Check in was very easy and fast. Staff very pleasant. Gave us the location we requested. Very clean and well maintained park. Restrooms and showers we very clean. Electric and water was excellent. Wifi worked very well. Park wasn't too busy so rvs were spaced out so there was lots of space around our trailer. Lots of shade and concrete sites were nice and level. - Rkserv
Aug 2017 - $40.00
From check in to check out we were blessed to stay in this beautiful campground. The staff were ultra friendly and eased our burden as we were in the Lafayette area for a funeral. We were in site 151 which easily accommodated our 24 foot motorhome and gave us perfect reception for our satellite dish. We weren't towing a car, though a car would have easily fit on this site along with our motorhome. Site offers some shade. We hope to one day return to the campground to have a family reunion. - LJSimp
Jun 2017 - $50.00
Lots of families and kids (noise and music) this time of year. We were given a place sorta away from that. KOA rates are usually high and this one is no different, especially for rigs passing through and not needing all the amenities. We did get a KOA member 10% discount (we think) for a place away from the big pond ($45). We were told that the back ins by the pond were even more expensive. Easy access off of I-10 at Exit 97. - Livermorered

Greeted with cookies for both humans and puppies. Right off I-10 and next to a truck stop and hotel, but very little noise. Staff was very friendly and the manager is on his golf cart 7 days a week and willing to help with anything. Trash picked up from your site every day. 80% permanent residents with the rest being overnighters. 50% off for Escapee members. Sites are packed gravel and very level. Price included tax at the weekly rate. Roads were a little narrow. Would stay there again if passing through. - 1Delikateflower
Apr 2018 - $35.00
This is our second time to stay at this rv campground. This trip we were on our way to Florida and also have return reservations. The park is small which we like. The staff is very friendly and helpful. - PaulGlenn
Mar 2018 - $20.00
Very friendly office staff, cookies for humans and dog biscuits for our dog. Escort to our site; he was very friendly as well. Sites are gravel and level; paved interior roads. We've stayed here a few times before while heading east. Very convenient, off of I-10. Some truck noise, but that's to be expected. Cable, TengoInternet wifi which works quite well; fast. This park is great for an overnight. - oldbluejay

Feb 2018 - $25.00
The weather was rainy and the campground was wet and muddy, with signs warning of potential flash flood danger. Shaded, paved, fairly wide, W/E sites were relatively level, but our electricity didn't work correctly. Fortunately, the box for the adjacent empty site was near enough that we switched to it and then the power worked fine. Many of the sites had "reserved" signs on the posts, but no one showed up to use them during the night. So, we suspected that many other sites may also have had unrepaired electrical hookups. The dump was conveniently located at the campground exit. - fanrgs
Feb 2018 - $25.00
Very pleasant, forested area, quiet. Some sites are short and uneven appearing. Ours was. We were in site 11, which was right by a bright spot light. You may drive around and choose your site. Most of the hookups are two to a pole so you might be on the far side to hook up. Good for overnight. Without a water filter the water appeared unpotable. $25. - jhwms

Jan 2018 - $40.00
The roads getting in to this place are horrible. The staff at sign in were amazing and seemed to love this area. Gravel roads were easy to navigate but not wide enough for us to turn into our site without killing grass. The gravel pad was barely wide enough for our rig. It had been raining a lot prior to our arrival so there was standing water everywhere. Utilities work good, good water pressure, good at&t and verizon signal, wifi poor. They may feel that they are big rig friendly but I would not agree. This is not a resort either. Very quiet at night. They also have a huge field where they allow off leash activities with your furry kids. - Ghettomedic
Jan 2018 - $43.00
Stayed two nights. Staff friendly. Site was good, level. Grass and gravel. No picnic table. Water pressure good. WiFi good. Cable good. Roads are gravel. Road out of the park fraught with potholes. - Clyfford
Jan 2018 - $32.00
Easy on/off from I-49. Don't try from I-10. There were quite a few potholes on our way out of the campground, but manageable. Jnternet was per usual - weak. Cable excellent. Beautiful setting. Site 55 was overlooking a "pond" with cypress trees. It was possible to walk around the pond. Within 15 minutes of Lafayette. - Lou Ellen

People at City Hall were very nice but park was pitiful for the price. Most of the Pads were grass and were too wet to use. No one on site to ask questions. No trash cans or trash pick up that we could find. Ok for quick stop off but not to stay! No picnic table or anything! - James B Davis
Feb 2017 - $30.00
We had trouble locating the park from the street as the only sign we saw was to the city animal shelter. Once we did find it we decided not to stay as this is truly set up for rallies. There are hookups in open fields and also on large concrete parking lots. Maybe, and probably not for us anyway, would we stay here if attending a special event. A Walmart parking lot would be better without the fee, although you would not have water/electric connections. - pwdorris
Apr 2016 - $20.00
We were here for a rally. This is a large rally grounds over 500 sites. We parked on the grass and gravel. We had 30 amp service and there were shared sewers. There was 50 amp available if you parked on the blacktop. The facilities were very nice. No showers. - houseonwheels

Nov 2017 - $34.00
If you like small sites with no grass to speak of, this is for you. If you like no sleep because of all night traffic, again, this is for you. This is a park right up next to a 4 lane busy busy highway with an exit ramp right next to it. There are no buffers or trees to break the noise. I would NEVER stay here again or recommend it to anyone else. - DE Camper
Sep 2017 - $34.00
Great CG to stop at. Friendly service at check-in and very nice pull-through for our one night stay. Very clean facilities. Site was level. All we had to do was to hook-up our connections which were place in a good spot for our 5th wheel. We will definitely stop here again if we are in the area. Wi-fi was strong at our site and easy to use. - dakota ev

Mar 2018 - $30.00
Some of the roads from I-10 to the campground were pretty rough but adjusting speed and course when possible around the rough pavement and all was fine. Check in was smooth and we were given a map with all the empty slots marked and told we could have our pick. Drove around the lakes twice and picked spot 28. The road was mostly gravel, and they were making some improvements. Most of the spots are back in to the left, nice angle and you rear is on the lake. Nice cement pad, perfectly level with power, water, and sewer at the rear of the site. Fire rings at every other site. Picnic tables at every site. The sites were close together with very nice grass between on most. Laundry and bath areas were spotless, washing machines and driers pretty new, worked well. Very relaxing campground with fishing at your door. Paperwork and camp staff can give excellent suggestions on local restaurants, all we visited were excellent. The people of the area are warm and friendly. In every restaurant we struck up conversation with locals sitting at nearby tables, all very willing to offer up suggestions about local activities. - Gewehr Travels
Feb 2018 - $20.00
A little off the interstate, but was not a bad stop. It was a little buggy setting up, but when we walked the dogs later it seemed fine. Almost all sites are waterfront sites with cement pads. Ours was level. Hookups worked fine. Probably pretty hot in the summer. Would stay again. Our price reflects P.A discount. - villager04
Jan 2018 - $20.00
This is a fun place to stay, right on the water. Several man made small lakes with back-ins surrounding the banks, but they do have a few pull throughs. Ample room, but the tow vehicle will most likely need to be unhooked. Fishing is included with no license required. Clean grounds with trees, swimming pool, concrete pads and hookups placed correctly. Wi-fi was so-so, but good AT&T cell service. Friendly staff who couldn't do enough for us. Others have mentioned rough roads, but they have done work on them and we had no issues at all. Really loved this place. - Syncro

We stay here when we are in Lafayette. A lot of work is being done to clean up, trees trimmed so Satelite works on most sites. Close to good food. No pool but who cares I don't come to Lafayette for a pool. If you use Silver Sneakers Snap fitness is about 1/2 miles, I need to work out after all the food. Go to BJ's for a Shrimp PoBoy and fries. You won't be disappointed, about 1/2 mile. - User2314
Sep 2014 - $20.00
Spent one night at this park and while the park manager was friendly and nice, will not stop again. Traffic noise was so loud you felt like you were in the median strip on the highway and did not let up until after 10:30 or so. It appeared there were a number of old and abandoned RVs parked there. Since our camper has no bathroom, we had to use the shower and restroom, and they were in bad shape. There was a plunger by the toilets which were not functioning properly, no exhaust fan of any type that I could see for the showers, and not clean. That experience taught me to look at the bathrooms to check them before parking there. - Travellite14
May 2014 - $12.00
This park accepts Passport America, which is the rate I paid. This isn't a "destination" park, with pool, dog run, kid's playground, etc. I used this park as a home base for exploring the Lafayette area. It is on Route 90, and you'll get traffic noise, but it certainly didn't bother me. While I was there, the owner was having the laundry and bathroom building painted inside and out. He has been working on a solution to bring Wi-Fi to the park, but has had trouble coordinating with the cable provider. He was very accommodating, as I kept extending my stay. I would stay there again if I was in the area. - Betty.Karl

Oct 2017 - $18.00
Really hate to make negative comments about a facility, especially when the owners are no nice and park so attractive. The park is located about 12 miles off of I-10 on some of the roughest roads we have traveled on in Louisiana. We have driven on some dirt roads not as rough. Tree branches lining the paved road in the RV park need to be trimmed as some thin/light branches brushed against the coach several times as we transitioned thorough the park.
The sites are extremely narrow, some of the narrowest we have seen. If all the sites were being used, you would not be able to extend slides and awnings if your neighbors were attempting the same. Park had very few RV's during our stay. When not busy/at capacity, our site functioned as a drive thru, however at busier times, there would be two RV's on the site, back-to-back and the site would be a back-in. Sites, in my opinion, just do not lend themselves to any outdoor patio enjoyment/living. Too narrow, no adequate room for carpet, picnic table, BBQ or chairs. With that said, our overnight stay was only $17.50 for full hookups with Passport America discount.
Roads in the park are paved and narrow. Most sites appear level with concrete pads, some beginning to crack and a few with broken sections and very small grass patio. All utilities worked as intended with pedestals very close to the coach on both sides.
This park has a very large recreational and play area. Lots of open fields, lovely pool area and large covered pavilion. Park was clean and grass cut. Open sky for satellite reception. Verizon, Sprint and T Mobile all worked well. This venue would lend itself well to a family reunion with children where all activities were at the main pavilion and pool area.
The Passport America rate is awesome, however I do not believe we would return to this park primarily due to the rough 10 mile drive in and out and the narrow campsites. - ECM1
Jan 2017 - $17.00
Stopped over a couple of days to catch up on work. Quiet place to get some things done and take a travel rest. A highlight here was the response from a Sunday phone call--the owner answered and confirmed there was a spot and gave us a bit of direction as to coming in at night. Verizon 4g connected well here. - ThreeTravellingBlondes
Mar 2015 - $16.00
We spent 3 nights here exploring the area. The pull through length was fine for a 37' fifthwheel and ext cab long box dually. The site was narrow with barely sufficient room for our slide outs and neighbors. Rooftop dish worked fine as no trees at our site, rooftop TV antenna also picked up several local stations. We used our Verizon hotspot with no difficulties. The fellow that checked us in was very friendly and had good local info. He led us to our site to make sure all was well. We did have a problem with 50a as it one leg dropped to 18 volts and shut us down twice the first day. After changing to 30a it was OK for 2 days. The view out the back window was very nice and open. We'd stay here again as it was only about 6 miles off I-10 so we didn't have to tow further considering the poor roads and possible low live oak branches. - big greg

I stayed here for 4 nights working in nearby St. Martinville. The park is clean and most of the sites are away from Hwy 90 so quiet. I was close to the back and it was very quiet. There are a lot of workers staying here and some longer term residents. The road coming in is gravel and a bit rough but nothing too bad. Site is gravel and level, full hook ups, and all back in sites. The campground is very clean and seems well kept, a good bit of trees but none in the way and a good amount of space between sites.
Cash or check only, no credit cards. - DavzCarz
Dec 2017 - $25.00
Stayed 3 nights. WIFI was better than most parks. Host was good to us. Park has mostly long term residents. However, you could not tell they were long term, all sites were clean and orderly for most part. Road noise was not bad. Park has a bunch of speed bumps to keep traffic slow, which it is. We enjoyed our stay in this no frills park. Didn't use restrooms, but office was clean. We would stay again. - FTatcret2013
Jul 2015 - $25.00
The staff is Incredibly rude, took the enjoyment out of the stay. Park looks good until it rains and then it floods. Water covers the roads. Roads have huge pot holes. Bathrooms appear to be clean but are small and dark. - Articrob
