Overall, OK place to park to see Natchez, but nothing in Vidalia to see/do. Positives: plenty of places to walk the dogs both paved and grass, nice view of the Mississippi River, relatively level, concrete site, and seemed safe. Negatives: cable is SD (snowy definition - in other words "pitiful"), Wi-Fi was hit or miss at our site, noisy at night from chemical plant nearby, very dusty gravel roads while driving into/out of park, location to park is tricky because actually need to be on MLK Street vice the Park's actual address to get there, and neighborhood you drive through to get to the park is unsavory. The staff were nice and all the basic hookups worked fine. I think this is probably the best place to stay while visiting Natchez, so I'd stay again, but there is room for improvement at this campground. We camped at River View RV Park & Resort in a Motorhome.
Natchez is going through some tough economic times and downtown is really dead at night during the week. Keep your head on a swivel if you go down there. Still some good places to eat, there's a couple of Casinos if you like that and, of course, there are the old homes to visit.

Nice park. Lots of workampers. They have propane on site. Our coach faces the river so we could watch the boats and the bridge was pretty lit up at night. Quiet. We didn't use the laundry but could see it was very clean and nice front loading machines. We would go back again. Sales tax is high. We camped at River View RV Park & Resort in a Motorhome.
Easy to get to Natchez to sightsee.
Date of Stay: October, 2014 - $40.00
This is probably the best park to visit the Natchez area. It is fairly easy to get in and out. Our site was level. Be aware not all sites have concrete pads, some are grass. I downgraded for the following reasons. No WiFi, no cable, and we had to be careful walking the dogs due to stickers and fire ants. We camped at River View RV Park & Resort in a Motorhome.Undo

Nice campground, but we stayed during balloon festival. Two nights at $60, one night at $19 (Passport America) one night at $35 (Good Sam rate). Taxes are high, $27. Cable TV is OK at best. Park is actually located on Dr. MLK Drive, not Riverview as posted on website. Caused a little bit of confusion with GPS. We would stay here again. Date of Stay: October, 2014 - $38.00
Price reflects Escapees discount. Nicely laid out and there is a paved walkway along the river [not part of the park]. River traffic can be a bit noisy but can also provide interesting sights. Excellent Verizon signal, no CATV, no Wifi except at the office. Sites long, paved & level and well spaced apart. We camped at River View RV Park & Resort in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $30.00
We stayed at the weekly rate. The Louisiana taxes are high. They added over $30 in tax to our stay! Lodging tax, hospital/school board tax, and then state tax. Overall, this is a pretty good park at a nice location. Gravel roads which were okay, the grass was in need of cutting, the weeds and grass at the playground were terrible. Bathrooms were nice and clean and the staff was very nice. There is no exercise room as advertised. If you are in the area, this is a fine place to stay. Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $45.00
Park was clean and relaxing. Showers, restrooms, pool areas were very clean. Grounds were well kept and plenty to do and see around the area. Wi-Fi was terrible, as was the cable TV reception, which was basically satellite TV pushed through the 193 RV sites and reception was very very iffy at best. Local antenna TV was nonexistent. Have been here often over 4 years. The basics are always good. Level, with all hookups, Wi-Fi (spotty). View and location very good. This time no problems with stickers, which in the past were an issue for us with our small dog. Will come again. Natchez is a very interesting city to see. Very nice park with long, level concrete pads--plenty of room to hook up toad the night before leaving. Not all sites have close view of river, but it is neat to watch the barges up and down the Mississippi. Very little shade. Morning on site trash pick up. We had very good wi fi, but the park was not very crowded. Very nice bathrooms, showers, and laundry. Staff helpful with tips about restaurants, etc. Their cable is not really cable, and the lady at the desk told us we would probably do better with our antenna, which is what we did. Park is part of the riverwalk system of Vidalia; we felt very safe, as the local law enforcement made the rounds of the riverwalk area almost hourly. If you want to use GPS, always, always ask when you call. Their GPS address is not what's posted in Trailer Life as their physical address. It is on MLK Drive, not Riverview Dr. as listed. Mosquitos were horrible, making walking in the evening all but impossible, but that's to be expected in Louisiana. Would definitely stay here again. Nice park, good walking areas. Sites were level and great view of the Mississippi. Would definitely return. We camped at River View RV Park & Resort in a Motorhome.Undo

This is our first time here and we really like it. It's been raining off and on since arriving but the sites all seem to drain well and the gravel road has a few puddles but they are not deep and haven't been an issue. The management team has been very helpful and friendly. The only complaint we've had is the grass needs to be mowed but with the frequent showers it's been impossible for the last several days. We will stay here again We camped at River View RV Park & Resort in a Motorhome.Undo

Well kept park on the banks of the Mississippi. Riverbank boardwalk to Visitor Center under bridges. Immaculate individual washroom/showers. We found everyone in the town of Vidalia very friendly and helpful. We will definitely return for a week stay next year. One of our favourite parks on the river, at the south end of the Natchez Trace Parkway. We camped at River View RV Park & Resort in a Fifth Wheel.Undo
Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $40.00
This RV park was pleasant and comfortable on the banks of the Mississippi River. We could see the barges traveling the river from our campsite and from the pool. The park is also very convenient to the Natchez area. The sites were large and grassy with level pull-throughs. The showers and restrooms were clean separate rooms, however there were no electric outlets in the rooms. We would stay here again when in this area. We camped at River View RV Park & Resort in a Travel Trailer.Undo
Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $20.00
This park has 2 main sections - north and south of the office. The north section is among the trees and does not have cable. The south section is mostly open (good for satellite reception) and has terrible cable TV. All sites are FHU and most are on cement pads. WIFI is available in the office and you may be able to get reception in your RV if you are close to the office. The pool is small but nice. The laundry is modern but expensive. Nice full service full hookup campground along the banks of the Mississippi river, just across the bridge from Natchez, MS. Bike / walking paths head north and south from the campground. Great base from which to tour Natchez. Verizon cellular voice and data service were excellent. We camped at River View RV Park & Resort in a Travel Trailer.Undo
