The WiFi & cable are excellent here as is the staff, who were ready to assist in any way they could. The bathrooms were very tired and outdated and needed a good deep cleaning. Showers were free. They had a Good Sam sign on the window, but no longer offer that discount. They do offer a military (including veteran) discount. The pool looked in good shape. We did not get an escort to our site, but were given the opportunity to look over sites and pick the one we wanted. Lots of mowing going on. Some 50 amp sites were available, but they did not have cable. It was a good overnight stop and we would stay again. We camped at Waltons Campground in a Travel Trailer.Undo

Small park but very friendly staff who zing relentlessly on their work quads, working, mowing, guiding and delivering wood, etc. Each new client is guided to their assigned site which is handy as the sites aren't really marked too well. We are a pretty large rig so we had to jockey around to get into and out of our spot. Priced reasonably for the amenities and nice and quiet while we visited. OK...so it's now 2010 and this campground has changed hands once again! Unfortunately, things have gone downhill...my wife calls this the "out-of-order" campground, since there is only one unisex bathroom/shower for the whole campground...the others are "out-of-order" as are the washing machines and the change machine! When I asked for a reduced rate, the friendly clerk said, "But there is ONE bathroom that works so I have to charge you full rate." Other than that, there are a lot of seasonals/permanent residents here, the Wi-Fi works well, the sites are level and graveled, and it's quiet. Needless to say, we will not be returning. We camped at Waltons Campground in a Motorhome.Undo

Campground could be better maintained and brought up to date. Staff is friendly, but there are few of them. There is a small restaurant on site, but no camp store for groceries or RV supplies. A good place to lay over for a while when traveling to or from Canada or Bar Harbor. We camped at Waltons Campground in a Motorhome.Undo
