This is one of the northernmost campgrounds in Maine that has direct access to the multitude of ATV/UTV trails. Its a beautiful spot overlooking the lake. Friendly, helpful staff. Good food & drinks at the the on-site restaurant. - User1684
Aug 2017 - $29.00
Sites very large, arranged so sewer sites together (one rig facing in, one out); large covered area for campers' use; would have given a 10 rating except for check-in which is done in bar area of restaurant & restaurant VERY busy! Should have a special check-in site for campers. The restaurant food is very good & reasonably priced.
Sites 100 and up are new, facing the lake, high on hill. Beautiful sites but must be in even number if a MH, to face in right direction. Cable not in place yet in this area but in the works; good WiFi. Must be careful with phone...may connect to Canada service so keep 'roaming' off. Only complaint is of check-in service. - Mainiac
Jun 2017 - $40.00
Many seasonal sites - they have the best views. Ours was OK but not very level. Wifi & cable good. Sewer hook up ran uphill. Registering was different - had to go into restaurant and find someone. - padre
Jul 2017 - $30.00
Very nice owner/manager, makes you feel at home. mobile fire place on wheels, free fire wood, nice ball field for kids to play and pets to run, biking trail to the community boat landing and play ground. Private bathroom with key for men and one for women. - George A Dionne
Sep 2016 - $37.00
Nice place to stay for an overnight. Lots of seasonal people and everyone had a golf cart, Kids were even driving them. It would seem that everyone knew everyone and parties moved from one site to the next, although they weren't too loud. Things noticeably settled down after the weekend. Sunny/Open, gravel site with picnic table.
Would overnight it again at this location. - Officer Bobby
Aug 2008 - $28.00
Interior roads are narrow and hard to turn rig. Most of the RVs are seasonal. Nice little restaurant Only 2 washers and 2 dryers for the whole campground and the dryers didn't heat properly. You couldn't access the dump station for the correct side of sewer on RV. We had difficulty on the roads with our 31 foot rig. The spot itself was nice and right along the river. We would not go here again. - Awesome Navigator
Sep 2007 - $27.00
A very nice campground with all the amenities one would expect. It caters mostly to seasonal campers who obviously enjoy settling here as the majority have dressed up their sites with fences, potted plants, patio lights etc. Minimal number of sites are set aside for overnighters. Staff was friendly and efficient. Would recommend to anyone passing through. - BillandEila
Aug 2018 - $28.00
Site #64 - $27.90 for a 15 amp pull-through site with senior discount. We arrived without a reservation and all we could get was a 15 amp pull-through site. There are 100 electric only sites, with campground A having 30 amp sites and campground B having the 15 amp sites. If using a GPS to locate the campground, note that it is actually in Saint-Jacques NB not Edmundston NB, exit #8 off the Trans Canada Hwy. There is a dump station near the exit of the campground. - driftdiver1

Nice sites. Well spaced for privacy. Nice fire pits and tables. - kenandterry
Jul 2017 - $27.00
Nicely wooded campground right next to route 2. Minor road noise but not bad. This was an electric only fairly private, spacious site with good water available nearby. Ironically the water supply had numerous spigots one of which was being used permanently by a seasonal - hmmmm. Major concern was an electrical issue which we had to tell them about numerous times but they did finally did get it corrected the next day. Our Progressive Industries EMS kept turning off our power due to high voltage - 136/137!!!! Glad we had it - paid for itself! - Breezy2

It is funny how different reviews can be. I went back to make sure I was reviewing the same park! Beautiful shaded to open park. We stayed in a 30a full hook up. A little odd the 50a in the part that's open weren't full hook up, but OK. Great water pressure. Good wifi with park about 60%, wonderful almost empty. The camp hosts, that accept payment (cash or check) and, take you to your site, and assist with back-in... were friendly and wonderful. We were at the end of the small park, site 14, VERY level. These sites are on the small side, but we set up our clam at the end, very open nice view. Our site backed up to an manicured open area about the size of a small soccer field. The park was spotless. The park was quiet. There was an occasional train rumble, but muffled and distanced, we enjoy that sound. We absolutely recommend and will be back on the next Canada trip!!! We rated a 9, however, we love nature, don't care for the "resort" type park. We bring all the amenities we need. - Texanmark
Sep 2018 - $40.00
The park is a nice location for an overnight stop when traveling E-W along the southern part of Canada. The park, however, is worth avoiding. The majority of the sites do not have sewer and even when you do, they do not allow you to do laundry in your RV. The sites are gravel and very long with many trees providing shade for the area. The water pressure is so low that we had to take showers with our pump and fresh water tank. They advertise wifi, but it did not work at all even with most of the sites empty. We would recommend avoiding this campground. See our updates, reviews and pictures at our blog at thegilliamsisland. - Gary Gilliam
Jul 2018 - $35.00
Clean park and hosts were friendly. We were put at far end of campsite in an non-level spot where there is no wifi. Campground was not full and did not have to be put at far end. Poor placement for us - Mike Collins
Jul 2008 - $39.00
Nice quiet park right on a lake. Over 50 sites but never saw more than 10 campsites occupied. The park just joined the KOA network and is currently converting to KOA. Formerly called Watersedge RV. Very friendly people. Has three pull throughs and there was always at least one available. Park has full hookups, 30 and 50 amps as well as a couple tent sites, boat, kayak rental, laundry and sleeper cabins. Watch out for moose. It is very, very common to see moose crossing the road right near the park every morning and evening. - globemaster
Jul 2008 - $34.00
Because of the last posting on this site we chose to come here. We are very happy we did. Large sites, good big rig access, washing the coach and toad is okay, satellite friendly, good water and power. A true northwoods experience. The lake is very pretty and does not reflect its name - Mud Lake. General store in the area is well stocked as is the local farmer's stand. This is a great place to spend a few days or weeks. For families it seems fine with swimming in the lake being a favorite. We hope to return soon. - grids
Aug 2018 - $35.00
This is a beautiful little park with nice sized sites. Like many Canadian parks there are a lot of seasonal campers. These folks really keep their rigs looking nice. We would have stayed additional nights if we had time. - USA in a Chevrolet
Jun 2016 - $20.00
Stopped for the night at this campground and used the Passport America pricing. At $20/night it is priced correctly but would think twice about staying at their full rate price ($40/night is a little steep for this campground in our opinion).
A small campground with seasonal campers and overnight sites. Pull-through (2 way service) and back-in sites (3 way service). Campground is well maintained and clean. Ample sized grassy sites, with some trees. Noticed there was a pool onsite but it wasn't ready for swimmers (no water in it) but we visited in mid June so the season was just starting up in the area. - Canadian Travellers
Sep 2015 - $16.00
Stayed overnight on the way to PEI but would certainly stay again for longer and would recommend this campsite to others.
The owner/managers were very pleasant and helpful and allowed me to print off a large number of personal documents on the office printer without charge.
Our pull through site was level and grassy with lots of room and the water pressure was fine. - 2onthemove
