It was so quiet in the park like at 8 p.m., it was so nice. Lady's at front desk very nice. And talk about clean around park and bathrooms very nice. Best campground I ever stayed in. There were lots of dogs there, but very quiet. We camped at Pumpkin Patch RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Very nice park for visiting Bangor area, obvious because all the RV Adventure Tour groups use it. There was also an Escapee Rally and Cedar Creek Reunion during our time...busy place! Wonderful people and good restaurant next door that delivers to your coach. Everything worked great and an ice cream social! We camped at Pumpkin Patch RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice RV Park, not really a Resort. People and Work Campers are very friendly. Staff is on top of things and are efficient. We paid the monthly rate of $745 for a 50 amp FHU pull thru site with cable. The cable lineup was average. They now have propane available and we filled up at $2.65 a gallon. Site was a gravel / dirt and mostly level with back to front slope, the actual pad area was fairly level. Sites are very good sized here. The wifi varied with the time of day. It could really bog down at times. But early in the am I found it to be very good. The only negitive here was the roads could be very dusty at times. Other than that we had a very nice stay and would return again. We camped at Pumpkin Patch RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Eagles Nest in Brewer has the best lobster roll of the many we had during our 5 weeks in Maine. Sea Dog has the best Happy Hour, 3 - 6, 7 days a week at the bars only. Their own brews are very good. For some outstanding Fish n Chips head up to Woodman's in Orono. The Black Bear Brewery is also worth a stop there.

This is a nice park with long pull through's, and good utilities including wifi and cable that work well. Only issue was dusty gravel roads. They have nice landscaping throughout. We camped at Pumpkin Patch RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This is by far one of the nicest parks we have stayed in. Huge pull-through full hookup sites, and very level. Very friendly staff. Close to many sights of Maine without being in the crowds! About an hour out of Bar Harbor, & Acadia National Park. WiFi is very good, and so is cable. Just a really pleasant experience! We camped at Pumpkin Patch RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We visited the Orono Bog. It is a nice walk and informational. There is a golf course just down the street and a restaurant within walking distance of the park. They deliver meals inside the park.

If you're looking for a park in the Bar Harbor, Acadia N.P. area that gets you out of all the hustle and bustle of those busy areas, then look no further than the Pumpkin Patch. Quiet, very clean, well manicured park will have you coming back time after time. Their staff is extremely helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable to help you with all your Maine needs. Wide, long gravel sites with plenty of room so your not on top of your neighbor. Not really a "family oriented" park, but there are some lawn games to play and also a pool table. No park is perfect, but the Patch is as close as it gets. We camped at Pumpkin Patch RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Rate is weekly. Located just outside of Bangor, in Hermon, this is a great base to explore the area. We had a long, gravel pull-through with excellent utilities and open sky for satellite. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. They have directions to all of there attractions printed and waiting in the office. We camped at Pumpkin Patch RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

The small cafe located in front of the park had a very good breakfast. Acadia National Park is about an hour away and was a very beautiful place. With this park, we have now visited all in the continental USA! Have the tea and popovers at Jones Pond in the park. Bar Harbor is adjacent to Acadia, there were no crowds when we were there, but I can imagine a zoo there on summer weekends!

Nice clean park. Great pull through sites for our 40' motorhome and tow. No need to unhook if you're not staying long. Price included FHU, pull thru with cable and wifi. The wifi worked well but did slow in the evenings, however we had no issues. The restaurant in front of the campground had great breakfasts. Would definitely stay here again if in the area. I would have rated it a ten, but I hate outdoor laundries. Personal preference. We camped at Pumpkin Patch RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a wonderful small campground, friendly & helpful staff who are very accommodating. Our site was crushed stone and fairly level. Hookups were good but power did fluctuate down as low as 111 when everyone had their AC on. Wifi is free but varied greatly in speed. Grounds were very clean and well kept.

While the name says resort, it's more like a park in that there is no pool or jacquzzi or playgrounds. But it was very quiet as well, not drawing a ton of kids since they didn't have the amenities mentioned. The quiet setting worked well for us!

We were here the whole month of August 2016. They hosted an Escapees Northeast chapter rally during our stay which was great since we belong! They were super about receiving mail and packages from Amazon, etc.

Power fluctuated from as low as 111 during high AC run times in hot weather to 126 (have a digital meter in the coach to monitor). We did have our 50Amp breaker switch fail on site 11 while here, but as soon as we brought to their attention, it was replaced in minutes and all was well. The monthly rate included electricity and was very reasonable at $24.05/night. We also got about 100 channels of free cable TV which was very nice. A local propane truck came through on Wednesdays to fill coaches.

We also enjoyed a nice ice cream social put on by the management as well as other events they have too. All in all a very friendly park without the things that draw a ton of little kids. The mean age was well over 60 from our estimation.

Many sites are in the open but a few have some shade. We camped at Pumpkin Patch RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

This park is very handy to Bangor and all it has to offer (tons of restaurants, movies, shopping about any store you'd want), and about 1 hour away from Bar Harbor. If you take exit 180 off I-95 (Colebrook Rd), Dysarts truckstop is a great place to top off fuel and also has a great restaurant. There's also a nice little restaurant right out in front of the RV park.
