This park was excellent. We stayed 4 nights on site 121 while attending a wedding nearby. The staff was super helpful and incredibly friendly and accommodating. The lots were clean and very well cared for with a trash receptacle at every site so we didn't have to lug trash to a dumpster. Hookups were in good shape, electrical was great. Site was pretty level (gravel). We were in a pull through area but walked the CG a few times and enjoyed walking out onto the island which was very secluded and quiet and we watched Ospreys catching fish and blue heron feeding. The Wifi was excellent at our site. Site 121 was nice as most of the pull throughs were completely in the open, but that site has morning sun, but shaded by a row of trees in the afternoon. The pull throughs have a decent lawn area but are closer than most of the back ins, but not so close you can pass a cup of sugar from your slideout to a neighbor like some CG's. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Shore Hills Campground and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Boothbay Harbor is a beautiful and quaint Maine coastal town. Have a meal at the "Boathouse" downtown and sit on the open deck on 3rd floor and enjoy the harbor view while enjoying their peach sangria. Lots of interesting shops to visit down town Boothbay Harbor. The Botanical Gardens are also not to be missed! Whale watch tours are available. Take a ride south to Southport Island for some kodak moments too.

Pleasant park with adequate space of longer rigs, slightly above average wifi, good water pressure and electric. Were there (5) days and would stay again if in the area. Lots to do/see in Boothbay and surrounding area. We camped at Shore Hills Campground and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Park was gated, had a wooded section and a more open section with pull thrus for big rigs. Cable & Wifi worked fine. We were in a back in site in the open area the site was short and hard to back into because of the trash cans and little room to maneuver, since the area was full of big rigs with trailers. We didn't know about being in the rally area beforehand! The group was fine until it came the morning they started leaving at 4 A.M.!! and the Rig Cleaning Crew started power washing around 7 A.M. Try sleeping through that :( We camped at Shore Hills Campground and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Beautiful heavily wooded back in site was tight but OK. After Labor Day it is quiet so we really had a nice visit. All is as advertised and definitely would stay here again. On main road to Boothbay Harbor which is quaint and friendly. Lots of good eating in the area. We camped at Shore Hills Campground and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a fairly large campground. We stayed in the area with 50 amp service and full hook-ups. This area is an open area with lots of sun, although we chose a back-in site that had trees behind us and provided afternoon shade. The site was level and of adequate size. Other parts of the campground are wooded but many of the sites would be difficult for big rigs. Most of the big rigs I saw were in our area.

The campground is about 10 minutes from Boothbay Harbor and all the activities, shops, and restaurants that it provides. The campground is a great choice for this part of the Maine Coast. We camped at Shore Hills Campground and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

A visit to the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, which is 8 min away, is a must! The gardens are fantastic!

Also, would highly recommend the Cabbage Island Clambakes. You get a short boat cruise to their island and then a great dinner with massive quantities of food. Very enjoyable. We did the evening cruise that they do on weekends.

This campground is set on a hillside, with a beautiful water view at the bottom of the hill and a babbling brook going down the south side of the park. These sites in the wooded hillside are for 30 amp or less and smaller rigs. We needed full hookups and 50 amp so we were in in the open field close to the highway. Noise from the highway was not too objectionable since the pond has a fountain that mostly disguises the road traffic noise. The park is well maintained with paved and hard gravel roads. The sites are level and also gravel. Most seem free from overhanging branches. Some of the turns are a little tight but with care and calculating are fine. The camp is only 3 miles to town and they have a shuttle. We camped at Shore Hills Campground and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Good Sam discount. Big rig friendly with spacious sites. Cable was good. Wi-Fi didn't work - the staff said it was because of the number of people. There was only one shower in each bathroom and it was very small. The dog park was good and very big. There were three washers and three dryers which worked well. We camped at Shore Hills Campground and RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice, clean campground located near Boothbay. Long pull through sites with good utilities. Wifi actually works! Since we were here in the off season, there was plenty of room so they left an empty space between the units as they assigned spaces. I did notice that if there were a unit beside us, we would be very close to their utility( sewer) connections while using our patio area. This could be a problem but wasn't during our stay. The park is well cared for and very clean. They have a water fountain, and there are benches places at strategic places throughout the park. There is an island connected by a foot path that has a rocky point extending out into the bay. Its a nice place to sit on one of those strategically placed benches. The park is secure with gated card entry. Roads are mostly paved with gravel pads. The back in sites in the wooded area are very nice also. Site #24 is huge and has its own New England stone wall. If ever in this area again, I would not hesitate to stay here. Good job! We camped at Shore Hills Campground and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Easy access to and in the park with our larger RV. Pricey for an off-season mid-week stay; cash or check only. Park operates a shuttle to Boothbay Harbor ($2 per person) that's probably a good deal during the busy season. We would stay here again. We camped at Shore Hills Campground and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Loved this campground. Sites are large and grassy, with wooden decks and trash cans. Wi-Fi and cable are wonderful. The CG is close to everything you could want. They have a shuttle to Boothbay Harbor running throughout the day. It was wonderful! We camped at Shore Hills Campground and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Be aware. No credit cards. Cash or personal check - no problem with us. Great Campground for Big Rigs! We were disappointed we could not get one of the nice pull-thru's but a Newell Coach Club had them reserved (18 Coaches). It was very interesting and entertaining to see these multimillion dollar Motor homes. We had a easy to park back-in. Level gravel - only negative is the Wi-Fi is weak. Booth Bay harbor is a short distance and there is a guy close by that will cook lobsters and bring them to you. Lots of amenities. We camped at Shore Hills Campground and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice large RV campground on state highway 27 with easy access and no traffic noise. Gravel main and site roads. Park has both wooded areas and open sites. Open area sites have both pull-through and back-in and are very wide, long and level with table, fire rings, 30 & 50 amp. Park well maintained. Some of the wooded sites don’t have sewer, but the larger open sites have sewer. Dump station also available. Unprotected Wi-Fi signal at open sites. Satellite signal on open sites, good Verizon cell, 4G signals, poor TV antenna signals, but good cable. Pool and rec center, store and scheduled activities. Staff friendly and helpful. Very nice and would stay there again. Cost is Good Sam weekly rate during peak season. We camped at Shore Hills Campground and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
