This campground has some of the best on-the-lake sites in Maine and a nice beach. But that's where the good features end. Biggest negative were the showers and bathrooms. Stayed one week and bathrooms/showers were too few and very poorly maintained. Clogged toilets, no TP. On a very busy weekend, nothing was cleaned. Access roads would be difficult for larger rigs. Overall poorly maintained and not attractive. Most sites are seasonal with personable campers. I would go again for the lake and sites, provided I had my own shower and toilet, but the lake sites do not have sewer connections. The owner is pleasant and hard working, but appears overwhelmed based upon the conditions of roads, sites and lack of organization and landscaping. The desk person needs training on serving customers and making them feel welcome. Generally would not recommend, compared to many nice CG in Maine. However, in a pinch and without plans to use toilet/shower it can be acceptable. We camped at Sennebec Lake Campground in a Travel Trailer.Undo

This campground is located on a steep drop down from the entrance to the pond (Sennebec) and consists largely of seasonal campers, with approximately 20 transient sites. We were there during "Hallowe'en" (in August) weekend and the place was overflowing with noisy boisterous campers. Also, the jet skis on the pond were very annoying for kayakers like us. Sites are very close together, compounding the problem with noise. We were there for 9 days but will NOT be returning again for the reasons mentioned above. To many seasonals and sites were very small to many carts running around and parties at night, some campers had 4 large dogs that barked and whined all day. Not a good visit, we will not go back. We camped at Sennebec Lake Campground in a Travel Trailer.Undo
Campground has mixture of seasonals and transients. Best waterfront sites are 62 thru 72.
Facilities are clean and staff very friendly. Only complaint was barking dogs. Campground does have boat dock and loading ramp. Nice home base to visit
Camden/Rockport/Rockland area. Would stay here again. We camped at Sennebec Lake Campground in a Motorhome.
The upside: Friendly staff, clean bathrooms, hot showers, beautiful lake views, and loons on
the lake. The downside: too many seasonals, too many golf carts, and not enough shade on waterfront sites. There were two incidents of loud swearing by
nearby campers, which were quieted after a short time. One seasonal behind us was in the process of renovating, complete with circular saw and hammering. It
was a good getaway with our friends, but I doubt we'd stay again. We camped at Sennebec Lake Campground in a Tent Trailer.
Upside; Friendly owners & campers, Clean restrooms. Downside; Too much golf cart traffic.(the owners cart spews as much gas into the air as it burns) Too many seasonals, Sites too tight for our taste, We camped at Sennebec Lake Campground in a camper.Undo
