Having read some negative reviews on this site, I was a bit apprehensive about staying here. Turns out there was no need to be. This is a very nice campground with a friendly staff. Seems to be quite a few permanent residents, but overall a pleasant, relaxing experience. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA (formerly Tall Pines RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Nice park, well maintained. Easy in and out of sites. Concrete pad with patio including metal table and chairs! Facilities were clean! Great dog park. We only stayed here one night and it was a good stay. We will stay here again! We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA (formerly Tall Pines RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here overnight while it was raining, and checked in after hours in the dark. The base price quoted by the camp host was approximately $34, and due to the rain, we opted for a concrete pad for an additional $4 since we did not want to risk getting stuck in the mud. The interior roads were not paved, but were gravel roads complete with numerous potholes. Our site did have a concrete pad, but we had to drive through a large patch of mud to access it. The sites next to ours also had concrete pads, but there had been some sort of digging going on at our site, and it was surrounded with lots of red mud. Don't understand why they didn't assign us one with grass at the entry. We were surprised the next morning when our card was charged $48.64, and when this was questioned, we were told that is what the price was. This campground is very much overpriced. We would not stay here again unless absolutely necessary. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA (formerly Tall Pines RV Park) in a Motorhome.

A couple of miles south off I-20 but relatively easy to find. The park is in a quiet area unless your site happens to be near the main road. Friendly staff and the store has lots of RV parts and supplies. Good cable TV and free Wi-Fi. Level sites. We'd stay there again. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA (formerly Tall Pines RV Park) in a Travel Trailer.

This is an OK KOA. Staff very friendly, park clean, nice dog park. The front sites are nice but were full when we got there so we had the area in the back around the dog park. Road is kind of narrow in back area so makes a big rig hard to pull out of if the people in front of you didn't pull up enough but it can be done. We would stay here again We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA (formerly Tall Pines RV Park) in a Motorhome.

This is an awesome RV park! The owner & his family are friendly & accommodating, making sure you are happy & have everything you need. The huge grass dog park is conveniently divided. I would definitely stay here again. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA (formerly Tall Pines RV Park) in a Travel Trailer.

This is a decent KOA overall, seems a bit rundown but cannot explain why. A little work here and there going on from the conversion to KOA from previous private operation. Restrooms are clean, hookups were in good working order and the site we used was easy to level. Wi-Fi signal is weak but still runs well, but is throttled based on bandwidth consumption. The staff was friendly but didn't escort us to our site, as is standard at most KOAs we have visited. However, the shop is better stocked than a lot of RV parts stores. If you have something needing replaced or upgraded, check them out, prices were in line with Camping World. Overall a good stop for a single night. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA (formerly Tall Pines RV Park) in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed overnight without unhitching, and found our site to be comfortable and clean. They have a variety of sites with a variety of prices - we went with one of the deluxe with a paved pad. Good WiFi, nice people, good Verizon coverage. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA (formerly Tall Pines RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

This is the second time we have stayed at this park, this time for an overnight on our way to Virginia. They are a campground in transition to a KOA, lots of yellow paint. The dog run area is good, 2 separate fenced sections. We didn't use the rest rooms or pool but the pool did look clean. Easy in and out. Would stay here again. This is an old KOA park that the new owners have returned to great shape. The sites are all grass and basically level. There is a concrete slab with wrought iron furniture on each site. The cable TV and Wi-Fi worked great. The pool was cool and clean and comfortable and the restrooms and laundry were as immaculate as we've seen in any campground. The owner and office personnel were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay here and will return again. When I called and they told me they were becoming a KOA I should have known to go somewhere else. Was there 3 yrs ago and loved it. Now the KOA attitude has taken over and they have already stopped caring or maintaining. First gave us a spot that already had someone in it. When I asked for one three spots down the said it was reserved although no one arrived in the three days we spent there. Same with my second request. The one they finally gave us needed mowing and the sewer was real slow. Will not return. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA (formerly Tall Pines RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Clean and well maintained park. Easy in and out. Level sites. Very little road noise, at least from the sites at the back of the park where we were located. Friendly staff. Quick check in. One of the best stocked stores we've seen in any park with a few basic grocery items, but numerous items for your RV (even a couple of roof AC units). Large dog park which is divided in two parts (one side for small dogs and the other side for dogs over 30 pounds). Would definitely stay here again. This is a beautiful park; too bad we came in late and only stayed one evening. This park has everything you would expect a ten rated park to have. Unfortunately, we didn't stay long enough to enjoy it fully. We got a great Verizon signal and our DirecTV access was great. The park cable was more than adequate as well. All hookups were as they should be. This park is a beautifully clean and scenic park. The parking surface was concrete in our spot. You will want to return to this park again and again. One of the nicest RV parks we have stayed in. Beautifully kept grounds. Good WiFi and cable. Dog park is very clean and fenced with lots of room to play. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Every space has a concrete patio with colorful wrought iron table and chairs. Level sites with plenty of room between sites. Price reflects Good Sam Discount plus Louisiana taxes. So, the $34.20 Good Sam per night rate ends up being $38.69 per night due to 13.1% tax rate. We extended our stay to 4 nights and would definitely stay here again. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA (formerly Tall Pines RV Park) in a Travel Trailer.
