Older park that now is a KOA. It was easy in and out for 45 ft MH. We did have to unhook and back up to get a tree out of the way of my sat dish. Sites are gravel but some have big concrete curbs to protect utilities and patio. Kind of a pain to dodge, but site was level and FHU worked well. WIFI was good, of course I was next to the node. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA (formerly Tall Pines RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Park is an easy drive off I20. Entry is off busy street and you have to take up two lanes to make the turn into the park. Spaces are a bit tight for a 45 foot RV. I had to walk the area to make sure I had an angle to exit. Landscaping is a bit tired. I would stay again but would look for another location if possible. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA (formerly Tall Pines RV Park) in a Motorhome.

We stayed in site 39. wifi very good. laundry reasonable and clean. staff extremely friendly. Site gravel with concrete pad and a nice metal table and chairs. The front part of the park is newer and more suitable for larger rigs. Close to downtown with easy access to I-20. great dog park. A bit pricy even with our KOA discount but would stay again if in area nOne thing, there is only one entrance/exit and the road is a busy one so use caution. We originally planned on two nights but a mechanical issue caused us to stay for five. They were more then helpful in getting us back during a busy time. Quirky animal statues around the park. Great WiFi for streaming Netflix and Amazon. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA (formerly Tall Pines RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Nice park in a beautiful setting with tall trees and grass. Great dog park. Roads and site were tight for my 43' footer so I would advise disconnecting your toad at the check in area. Showers were clean and open. Pool looked nice and they had a playground. Close to Shreveport and all the amenities of a southern city. Only stayed two nights but will keep it in mind when I'm close to Shreveport in the future. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA (formerly Tall Pines RV Park) in a Motorhome.

This KOA is pretty nice as far as cleanliness and ammenities. Services were all in the right spot and we had a nice metal patio set at our site. Wifi was good as were the TV channels. Would stay here again. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA (formerly Tall Pines RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Nicely laid out park, concrete pads for RV with gravel access roads and grass around patio with picnic table. Sewer pipe was very high off ground and not too easy to get to, power pedestal was too low to ground making use of Surge protector impossible! Have to say, price for what we got was a bit too high - would not stay here again. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA (formerly Tall Pines RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Well lit at night. Great dog parks, friendly staff. Concrete pull thrus. Older park. Fire ant hill at our site. Spoke to office and they immediately put poison out on them. Would stay there again. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA (formerly Tall Pines RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

This campground is just off the highway so there is some road noise. Our site was level, gravel and concrete, with a concrete patio. There was a very nice metal table and chair set on the patio. We only spent one night here so I can't give a full review, but it is a nice campground - although a bit expensive. Overall Rating:

This is a basic KOA that is NOT as quiet as previous reviews have stated. The interstate is less than a 1/4 mile away and was busy all of the time. During the day the noise was such that we didn't want to sit outside. Even at night it was busy, along with the local road on the other side of the park. There's even a train that blows its whistle at night. Other than the noise, the park is mostly OK and the owners were very nice. There is grass between long, mostly level sites. We like a little landscaping or something to make the site look nice, but none here. Our Dish satellite worked fine, but they also offer great cable and free Wifi. Our patio had the usual metal table and 4 chairs, but they were rusty and in need of a paint job. The price per night is way too high for the quality of the park. I doubt if we'll ever stay here again....too noisy. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA (formerly Tall Pines RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

This park has easy access. A little tight for big rigs, but accessible nonetheless. The roads and sites are quite narrow and very close. We have a 40' fifthwheel and no issues navigating the Park, you just have to take care and pay attention. Long pull thrus that allowed us to stay hooked up. There was a table and chair set on the site which was nice. Staff friendly enough, but seemed a little indifferent to the guests. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA (formerly Tall Pines RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Excellent park. We stayed one night and then returned for two more nights. Site level. All hookups worked well. Fair to good cable - some channels snowy. Wireless - slow to connect so didn't use. Dog parks excellent - large and small sections. Playground equipment for the pups. Would have rated a "10" except for one issue: we tried to get a propane fill before we left at 10:30am Sunday morning - a common time for campers to leave. I was told by the lady in the office that it would not be possible unless we waited for a period of time. If a KOA says they have propane, they should have an authorized filler available - particularly at check-out time on a Sunday. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA (formerly Tall Pines RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Louisiana State Fair - about 8 miles away. Open from Oct. 27- mid November. Used Lyft from and to park to avoid leaving pup parking at Fair. Don't expect to get Propane on a Sunday morning at checkout time.

We were there when some bands of Hurricane Harvey came through. It rained really really hard and there were lots of big puddles of water all over the park. It rained about 15 hours. Within 2 hours of stopping.... all the water was gone from the campground. Great drainage!! Really awesome gated dog area. One for large, one for small dogs. Each has some agility items in each. Nice spacious hard gravel pack sites and some cement sites. Medal round table and 4 chairs supplied on large patios. each site also has cement walkways. Clean and spacious. Sat Dish worked great, didn't use wifi. AT&T worked great. We would and will stay here again. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA (formerly Tall Pines RV Park) in a Motorhome.

It is a couple of miles off the highway. Quiet, clean park. All the sites have a metal table and 4 chairs and a concrete patio. We stayed in site # 34 this time and much preferred that over the sites we have stayed in before... the sites # 1 - 30 required a tight right hand turn after leaving the registration area. Sites # 31 - 60 are much easier to navigate. The WiFi and cable TV were good. We camped at Shreveport / Bossier City KOA (formerly Tall Pines RV Park) in a Motorhome.
