This was our second stay here this year. We love this campground and find the owners and staff to be extremely friendly and helpful and very easy to talk to. We were in a newer transient site this trip and at first it was a bit difficult to get into but on the second try the trailer went right in. We were on the street side and you get a little road noise but other than that it was a great site and the rest of the campground was very quiet as always. Had hope to swim but it was too cold so we mostly sat and burnt wood. We really enjoy the atmosphere and everything this campground offers. There are many seasonal sites here with trailers or park models and we are considering getting on the waiting list for a site. We shall see about that but we will definitely be back next year. We camped at Red Apple Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This is a very nice well kept RV Park. About 6 or 8 pull through sites for large rigs. Most the the sites in the park have permanent mobile homes. The Owner will deliver steamed lobster to your site!! Great service. We camped at Red Apple Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We stayed at Red Apple on 9/5 - 9/8 in a 35 Ft motorhome. Office staff was not very friendly - slight attitude of "my way or the highway." Site provided had no sewer, no cable (and too many trees for satellite reception) only 30amp electric, and water. Tight back-in site - had to ask neighbor to move his vehicle so we could maneuver into the site. Site was dirty - gritty, loose dirt for a patio. You have to admit, this was a pretty crappy site and they had the nerve to charge us $67 a nite - and won't accept credit cards! Really? We Have been traveling in Canada and the northeast all summer long and this is by far the worst Campground we have stayed in. We'll never be back. We camped at Red Apple Campground in a Motorhome.

Another great stay at Red Apple Campground for us. Usually we are here alone but this year there were 7 of us in 2 sites. We had a great time as always. We always fine the owners to be extremely friendly as are the other campers and seasonals. The campground is beautiful and well maintained and the pool is very nice and enjoyable. As expected the campground is very quiet and relaxing. The area has plenty to offer whether it is a trip to downtown Kennebunkport, a ride up the coast or a ride up or down Route 1 and all that has to offer. We will be back as we have booked a site for September as well as a weekend next year. We camped at Red Apple Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Lovely, well designed, cheerful campground. Spacious site with lots of grass and trees. Not too private with views of many park models and long stay campers but plenty of room. Heated salt water pool with "adults only" hours 4-6. Terrific wifi with enough for ALL our devices (5). Staff take great pride in maintenance and offer good suggestions for restaurants and shopping. Dog park grassy, fenced in and clean. Laundry room modern with good lighting, new machines and spotless. Very convenient to Kennebunkport and shopping. They even deliver steamed lobster to the site! Stayed 3 nights and wish we could stay longer. Not far from Kittery Outlets or Freeport Outlets for shoppers! We camped at Red Apple Campground in a Motorhome.

Kittery outlets, Freeport outlets, Kennebunkport. Ate at Federal Jacks with beautiful views from upstairs dining room overlooking harbor and good beer. Owners raved about food truck for lobster rolls. NOTE: Must pay by check or pay cash. No credit cards but worth the money to stay here. Great playground and dog park too. Would definitely stay here long term if we could. They even encourage recycling and use proceeds to donate to local childrens cancer fund.

Where to start! We had items shipped ahead as we were staying 10 days. Dog food, medications. Arrived and greeted with enthusiasm. Carried our packages to our coach. We have stayed here twice before, but it has been many years. Everything in this RV park is spotless. The owners are amazing and very helpful. There are many park models, and long term folks here but everyone is as friendly as can be. Very quiet. When we were here, we got a note that George HW Bush was coming to Walkers Point and the owners were handing out flags in Kennebunkport to wave and welcome him home. It was a once in a lifetime experience. Laundry room spotless. We have washer and dryer combo but they don't want use of personal laundry. WiFi excellent. Also a computer and printer in office if needed. Parking for tow car separate from space RV site. Picnic table in that area. I wish I could give them 10 stars. Fabulous, fabulous experience. We camped at Red Apple Campground in a Motorhome.

This RV Park sets the standard for what RV Parks should be. The owners provided us with a full hook up pull through site right next to our daughter's family who were renting a cabin in the park. The entire RV Park is well maintained and a very pleasant place to stay while visiting the area. The RV Park is well situated making it easy to get to most of the popular attractions in the area. In addition to the many beaches and area attractions there are many activities to keep you busy in the RV Park. All of the facilities including the restrooms, showers, laundry room, rec hall, and pool are clean and easy to use. The store is well stocked and the staff is very pleasant and helpful. The roads are all paved and easy to navigate. There are many park models and cabins in the park and they are all well maintained. The owners and staff are constantly monitoring the park for maintenance issues and conversing with the campers. I would definitely recommend Red Apple Campground to anyone planning to visit the Kennebunkport area. I didn't see many empty campsites during our stay so I would recommend making reservations early if you plan to stay in this RV Park. We camped at Red Apple Campground in a Motorhome.

This campground has quickly become one of our favorites. The owners are extremely friendly and the campground is clean and beautiful. Staff is out and about making sure everything is picked up and clean. It is very quiet here which is what we look for on many weekends. Peaceful and relaxing is the key to us having a good weekend. The pool was wonderful and the store had everything we needed. The only negative that I can say is that at times the wifi was deathly slow but other than that we had the best time here. This park is awesome. Beautifully kept up. The owner and his wife are very friendly and go out of their way to help you if needed. On 2 nights we had fresh cooked lobster delivered to our site! Yummy. Owner delivers in his vintage red "Lobstah" truck. And it was extremely reasonably priced. When we were leaving we had issues with rig and he and his wife helped us by calling several local places to check for part we needed. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Would stay here again and have lobster delivered again! We camped at Red Apple Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a well manicured campground among the woods. Sites are paved and level. Each has a picnic table and fire pit. The owners are on site and very accommodating. Multiple employees keep the campground in very good condition. Power was good. Wifi signal was strong. Verizon signal was good. Full hookups are available but too wooded for satellite access. W&E sites where a satellite signal is available are $65 with tax. We camped at Red Apple Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a very, very nice campground. Pride in ownership is visible throughout the park. The grounds and buildings are in great shape as are the large numbers of park trailers on the property. Access is easy for back-in and pull-through sites. It has all the typical recreational amenities. We camped at Red Apple Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This park is clean and well maintained. The wi-fi and cable worked great. The owners and staff were very friendly. The restrooms were clean and had private, lockable shower stalls, but the mats were very uncomfortable (like stepping on Legos). I recommend wearing some flip-flops or water shoes. You also have to push a button every 60 seconds to keep the shower running. The best part is that you can have whole cooked lobsters delivered right to your door at 5:30 every night! They were delicious! We camped at Red Apple Campground in a Motorhome.
