This is a very nice place. Very kid friendly as well as adult friendly. The staff were extremely hospitable and welcoming. Some of the camp sites are a good walk to the activities, but a short bike or golf cart ride. All sights are concrete therefore level and plenty spacious for our 32' travel trailer. Very good campground and we will be back. We camped at Reunion Lake RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

Top notch RV park with many water amenities. Pools, hot tub and lazy river are included in nightly rate. Lake activities requires additional bracelet with fee but our grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed these features! Everyone on the staff that we encountered were very helpful and nice. I love that they do NOT allow day visitors into the park unless they are with a registered camper. And, even then, there are limitations. We were adjacent to the mini golf/basketball/pickle ball courts and had no issues with noise or crowds as everyone was either in the pools or lake. The bathhouse is clean, climate controlled and has private showers with lavatory and toilet in each room. Great idea! Great place for families and we've already booked our 2019 family weekend! We camped at Reunion Lake RV Resort in a Motorhome.

One of the best RV resorts in Louisiana. Convenient access from the interstate highway. Very clean facilities and grounds. Nice wide, level, concrete pads long enough for any size RV. Very friendly staff. Lazy river and pools were clean. The park can get very crowded on weekends or holidays. Separate pools for kids and adults, although you will see the occasional violators in the adult pools. Park provides free donuts holes on Sunday morning. Good PR. There is plenty of activities for children and young adults. Nice lake with paddle boards and kayaks. Small shop for souvenirs, but limited on RV supplies. There is an arcade in the gift shop. The only negative I could find was the size of the pools. They need a large pool for adults. We camped at Reunion Lake RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

The place is incredible! There is a kiddie pool and splash area, an adult pool, plus a lazy river with a float up bar. There's a lake and for a fee there are kayaks and a huge blow up thing with slides. There's a putt-putt golf course (for a fee), basketball, volleyball, and pickle ball courts, walking trail, playground, and horseshoes. During the summer months there is an outdoor movie screen. The campground roads and sites are level concrete with a good size patio, picnic table, and fire pit with a bit of grass in between sites. The only negative - there aren't any trees, so the motorhome sits in the blazing sun all day. It really is a destination campground. Verizon worked great. There is a fee for WiFi and very limited cable TV. It's a bit pricey for a one-night stay, but we would definitely stay again to enjoy the grounds for a couple of days. We camped at Reunion Lake RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a gas station as you enter the park. We filled up before we left, but you can't turn left out of the gas station unless you're on the road going into the park. We had to make a right turn, drove about 1 mile, and turned around in a different gas station. The gas was about 23 cents a gallon less, but it wasn't a top tier gas station.

Reunion Lake RV Resort is very clean...the concrete roadways and pads are clean and white! No gravel and no dirt. The sod is green and cut. The park is meticulously maintained. The pull-through sites are amply situated to allow parking for your tow vehicle. Several of the back-in spots have a concrete pad in the rear with picnic table and room to erect an easy-up shade canopy. Each site has 50amp/30amp/20amp power, city water, sewer connection and cable TV. Teens were enjoying the game room as well as water features on the lake. Other amenities included a very clean kids' pool, food concession facility (good fries and hamburgers, a lazy river and two very popular pool-side bars. Absolutely the best RV Campground we have visited so far. We camped at Reunion Lake RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed at Reunion Lake the week before Memorial Day weekend. The park was not even half full during the week. It is a really nice park (resort). Not everything was open yet, but the pools and lazy river were great for me and the family. Super clean bath houses. Each room has its on toilet, shower and sink; so you can lock the door and not worry about your privacy. all concrete level sites. As we were leaving on Friday, the campground had filled up. I would be willing to bet its very busy on the weekends, but there are a lot of activities available. We camped at Reunion Lake RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

A nice RV Park, but plan on spending lots of money if you have a family. This Park charges for everything, except the Lazy River and Swimming Pools. Golf cart rentals are $75 per day. And the BIGGEST DETRACTER is they charge you for Internet Service, $7.50 per day. Ridiculous! If you want to swim in their lake, $25 per day. The CABLE TV did NOT work at our site either. On Weekends the place is a "SARDINE" ZOO! People bring their everything but the kitchen sink along, making it look really junky. Too many people and too many kids running around. If you like crowded RV parks, then this is the place. I have been at much better parks, where you don't have to pay for everything. This is our first and last visit to REUNION LAKE RV. We camped at Reunion Lake RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed for one weekend in a pull through site with a 30-ft travel trailer. CG is clean, modern with newer, wide concrete roads. Sites are huge with plenty of space between. Pools, hot tub, and lake with inflatables was open, clean, and working. Hot tub is adult only - great rule. Staff was great. Very close to I-12 but no road noise. Very quiet at night. You pay additional for lake and mini-golf. The CG is a little expensive but well worth it for an occasional family get away. We camped at Reunion Lake RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This is the nicest RV park we have stayed in since we started traveling 2 years ago. The Lazy River tube float is awesome and the hot tub is huge. The restrooms are individual rooms, nice and clean. Sites are large and level. Staff very friendly and helpful. Easy access from I-12. The only thing that could make it better would be more trees for shade. We will definitely stay here again when in this area. We camped at Reunion Lake RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here in April 2018. As I walked in the office the girl at reception was on the phone with a customer about a credit and was acting very bothered by this customers questions. As I checked in she told me their main water attraction was closed (only open on weekends and there was nothing about this on their website). She then asked me if I'd like to pay for WiFi or rent a golf cart to the tune of $75/day. I said no. I then inquired about food options as the website touts food and beverages on site. I was told that they are only opening the water attractions on the weekends and that went for food as well. The lazy river and pools were open but basketball/pickleball/putt putt were only on weekends as well and have an associated fee as do the water stuff. I was escorted to my site which was concrete and flat and level with easy hookups and good spacing. There are mature trees on the property as well and we were close to the lake. Also, I had called ahead to have an important package delivered and they said they would receive it. When I got there they said they had refused it because it was signature required (amazon prime, no sig required), then they said they didn't accept packages for guests. So again, for a resort, the service here SUCKS and the staff act like they don't want to be here and could care less if you are. Further, I booked this place because of water attractions, website says open "April-October", this isn't true and had I known I would've stayed somewhere else. As for the pools, no towels, lockers or restrooms could be found, so be sure to leave valuables in your rig and take your own towel with you. On the plus side there is a nice gas station and a Sonic for a quick fast food fix. All in all, this place has the feel of just wanting to nickel and dime you to death, so expect that and also expect very little by way of courteous helpful staff. In short, not all it's cracked up to be. Customer service - look it up! We camped at Reunion Lake RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Call ahead and ask very specific questions. Website is inaccurate and states things that are not true. Today it's 80 degrees and beautiful here, but almost everything at this "resort" is closed or locked up.

We are full timers and stayed at Reunion Lake from December through April in a 44 foot 5th wheel. Lots are level and concrete with plenty room The staff are helpful and friendly. The donuts every Sunday, at our door, were a nice bonus. The pool areas were well maintained. Entry and exit are easy with roads wide and open in the park. The park is convenient to both New Orleans and Baton Rouge. We really didn't want to leave. We camped at Reunion Lake RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Other reviewers of this resort reported the party atmosphere of this park. I would concur. This is where the locals go to party. The camper's seemed to consist of thirty-something couples with young children. Loud music from campsites and golf carts continued well past the quiet hours. Enforcement of the rules seemed to be lax and campsite etiquette was non existent. Aside from my complaints about the atmosphere, the facilities were impressive. Clearly, the owners business model is a destination resort. You could easily spend a few days at this resort and never have to venture off the property. The campsites themselves were adequate. Some landscaping would go a long way towards creating a level of privacy between sites. The grass is never going to become established as long as the owners permit driving and parking off the paved areas. The focus appears to be on the pool/recreation areas.

We paid extra for premium lake front site #107. I would not recommend this site. It is squeezed in on the end of the lake front row. The adjacent campsite is mere feet away from your door. The configuration is such that the site's fire ring could be confused for the neighbors. Being the end site next to the lake, everyone else seemed to access the lake by walking through our site. We camped at Reunion Lake RV Resort in a Motorhome.
