This is a good place to stay traveling east to west on hwy 20. The interior roads are paved, and the spots are gravel, but there are some spots that are concrete. I suppose you could request a concrete pull thru spot if they are available. Our site on gravel got a little swampy, because one night it poured rain very heavily. This place is probably about a 7.7. We were in site #35 There was no highway noise, but there are trains blowing their horns a lot in the middle of the night. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

This is really off the wall, but we could not find anything else to do this late in the season, so we visited the Shreveport Water works museum. It is the oldest in the Country that used pumps and filters etc. The tour is free, and it was actually interesting.

Our site was very long but there are concrete blocks as you enter the site which makes for a tight turn. There was a metal table and chairs on a concrete pad but there was also a concrete strip as you exit the RV which was about an inch or so lower than the table pad which created a tripping hazard. We were there on a Sunday of Labor Day weekend and by evening the park was very full. Nice clean park and if we were in the area again would return. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA in a Motorhome.

First stay in a KOA. Nice selection of parts to fix problems. Very friendly staff. Park was clean and restrooms and pool were clean. Dog park needed repair on agility toys. Having the dog park was a plus as we are traveling with an active hunting dog. Site had patio and picnic table and was very level. Stayed 2 nights in 31' travel trailer. This will be a regular stop when we come through the area. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed one night westbound. Pull through, gravel site. Tight, difficult turn had to back out and go around 3 times and then finally encroach on the approach to a TT across the way before finally getting into site without running over concrete edge of patio that showed signs of having been broken off many times before. Site was long enough to stay hooked up with my 34' fifth wheel but was several degrees low on one side. Full services with water and 50 amp electric but sewer pipe was unusually high. The people running the park seemed nice and it appeared to be a nice, treed, older park. Did not use wifi or facilities. I'll probably try a different park if in the area again. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Older park that now is a KOA. It was easy in and out for 45 ft MH. We did have to unhook and back up to get a tree out of the way of my sat dish. Sites are gravel but some have big concrete curbs to protect utilities and patio. Kind of a pain to dodge, but site was level and FHU worked well. WIFI was good, of course I was next to the node. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA in a Motorhome.

Park is an easy drive off I20. Entry is off busy street and you have to take up two lanes to make the turn into the park. Spaces are a bit tight for a 45 foot RV. I had to walk the area to make sure I had an angle to exit. Landscaping is a bit tired. I would stay again but would look for another location if possible. We stayed in site 39. wifi very good. laundry reasonable and clean. staff extremely friendly. Site gravel with concrete pad and a nice metal table and chairs. The front part of the park is newer and more suitable for larger rigs. Close to downtown with easy access to I-20. great dog park. A bit pricy even with our KOA discount but would stay again if in area nOne thing, there is only one entrance/exit and the road is a busy one so use caution. Nice park in a beautiful setting with tall trees and grass. Great dog park. Roads and site were tight for my 43' footer so I would advise disconnecting your toad at the check in area. Showers were clean and open. Pool looked nice and they had a playground. Close to Shreveport and all the amenities of a southern city. Only stayed two nights but will keep it in mind when I'm close to Shreveport in the future. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA in a Motorhome.

Nicely laid out park, concrete pads for RV with gravel access roads and grass around patio with picnic table. Sewer pipe was very high off ground and not too easy to get to, power pedestal was too low to ground making use of Surge protector impossible! Have to say, price for what we got was a bit too high - would not stay here again. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA in a Motorhome.
