Very clean campground but very dusty and unfortunately our site was right next to a dirt road. No shade in most of the pull through sites. It's very quiet, though. Not very outgoing personalities in the office but maybe that just a Maine trait? Great WiFi reception and performance. We camped at Shore Hills Campground and RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

Be aware. No credit cards. Cash or personal check - no problem with us. Great Campground for Big Rigs! We were disappointed we could not get one of the nice pull-thru's but a Newell Coach Club had them reserved (18 Coaches). It was very interesting and entertaining to see these multimillion dollar Motor homes. We had a easy to park back-in. Level gravel - only negative is the Wi-Fi is weak. Booth Bay harbor is a short distance and there is a guy close by that will cook lobsters and bring them to you. Lots of amenities. We camped at Shore Hills Campground and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

Easy access to and in the park with our larger RV. Pricey for an off-season mid-week stay; cash or check only. Park operates a shuttle to Boothbay Harbor ($2 per person) that's probably a good deal during the busy season. We would stay here again. Loved this campground. Sites are large and grassy, with wooden decks and trash cans. Wi-Fi and cable are wonderful. The CG is close to everything you could want. They have a shuttle to Boothbay Harbor running throughout the day. It was wonderful! We camped at Shore Hills Campground and RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

Our 14th year coming for 2-3 weeks at Shore Hills. (Surprised to see 2 campers rated it as a 3.. We all know that some people are hard to please and always look at the glass as half-empty. I think they are dead wrong.) Great WiFi and 50 amp power. I would rate it a 10 but for the gravel roads. We travel 12-15,000 miles every year and this is one of a handful of parks that we come back to. Rate reflects Good Sam Discount. We camped at Shore Hills Campground and RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

Nice large RV campground on state highway 27 with easy access and no traffic noise. Gravel main and site roads. Park has both wooded areas and open sites. Open area sites have both pull-through and back-in and are very wide, long and level with table, fire rings, 30 & 50 amp. Park well maintained. Some of the wooded sites don’t have sewer, but the larger open sites have sewer. Dump station also available. Unprotected Wi-Fi signal at open sites. Satellite signal on open sites, good Verizon cell, 4G signals, poor TV antenna signals, but good cable. Pool and rec center, store and scheduled activities. Staff friendly and helpful. Very nice and would stay there again. Cost is Good Sam weekly rate during peak season. We camped at Shore Hills Campground and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo
Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $51.00
Clean well groomed campground. Site was a back-in full-hookup gravel on grass with wood deck patio. Utilities are located toward the rear of the site within easy reach and worked as designed. This site was not level and the levelers sank into the ground due to the limited amount gravel. The sites in this area all need much more gravel to make them more level and stable. No pool or swimming area, no organized activities during the week. As mentioned in a previous review these sites are overpriced for what you get. The posted rate reflects our GS discount. Our packed gravel pull thru was clean, level and long enough to park the tow in front or behind. The water pressure and WiFi were good. The overall park was clean with trash cans at each site. Recycle and poop cans were close by. We camped at Shore Hills Campground and RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

Spent two nights here. Good campground if you choose the wooded areas. Parking lot with sun if you do not. We had a large site with stone base. Extra $$$ if you want a site close to the water. Close to the restroom. Those were clean. The only negative I have is the stalls were very small. Almost impossible to navigate without scrapping your nose. Office staff was helpful. We would return when in the area. We camped at Shore Hills Campground and RV Park in a Tent Trailer.Undo

Very disappointed in this park. Staff just OK. Staff was rude to our friends that are local and went to check out the park prior to our arrival. 90% of RVs are permanent. Only 5 rigs when we arrived at pull-throughs and only 1 left when we departed. Too expensive for what you get. Nothing to look at but trees. Tent camping has the best sites on water. Pull-throughs are not even close to water or views. Would not stay here again unless desperate. We were looking for 1 month park and this park is way too expensive! $1100.00/MO. Left after 3 days. We make Shore Hills Campground our "home when we are in Maine. It is easy drive from up and down the coast of Maine. Shore Hills has every type of RV camp site you need. From pull throughs to shady sites. We had a back in site that had gravel for parking the MH and grass for the dogs. They are very dog friendly which we enjoy. The owners are extremely nice as are the work kampers and make you feel welcome. Cable TV is excellent and great cell service. We continue to return here because it offers everything we are looking for in a campground. We camped at Shore Hills Campground and RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

Nice long pull through's with hard surface. Good utilities. Sure that it would be a good place to spend a few days but we just used it as an overnight stop when visiting a friend in the area. Would return again if in the area. We camped at Shore Hills Campground and RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $46.00
OK campground. The best thing is the shuttle that goes to Boothbay Harbor just 3-1/2 miles away. It's a direct run and doesn't stop anywhere else, which is nice! Takes no more than 10 minutes. Office staff was nice and pleasant. We had a back in site in the wooded area with full hookup. It was quiet at night which is VERY important to us. I was just expecting a little nicer campground by all the write ups. There wasn't anything wrong with the place, just a regular campground. Yes, I would return. This is a fantastic campground in the heart of Maine. The sites were big and level with your choice of either shaded/wooded, on the water, or up near the road. Wi-fi was excellent. We were in the very end of the campground far from the office & road and had a perfect signal all weekend. They offer a shuttle into Boothbay Harbor for $2.00 which beats trying to park down town. All facilities were well kept and clean. We camped at Shore Hills Campground and RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

The only unpaved road in the park is the big rig loop, which makes no sense. It is extremely dusty and dirty in the big rig section. The worst we have seen all season. Also, in my 25+ years of camping, they have the rudest staff I have met. Many other guests agreed. The back in sites on one side are decent, but the ones along the other side are very sloped. The pull through sites in the middle of the loop are very close to each other. We will not stay here again. We camped at Shore Hills Campground and RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo
