Easy in and out. Long wide site, more than ample for our 40' coach with slides in each side and toad. Helpful staff, great amenities (including large pool and 2-size dog park). We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA (formerly Tall Pines RV Park) in a Motorhome.

It is a couple of miles off the highway. Quiet, clean park. All the sites have a metal table and 4 chairs and a concrete patio. We stayed in site # 34 this time and much preferred that over the sites we have stayed in before... the sites # 1 - 30 required a tight right hand turn after leaving the registration area. Sites # 31 - 60 are much easier to navigate. The WiFi and cable TV were good. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA (formerly Tall Pines RV Park) in a Motorhome.

We were there when some bands of Hurricane Harvey came through. It rained really really hard and there were lots of big puddles of water all over the park. It rained about 15 hours. Within 2 hours of stopping.... all the water was gone from the campground. Great drainage!! Really awesome gated dog area. One for large, one for small dogs. Each has some agility items in each. Nice spacious hard gravel pack sites and some cement sites. Medal round table and 4 chairs supplied on large patios. each site also has cement walkways. Clean and spacious. Sat Dish worked great, didn't use wifi. AT&T worked great. We would and will stay here again. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA (formerly Tall Pines RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Easy access to I20, wide interior roads and turns, roads paved with gravel. Site had concrete pad and patio with table and chairs. The patio was ideally positioned for my awning. We sat and watched the rain while we were perfectly dry. The wifi very good and the cable was ok. Staff was very nice, pool was ok, a trifle small maybe. Will definitely stay her again. We had a delay and had to arrive a day late. Although they wouldn't give us a refund because we were beyond the cancellation policy (48 hrs), they rebooked us for the next night. The park is clean with lots of shade. Parking can be a bit of a challenge even with pull through because of the trees. The showers are great and very clean. We would stay here again. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA (formerly Tall Pines RV Park) in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Superior Bar and Grill has excellent Mexican food for a fair price. Be prepared to wait a bit (we waited 45 minutes) but it was worth it.

We used as first stop in long trip. Staff was excellent and made us feel welcomed. They have wifi, believe tengo net which was okay. Our site had a short cement pad on it which barely fit our small RV on it. An easy on and off of I-20. Did not use facilities. Plenty of food, etc services in local area. Would stay again. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA (formerly Tall Pines RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Easy off/on to I-20 with a convenient gas station close to the park. Concrete pad with adequate room to leave the tow vehicle unhitched as we were only staying for 1 night. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There are quite a few long term residents, but the sites were well kept and tidy. Despite being so close to the interstate, the park was very quiet. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA (formerly Tall Pines RV Park) in a Travel Trailer.

Located close to I-20. Easy in and out of sites. Our site was pull thru concrete pad with patio including metal table and chairs. Sites had space, some with trees. Our 40' rig barely fit on the pad. We have some difficulty leveling. Other sites were grass or gravel. Next time we will get an all gravel site to fit rig & tow. Wifi was OK. Our site didn't have trees, therefore used SAT TV with no issues. Facilities were clean! Laundry room is behind office with older machines but good. Cost for washing $2.00. They have a good size store with snacks and RV equipment. There is a pool and picnic area, however wasn't open yet. Great dog park. Papa John's pizza will deliver to your site. We only stayed here one night and it was quiet. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA (formerly Tall Pines RV Park) in a Motorhome.

We spent one quick night on a cross-county trip, and would definitely stay here again. Our large pull-through site was perfectly level, and had a nice patio and picnic table. The bathrooms were spotless and quite nice. The little store was ok, but closed soon after we arrived. The staff was very helpful, even providing an adapter for us to use with the cable system which had plenty of clear channels. The campground was very convenient to the highway, but far enough way to be extremely quiet. We would definitely stay here again. The park is clean, well maintained and the facilities are excellent. The interior roads and spaces are sufficiently wide and easy to negotiate, but there is no privacy between spaces. There is a playground for children and a nice off-leash dog run and plenty of area for dog walking. Utilities worked well. The service, however, was so negative as to outweigh the positive facilities. The KOA website advertised specific charges which were increased upon arrival without my knowledge or notice. The office staff acknowledged the website rate was incorrect, but refused to adhere to the published rate. KOA corporate refused to accept any responsibility and claimed the website language about the rates being estimates allowed the local campground to add any additional charges it wanted to, without limit and without disclosure. I would not stay at this park again. Also, because of KOA corporate's position of excuse and justification for a misleading website and unfair treatment, I will not be using KOA campgrounds in the future. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA (formerly Tall Pines RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

A roomy pull-through, more than adequate for our 40' coach and toad. Large fenced dog park near our site. Lots of trees and shade but easy to maneuver the access roads without scraping tree limbs. Friendly, helpful staff. Adequate water pressure, electric, sewer. Nicely stocked camp store. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA (formerly Tall Pines RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Fairly large park suitable for our short stay, although there are long-term residents here. There is a paved entrance road into the park which branches off onto gravel roads. The office complex with check-in sits near the center of the property. In the front section of the park are long gravel pull-through sites (most seemed to have a slope; some very significant). Shorter back-in sites are off the two gravel side roads. Located behind the office are two additional sections. There are ten sites with fairly level, long concrete pads off of gravel roads. Next to the section of concrete-pad sites is an area with longer-term residents on grassy/gravel sites. Although the concrete-slab area is designed for larger coaches, it is difficult to maneuver into sites 101-105. The road between the concrete slab sites and the longer-term resident sites is narrow and trees have been planted on both sides of the entrance into the concrete sites. We could not make the corner into our pull-through site (even with our tow disconnected) without scraping the sides of our 45' coach with tree limbs. Not wanting to do that, we ended up driving down the "exit" road of our site and then backing into it (no trees at the front of the sites.) The entrance road for sites 61-65 is older asphalt and a bit wider, plus there is just a grassy field on the opposite side of the road, thus it would be easier to swing wide and enter those sites. However, several of those sites have mature trees which may block roof-mounted satellite access. The property includes a very nice convenience store with food, pet supplies, and rv parts, wi-fi, cable tv, a seasonal pool, children's play area, two wonderful enclosed dog park areas, and the nicest, CLEANEST restrooms/showers we have seen in many parks. We found the office personnel to be very cordial and helpful when visiting with them during check-in...a credit to the organization. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA (formerly Tall Pines RV Park) in a Motorhome.
