. But that's still less than a hotel room. Well if you want to be in downtown New Orleans this is the place. I will caution you, not in the best area of town. Right out the front gate to the left less than a mile is a HOMELESS encampment. Right out the front gate abandon building we saw strange homeless people hanging around. The site is really nice, but its not worth $100 a night, we stayed because of the distance to downtown. Only 5 blocks from Bourbon St. Checking in was awkward, the receptionist was like if you want down town its 5 blocks but if you stay after dark take a cab back because its not a good area to walk back through. SCARY.... Wife was a little wigged out about the location and homeless and the uneasy feeling. The sites are nice and level, power is good really had no issues with the park. Getting into the park if you use a GPS be cautious if you come off the I-10 going west, it will dump you off and your GPS will take you behind the park, and you have to go around the block, if you have a large motor home its challenging going down St.Louis Street.. Hopefully no tour bus comes at you.. Someone will have to give! However this RV park is not work $100 and is not a 10 rating.. We camped at French Quarter RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Great location. Walking distance to French Quarter. Our site, #28, backed up to some kind of factory and was very loud at night with trucks and buses coming and going. All. Night. Long. My sister was on the other side, site #6, and it was quiet over there. Very secure RV park with very friendly staff. We camped at French Quarter RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
