First, let me say, we have been traveling between Maine and the RVG for 10 years, so we have experienced a lot of campgrounds. When I read the negative reviews, I was apprehensive but the distance we wanted to travel that day landed us in the area. Please do not be led astray by negativity. Yes, it showed its age but was neatly mowed and trimmed...no trash around. It looked inviting and we were treated well by the staff. The pools were in a state of renovation but would not have been open this time of year anyhow. It was school break in the area so there were lots of kids around, activities were apparent. Night time was quiet. We felt it was a very good environment for an overnight stay. We would go back. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This place is really run down, garbage strewn about especially on the exit road, the utilities were in mud and water. We checked in and after that never saw a resort employee. The water was abruptly shut off for several hours, never did find out why. We were told that WIFI was available for free in the camping area....could not even get a signal. We were there for several days and on the last couple of nights we had a loud group of drunks next to us they played loud music and partied until 2 AM very inconsiderate folks. The posted "quite time" is 10 PM. This park is run down and apparently the owners are not improving it. We also woke up to gunshots on 3 of the mornings must be a shooting range nearby.. We won't return. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in a Motorhome.

Off-season stay with lots of workers getting the park ready for the season. Only long term folks and a couple of other RVs in a huge park. It was quiet, and adequate for our 2 night stay. Laundry was small but suited our needs. We would stay here again as a place to rest when traveling during the off-season. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in a Motorhome.

This park's amenities are in desperate need of maintenance and updating. The pools were clear (too cold to swim) but the pool areas were run down. The hot tub was empty and had caution tape around it. The miniature golf area was extremely run down, the game room was not in service and the restaurant was closed due to fire (looks like it had been closed a while). The camp sites were fair with old wooden picnic table and cracked concrete parking pad. The overall area was clean and clear of any litter. We were able to have a nice time despite the lack of advertised amenities. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed there on a weekend night when there was a LSU football game, so the rates were a bit higher, hence the value rating.

The campgrounds had been recently flooded during the heavy rains so there was a bit of residual damage.

Well stocked store, everything you might need for your camper.

Washrooms were a bit old but clean. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in a Motorhome.

This is a park intended to engage young children but the park needs lots of attention to bring it to the level to provide attractions for children. Many of the attractions were closed and not functioning. The park itself needed lots of attention also. It appears as though it may be under a change of management. A full timer who lives here for extended periods of time indicated that the park has been in much better condition in the past. Our campsite was a long pull thru that accommodated my 40' Class A with my 18' trailer still attached. Sites are gravel with a little grass surround and a small concrete patio with table.

While we were there, the area experienced more rain than normal for this time of the year causing flooding of near by Hammond and causing the Tangipahoa River to exceed its bank by 15 feet. All of that extra water from the Tangipahoa River drained into the park causing some flooding in the park. Our campsite was just above water for several days until the water in the park drained back into the Tangipahoa River. We survived our first ever park flooding. It was not a park issue since Mother Nature created the flooding conditions with the continuous rain that had no where to go once all of the rivers flooded!! I have since camped at other Yogi Bear Jellystone parks and this one is in need of lots of TLC to bring it back up to the same level of other theme parks. Not likely that I would stay here again. I stayed primarily because it is a Coast to Coast affiliate park. The fees are already paid through my Coast to Coast membership, so the fee indicated in the nightly rate does not reflect public fees. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in a Motorhome.

Well for one we rented a cabin that was too small (our fault) so we upgraded to a larger one they had. Was very pricey compared to other campgrounds. The cabins had tons of roaches. (I know, I know I'm camping! But I've rented Many of times from other campgrounds and this was a cleanliness issue.) Some activities but I definitely got better value and an overall better stay and experience at other campgrounds nearby. The outhouse or public bathhouses had cold water to shower with, and it was cold at the time! Ooowee! Just better FUN and most of all VALUE elsewhere!!! We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in a Cabin.

This is an older membership park. The site are a little tight for large rigs. Hook-ups were ok. No WI-FI from our site. Good over the air TV. Roads gravel but maintained. Staff friendly. About three miles from interstate. Park quiet and clean. Would use again. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in a Fifth Wheel.

How has the board of health, or the Yogi name not shut this place down. Stayed here 6 years ago and was hoping for improvement as it could be a nice place. Nothing changed unless it got worse. Stayed in a chalet and the pillows were moldy and mattresses were the worst ever. Nothing worked and had tape on a broken window.. Our recent stay did have sweet workers that my kids had a great time and felt like they were friends by the time we left. You can't expect sweet workers to overcome the overall trashiness of the management. It's becoming more of a trail or park than a camping vacation spot and the ones that live there expect and accept to live trashy. We wanted a yogi reminiscent vacation and felt we vacationed in a trailer park. Also the water slide don't be fooled, it cost you $15.00 extra a kid. Park also overrun with theft, beer, cigarettes and an ice chest stolen while we camped last week. I won't be back to vacation in a trailer park with dirty pools. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in a Cabin.

Fun activities for kids. It's a large park very nice. Sites were nice as well. We enjoyed staying here. There is always something to do. Staff is friendly and helpful. We liked the gift shop and look forward to visiting again. The roads were nice, which made it easy to find our campsite. Overall great park We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Rating is due to no hot water in the shower room, no Wi-Fi at the site (repeater problem), and a washing machine was missing it's lid. Nothing was fixed in the three nights I was there. I was self-contained but the people in tents had to be uncomfortable. Other than that the park was good. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed at Yogi Bear Jellystone Park for a weekend. At the time of our visit, it was the park's off season, yet they still had fun activities for kids. Volley ball courts, art and crafts, mini golf, and nature trails were just several of the many things to do! In addition to our camper, we rented a "loft". The small, shed-like cabin was very dirty and seemed to have a roach problem. There was dead bugs scattered throughout the loft. All the cabins and even the park was outdated. We did have an electrical problem, but the park ranger was there to fix it in less than five minutes. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in a Travel Trailer.

The rate cited reflects a Passport America discount. This was once a nice resort park but has fallen into disrepair. The Wi-Fi does not work, the vending machines mostly were out of order, the mini golf are was dirty and parts rotted and the water features were green and stinky. The pools were dirty and the store was unorganized and the clerks didn't even know the price of items. The roads were gravel and loaded with golf carts being driven by drunks and children causing excessive dust, one small child almost hit our rig while were sitting next to it. Radios were blaring all over the park as well as people yelling early in the morning. The spots were old broken concrete and very narrow to maneuver into. Would never stay in this over priced run down park again. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in a Motorhome.

The rate cited is the Coast-to-Coast member rate. The park needs major updating of utilities and facilities. Weekends are busy with lots of locals, golf carts running crazy, driven by all ages, and loud wild drinking parties. Many sites are short and hard to maneuverer with larger rigs. Rating the park a 5 is being very generous. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Our second Jellystone park in as many nights, in a Class A towing a car. Lady at the office was very nice and knowledgeable. Quick checkin. She said if we didn't like the site she gave us, just pick one out: we did. Lots of rain had flooded several sites, so we moved down a couple. Cement pads. Pull through. No TV where we were and WiFi was non-existent. Next morning when we left, the heavy rains had flooded a lot of the rest of the campground. We liked the campground and would definitely stay again. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in a Motorhome.
