This is a parish park, with lots of shade trees, playgrounds for the kids and paved sites on the lake. There is a nice boat launch with plentiful parking. They also have a "beach" area with parking. Some of the bath houses were in better shape than others (mosquito control was a big issue). There were no sewer hookups, no Wi-Fi and cell coverage is spotty at best. We stayed from a Sunday thru a Saturday. I would recommend a weekday stay. Once the early holiday weekend started, the golf carts started cruising with their stereos wide open. There were also many campers with their sound systems turned up. This usually ended by 10 pm each night. Since this is a parish park there is no one on site after 5 p.m. so there was no way to regulate the noise unless you called the Sheriff's Office. We rode our bikes a lot but had to be very cautious once all the golf carts came in because they were not watching out or slowing down for pedestrians and cyclists. We would stay here again but would do so on a weekday in order to cut down on all the noise. - hannah-taylor

Nice place to stay with beautiful trees covering sites. The old section A is the nicest with lake views. Police used to patrol a lot to keep things quiet. Lately golf carts have been allowed and less patrolling by police and it gets out of hand. Police had to be called out all three days to quiet the drunks driving carts with trailers and loud music, well into the middle of the night. Very irritating. If things do not change we do not recommend unless you go during the weekday it is quiet then. - Thib

We loved our stay here. We went along with a few friends and had a great time. At the time the park was almost completely empty, so we were able to choose the perfect spots we wanted, which were right on the lake. There are tons of shade trees, swings for the kids, a laundromat and showers, which were very clean. There are also cabins for rent, and some good fishing, too! The Staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming, which is very important, in our opinion. The only downside to this park is the fact that there were no sewer hookups, and we had to use the dump station, but that really wasn't a biggie. Otherwise, we would have given this park a perfect rating. We will definitely visit this park again. - heavenslilgift

Nice campground next to casino about 20 miles north of 1-10 near Lake Charles. There is a shuttle to/from casino. Roads and site pad are paved. Pull thru sites are close together with a picnic table, grass and some have small trees. Wifi is good. Roads in campground are wide and easy to maneuver around. - Tom Willing
Oct 2018 - $30.00
As usual we had a long, pull through, FHU site with a cement pad and patio with a table. Unfortunately it was not level and the utilities were not well placed for our Class C. There is cable TV and I believe all sites are satellite friendly. We were here for just Friday night, but the park was only half full, so the Wi-Fi worked OK and I did not notice the usual weekend rowdy behavior that management does nothing to thwart. The recreational facilities, bathroom, and laundry are good. Typical of the area, there is no recycling. - Jerry S

Loved this park. We've been here 2-3 times and they were Never crowded. the DW likes going to the casino, so she has a membership card, I think that's why we got a good rate, even before using our discount, LOL. But we also have AAA, Good Sam and my military Discount (you can only use one) which KOA does not Honor. Everything was clean, pristine and quiet. We loved the swimming pool and my 16 yr old loved the basketball court and the aforementioned swimming pool. We will definitely make this one of our GO TO campgrounds. Every time we travel east we will be sure to stop there.
Whether you like gambling at the Casino or not, this is a top notch Must-visit Camp ground. You can only stay 2 weeks at a time. CG occupants can use all the Casino property facilities even the Huge Water park with Lazy river and 2 big water slides across the property. They provide shuttle service to every corner of the property. - Spacetraveler

The park is showing it's age. The pads in loop A in south loop where we stayed many were very unlevel with quite a few that I would not attempt to park my RV there. There was no cell service and WiFi did not hookup even tho we were parked next to a repeater. Roads in the campground are narrow and parking is very limited on busy days. I suggest riding thru the park before going camping there to pick a site that's comfortable for you. - malojeer

The park was back in the woods and the bugs were bad but it was nice and quiet. No place to swim or get out of the heat. - KHSH
Mar 2018 - $17.00
Older park, showing its age. In the trees. Bathroom were fine but, again, showing their age. Good hot water. Lots of available sites both times we've been here. Our 25' cord couldn't reach the power hookup but we just moved one site over and it was fine. We like this park. - WillieRob
Nov 2018 - $35.00
Very old park. Pot holes all over. Not much money being put into park for upkeep. Will not be staying there again. - Delhomme Theresa
Jan 2018 - $35.00
We stayed here since we had a family function nearby. Because it was a quiet weekend for the park (i.e. no bands or other events) we were allowed to stay just one night. Staff was great when I called to make the reservations. No online booking here but a quick email or phone call make it very easy to book. Our spot (252) was level and easy to pull into. It was raining so we don't know about shade. - cjnexp
Jul 2016 - $38.00
We stayed here for 3 nights. We where told our spots where shady. We were in direct sun light all day. Very little shade here. The beach was nice and music good.
Little bit of a partying place, if you like that scene, lot of golf carts riding all day. Kids where having a great time here. At quiet time I was impressed that everything did get silent. Not a very big campground. - lovegun
Sep 2018 - $28.00
Stayed for a weekend two hours from home. Beautiful, clean campground. Can now make reservations online. Sites are concrete slabs with blacktop roads. Has two dump stations which are difficult to get into (come at them from the wrong direction). Quiet and peaceful. Will definitely make this a destination again. Popular sites next to lake go quickly so reserve early. - C&C Maxson
May 2018 - $22.00
We love Indian Creek and have been camping here for years. We love the spacious spots and all the trees. A beautiful lake is in view of most spots. Quiet most of the time (weekends get busy with the lake activities). The staff is awesome and very helpful. The park is patrolled by local law enforcement and park staff are always making rounds. There is a beach area and hiking trails. A small town close by with a grocery store and Dollar store for items you need. A city (Alexandria) about 30 minutes away. Keep in mind pull-thrus here are divided into two sites. So, one half may be in use and making it difficult to get into your site (you may have to back in). - rbhaaland
May 2018 - $26.00
Beautiful clean well kept up. Electricity and water at all sites which are concrete. Lake fishing, beaches to swim, nice playgrounds for the kids. Too much to add here, please check out their web site. Full stay must be paid upon your reservation. - Curney- Vicky Derouen

Fullerton Lake Campground is about 18 miles from Leesville. The sites are spacious and easily accommodated our 39' RV. There is a small lake directly beside the campground and there were several fisherman present. This is a secluded campground, typical NFS. It was a bit far from Leesville. - CharlieS
