2 Parks near Shreveport, Louisiana

This park is on our list to NEVER Return to! We failed to get reservations up the road and were forced to stay here, too tired to press on. The electrical, the water hook ups and the general condition of this place is horrible! The ironic thing is this place is owned and operated by a large RV dealership that is located right next to it. It is beyond me how the owner can pass by this place everyday, expecting to sell high and low end RVs, and represent his company with a dump like this. This is not a RV park, it is a mobile home park for welders with very loud trucks. They should be ashamed! - marcwtomas

I was very disappointed. The last time we stayed in Shreveport this place was wonderful. We stayed at a park three miles east of here, unfortunately they were full to capacity so we stayed here: a BIG mistake! The young girl (new manager) was completely lost: she had no idea what we were referring to when we needed 50 amp, etc. The first site we went to: the electric plug was hanging out of the box. The manager said to just plug it in and let it hang there. The site next to it: the plug appeared to be burnt on the left receptacle. I explained to her what that can do to our system. By this time it was getting late so we opted for the 30 amp and adapter. About 10:30 PM the power went out on the entire row, it was around 85 to 90 degrees out. We started our generator, pulled in the slides and headed out for Texas. Now we understand that everyone has to start somewhere on a job. But you should never put someone in a position that is so green they have no idea what they are doing. This place is not an RV Park, it's a long term housing area for local workers. - macpackman

THE BEST WIFI EVER!!!!
This RV Park is located just a few miles off I-20. Well secluded area with level spots. Most are gravel however we chose a premium pull thru for our 41' 5th wheel.
You must be careful and take your time turning into the pull through because the turns are tight. Once in there is a concrete pad for the RV and a patio area with metal table and chairs.
While here we watched many Class A Coaches come in and not able to park straight because of the tight turn.
The park is very clean - very nice laundry - my wife used it while here - We did not use the cable because we have a Direct TV Dish.
We stayed here 5 nights and would camp here again. - Larry Jenkins

GREAT little park with extremely level concrete pads available - FINALLY someone knows how to pour a level site! The office staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Very pretty surroundings with tall pine trees (hence the previous name) and lots of grass. They even have two fenced-in dog run areas, one each for small and large dogs. There was a lovely metal patio table and chairs at the site, clean and in good shape, and the whole park appeared to be pretty meticulously maintained. We met some nice people camping there and would definitely stay again if in the area. - pnation53

Very nice folks. Very good dog park and room to walk dogs. Quiet. Convenient. Overpriced (KOA). We were very happy here for one night. - WhoDat125
