What this park has going for it is the view. You are right at the Bay of Fundy. The negative is that while they advertise a restaurant, it no longer is operational. The roads are tight - sand and gravel - and the sites if you want a view are almost on top of one another. We would not stay here again. We camped at Seaview Campground, Cottages and Motel in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

If you go and I don't really recommend it but if you do, visit Campebello and New Brunswick. There is a good seafood market in Eastport so if you like to cook your own lobster go to it.

This ranks among this highest price campsites we've visited, but I can't in good conscious ding them about it. It's a relatively remote location with very nice grounds in a business that only makes the owners money during the summer season. The WiFi was very good for us. The grounds are divided into 3 areas. There is a loop at the bottom with several sites immediately along the shore, another area called The Birches that are up the hill mostly in view of the bay and in the trees. Both have analog cable TV and FHU. Further up is an open grassy area with FHU, but no cable. The prices vary with location. The ones closest to the shore are "cozy". Many of the sites were close to level, others required several boards. There are a mix of transient and seasonal campers. Our Verizon phone worked fine here, but our friend's ATT would only connect to a Canadian tower which is pricey if your plan doesn't include Canadian service. Expect some days to be bright and sunny then quickly watch the fog roll in. Our site was a backin with our door and dinette facing the bay and dock maybe 15' from the water's edge at high tide, with a rocky beach at low tide, not a mud flat. I would enjoy coming back for a week some time. We camped at Seaview Campground, Cottages and Motel in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Deer Island in New Brunswick is about 1/2 mile on the other side. There is a small car ferry that crosses several times a day to the southern end & the island offers a alt route to Canada bypassing Calais. While we were here the tides were running about 23' with a New Moon. It's very dark here at night. We saw a charter fishing boat tie up at the dock late afternoons and one of our neighbors had scheduled a fishing trip. Nearby, Quoddy Lobster was a great place to have lunch.

Sorry to say that I could not get onto a level lot. If so, I would have stayed a couple more days, but as it turned out the park was full because of the holiday week and I was out of luck. All of the choice sites were taken and I was basically in an overflow area with a grass and soft base site, but it did have full hookup with sewer. Anyways, the park is big rig friendly and the staff was great. I would stay here again. We camped at Seaview Campground, Cottages and Motel in a Motorhome.

The waterfront sites have lovely scenery of the Passamaquoddy Bay and Canadian islands Deer and Campobello. We parked "wrong way" to the utilities to get the best view. Extreme leveling with several boards put the front wheels in the air. Wifi was poor and Verizon unavailable except for a Canadian signal available to users of the company's international service. The Old Sow whirlpool (ask at the office for a map) can be seen a couple hours before high tide from rocks a short hike away. It was barely discernible the day we looked but several small "piglets" twirled sticks and seaweed around for a minutes at a time. The campground's onsite restaurant closes after Labor Day. We camped at Seaview Campground, Cottages and Motel in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Eastport is an old fishing town emerging as a tourist destination. There was a salmon festival the Sunday before Labor Day and a Pirate Festival set for the following weekend. Lobster are offloaded at the wharf a few feet from the picnic tables at the Quoddy Bay Lobster restaurant, an excellent seafood place. A lot of the town's restaurants close or reduce schedules from mid-September until spring.

We were traveling through and wanted to stay one night. However, due to some "Special Event" we had to reserve and pay for 2 nights. We stayed our one night as planned and left as scheduled. Expensive lesson, we won't be back. We camped at Seaview Campground, Cottages and Motel in a Motorhome.

We stayed here before and just loved it, but you can't go home again. Last time we were here it was September and there were not many people in the park, so we got a great site on the waterfront. This time the park was packed and the sites are very close together. The only thing we asked for when we made our reservation was that we face the water and we did not. We went to the office and asked to be moved, but there really wasn't anywhere to move - the park was jammed. But the staff is nice, they have a restaurant that is open on Saturdays and they have fish frys on the weekend. It is very convenient to go to Eastport. I probably would not stay here again just because the sites are so close together, but is the only option in the area. They say they have wifi, but is impossible to use - we even went up the office and it was so slow we ended up going to the library to connect. We camped at Seaview Campground, Cottages and Motel in a Fifth Wheel.

The town of Eastport is quite nice. Quaddy Bay Lobster is the BEST seafood in town. It is about a 45 minute drive to Campobello from here.

Eastport is the eastern most point in the continental USA. Site offered had blocked view of the ocean sound. Still had some view off to the side of the Class A who was right on the sound. Laundry was iffy; dryers didn't work very well. 30 minutes of free WI-FI then pay as you go. Not much to do in the small town, nice bakery and a $69 boat ride to see the whirlpool. We camped at Seaview Campground, Cottages and Motel in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice campground right on the water. Could see to Canada on the other side, farthest east you can be in the USA. Our site 9 had a wooden deck which was nice. Fire rings and grassy sites for the rest. Would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Seaview Campground, Cottages and Motel in a Motorhome.

Georgeous view of Passamaquoddy Bay and Canadian Islands (Deer, Campobello) from waterfront sites. Extremely helpful staff, particularly day clerk. Nearby lobster "pounds" have thousands of lobsters at bargain prices for those who cook on-site. Wi-Fi weak except near office; only 1st 1/2 hour free; $3/hour after that; must use all the time in one sitting. Pull-through sites have full hookups and, in waterview area, easy satellite coverage. On-site restaurant closed after Labor Day and in-town places on reduced schedule. 27' tide dramatically illustrated at local harbor. No rental cars available. We camped at Seaview Campground, Cottages and Motel in a Motorhome.

Rate is based on a month-long stay. Our grass pull-through site was level and long enough for our 40 foot RV with ample room to park our toad along side. This campground is all about location since there aren't many amenities. Beautiful view of Deer Island and Passamaquoddy Bay out our front window. We like Eastport and the surrounding area a lot. Good cable. Most sites have no trees to block satellite signal. The only down side is that there is no 3G/4G cell service in the area and cell phones connect to towers in Canada. Campground WiFi is free for 30 minutes every 24 hours and $30 for a month. It is slow at the best of times and throughput is throttled. We have been here several times and expect to return. We camped at Seaview Campground, Cottages and Motel in a Motorhome.

Nice small campground with site on water. The tides are amazing. The weather changes with the tide, warm one minute cold the next. We camped on the waterfront lots, full hookups, good 50 amp electric. The only problem we had was we sat through Hurricane Arthur, no electrical, no water, trees on roads, had to stay another day but it was free, We missed the "Bean Hole Beans" because of the hurricane, our loss. We camped at Seaview Campground, Cottages and Motel in a Motorhome.

The campground was pleasant in all aspects except for red fire ants that bite. The sites were nice, cosy next to the ocean and had big fields and small trails. Neighbors and seasonal campers were great. Bathrooms clean, nice office, with a bar. Even had an all you can eat buffet. Would like to have enjoyed it all but was stuck in the camper due to the red fire ants. I would have returned if the ants were gone. Left early without a refund!! We camped at Seaview Campground, Cottages and Motel in a Travel Trailer.

This campground has three distinctly different camping areas: a) open grassy field, b) wooded and c) grassy seaside. The seaside area has full-hookup grass sites accessed by a narrow gravel road making the back-in of a 35 foot fifth wheel a little tight, but do-able. Basic utilities are good; cable is good; Wi-Fi is slow, free for ½ hour per visit and $3/hr after that. Cell phone service in the park is from a Canadian provider. A few sites offer unobstructed views of the water and would be worth a return visit. We camped at Seaview Campground, Cottages and Motel in a Fifth Wheel.

We always stay here when we are in Eastport. Campground is excellent and the owners are outstanding people. Campground is always neat. Bar and restaurant right on property. Seasonal campers are very nice and the locals also come out as there is lots of stuff to do. Rate reflects the club rate. Will definitely stay again when in area.
