Great little "hidden" county park located on the Sabine River. This park is about 6 miles North of I-10 on the TX/LA state line. Sites are quite close to the river which came up due to Toledo Bend being lowered upstream. Our site site was close to level, water and electric were good and the dump station very accessible. If in the area we would return again "if" the skies were clear. We camped at Niblett's Bluff Park in a Motorhome.
This kid-friendly county park has pull-throughs and water + 50 amp service. There's lots of playground equipment and the Sabine River flows by, with Texas forest on the other bank. It's 5 miles off I-20. We camped at Niblett's Bluff Park in a Motorhome.

The only reason this isn't a 10 is because we arrived late and it was very dark in the park so we had trouble seeing the roads and finding our site that was assigned when we made the reservation. There was only one other RV in the entire park, so we ended up taking a pull through that was the first one we found. No host on duty when we arrived. We paid the next day as we were leaving. It was rainy and cold, but this park looked like it would be great in warmer weather. We would stay here again. We camped at Niblett's Bluff Park in a Motorhome.
Very pretty spot. Excellent rates. Good size sites but dusty roads even though speed limit is 5mph. Great staff. Run by community. Picnic area used by lots of day users. Toilets/showers are a mess at end of day. During the week it was very quiet, but weekends very busy as it is popular with locals. We camped at Niblett's Bluff Park in a Motorhome.

Nice park, a hidden gem, run by local people. It is about 5 miles off the freeway right before crossing into Texas. We have stayed here a couple of times. It can be busy on weekends with local folks, but very quiet during the week. many waterfront sites - the Sabine river, good utilities and a dump station, perfect for an overnight or two. We camped at Niblett's Bluff Park in a Motorhome.

This is a nice campground with lots of things to do for both adults and children. There is the Sabine River, with fishing or boating, and a nice playground for kids. They have a collection of exotic deer and a few goats. There a large pavilion an several cabins available for rental. The Niblett's Bluff Church Museum is adjacent to the park and as well as a very interesting historic cemetery beside that. We camped at Niblett's Bluff Park in a Fifth Wheel.
Date of Stay: October, 2007 - $12.00
Beautiful little park with camping, day use, pavillions for rental, fishing, boating, and even a small animal park area with goats, deer, sheep, and burros when we were there. The staff was pleasant and the park very peaceful. We only stayed 1 night as we had to be in Covington, LA the next day. Would definitely stay again. Downside was lack of internet access, no swimming, and many of the sights weren't very level. We camped at Niblett's Bluff Park in a Motorhome.
