Large, level park with mix of shade, partial shade and no shade sites. Some with concrete pads and some with grass. Interior roads are gravel. Full hook-ups. Very clean laundry. Valet trash pickup each morning. The site I was in on the south side of the office was close to the office where I got very good, free wifi. Price of $35.50 was average for three nights, with tax, of standard rate of $39.95. First night ½ price with Passport America, 2nd and 3rd nights were 10% off with GS. We camped at River View RV Park & Resort in a Motorhome.

Use 800 Martin Luther King instead of GPS directions. Convenient for visiting Natchez. The Natchez Visitors Bureau offers multi-hour parking, but it is slanted.

We actually stayed here 3 times within about 6-8 weeks. Nice park along the Mississippi River for barge watching. Staff was great, reservations, check-in, grounds, etc. really like how they have concrete pads on some of the sites and some grass so if they aren't crowded you will have large grass area. Gravel roads, wifi that works fairly well. Be sure to eat at Roux 61 and Mammy's Cupboard. Relaxing park. We camped at River View RV Park & Resort in a Motorhome.

Park is right on the Mississippi River and close to Natchez MS. A nice park with lots of spaces most with cement pads. Do not bother with asking for cable. They have it but it works on only a couple of channels and those are full of snow. Was told that frequent floading have damage cable wires. We used OTA TV. The wifi worked okay but was slow. Sites are a little close but give enough grass to sit outside. Not many trees for shade and our spot got full afternoon sun just below the awning. Also had to pay extra for 50 amp service which you need to run ac and other heavy electric users like blow dryers and microwaves at the same time. Would probably stay again due to location. We camped at River View RV Park & Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This a very nice park on the Mississippi River. The spaces alternate between grass and concrete and the staff keeps everyone spaced out, which is nice. I would imagine things would be closer when it is more crowded. Staff was friendly and helpful. WiFi was pretty good. Good ATT and easy satellite setup. Some sites may have had a few more trees which would have presented a problem. Sewer was placed way forward of w/e and if you were staying for a long period you would need a LONG sewer hose. We were here only for two days so just waited until we left, pulled forward and dumped. We camped at River View RV Park & Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Located across the Bridge to Mississippi. pretty expensive for what you get. We stayed for a night prior to accessing the Natchez Trace. Nothing outstanding about this park. It was clean and quiet and on the Mississippi River. We camped at River View RV Park & Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Natchez Historic centre and info centre across the bridge. More to do there, the old mansions were lovely. Proximity to Natchez Trace was the only reason we stopped. Nothing here to be outstanding, a Walmart would have been just as nice for the price.

Nice park along the Mississippi River. Clean welcoming office, pool & hot tub, nice sites. Every other site has a concrete pad with a grass site in between. It appeared that they fill the concrete pad sites first then fill in with the grass sites. When we were there mid-week in April, most concrete pads were taken. Without a reservation, we were able to get a riverside site with a concrete pad. Walk or bike the Riverwalk paved trail along the river. We camped at River View RV Park & Resort in a Motorhome.

Excellent campground! Strange that it is on the river side of the levee, so you can't get much closer to the mighty Mississippi! This CG would be a 10 if the price was lower. Staff were friendly and helpful. I stayed in the North side and preferred it over the South side. Tremendous views of the river and the bluffs of Natchez. A couple of barges stopped near the CG on 2 or 3 nights but their engines were a minor issue. Sheriff rode thru a couple of times each day. We camped at River View RV Park & Resort in a Travel Trailer.

A very clean and well care for park. Sites are large enough for comfort and hook-ups are in the middle of the site (not great for us but good for most rigs). Our rig is nearly 55 feet and length and there was plenty of room to any hooked up while here. Bright lines on the pedestal are not our cup of tea, but we know many enjoy and want them. Quiet and safe (not sure, but had the feeling this was a city owned park as it is in between the levee mounds and city police patrols were very evident during our 2 day stay. Great river walk of about 3 miles goes right thru the park and is paved. We camped at River View RV Park & Resort in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here before we started our trip on the Natchez Trace Parkway. The is a very beautiful RV park. The staff is very friendly and informative about things to do in the area. After we set up our motorhome, we drove across the Mississippi River in our towed vehicle and explored the sites in Natchez. This is a very beautiful city and has lots of beautiful mansions from the Civil War era. I would recommend taking a trip into Natchez if staying at this park. The next day we started our trip up the Natchez Trace which is either the beginning or the end of the Trace depending on which end you start from. The only negative I could find about the entire park was the limited cable channels available. WIFI was excellent. There is a nice walking trail along the Mississippi River which is excellent for watching the tugs and barges passing by. If you are a light sleeper, ask for a site on the back row so the noise from the tugs will not disturb you. I will definitely return to this park for another visit. We camped at River View RV Park & Resort in a Motorhome.

We were only spending the night on our way home. Wanted to check out Natchez and this park was very convenient. Our site was concrete and level. It was a cold February night so we didn't use the pool or hot tub. Enjoyed watching the river traffic. Disappointed there was no electrical plug in the bathroom. Wi-Fi was ok. We camp in an A-liner camper. We camped at River View RV Park & Resort in a Travel Trailer.

We camped here a couple of nights while visiting Natchez (such an interesting and historical place. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the park is beautiful - right on the Mississippi River with a river walk to enjoy it. It is large with lots of open grassy spaces. Our site was one of the less expensive ones, but be aware of the Louisiana 10% tax and Passport only good one night. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. So much to do in Natchez - large 1800s estates, National Park Historic sites including Natchez Indians, lives of slaves, and lives of a freed black family, a great river walk on both sides of the river, the Natchez Trace that goes all the way to Nashville, National Wildlife sites, and lots of good restaurants.
