Older park with lots of grass between sites. Utilities were fine and site was satellite useable. The fishing pond had microscopic trout, as far as we could tell. The Park is very close to a US/Canadian border crossing. Check out local activities: the Potato Festival had lobster (and potatoes) for $15 with a band playing afterwards with locals dancing along. Chicken the next night at the Fire Department Fundraiser was tough. Hiking and bike paths available. The hiking trails at Aroostook State Park were pretty tough for older folks. Check out the world's largest scale model of our planetary system, starting with the formerly furthest planet, Pluto, at the Houlton Visitors Center. Nearby Hartland, New Brunswick, had "the world's longest covered bridge" but it was closed to automobile traffic. Gourmet restaurant Wine 'Til Nine is only open Thursdays and Fridays but well worth a visit for a night out. We camped at My Brother's Place Campground in a Motorhome.

Best grass I ever saw in a park. One could almost go barefoot. Good wifi. Sat friendly sites. Sadly the restrooms were abysmal...the dreaded low round toilets...and stall walls and inside door that had something gross growing on them. Who ever cleans them must never go all the way in, close the door and look at the enclosure. Really bad. Would never go back. We camped at My Brother's Place Campground in a Motorhome.

Our second time to this park, before going into Canada, and returning from Canada after 1 month. Park-like setting, playground, clean camp restrooms.Large pull thrus with plenty of room for big rigs (45') and tow vehicles, full hook ups, picnic tables and fire rings. We would return when in the area. Paved roads, grass sites, mostly level, no dust! Highway 1 noise can be heard if you are in a tent or a light camper. The highway is generally quiet during the night. Ask owners for restaurant recommendations. We camped at My Brother's Place Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Convenient location to Houlton and I95. Walmart, restaurants, Irving Big Stop, hotels, Hannaford grocery, Maine Visitors center, all within 3 miles of the campground. Houlton downtown is about 10 min away from the campground.

Traveling in a 43ft Class A with 4 slides and tow vehicle. Stayed here twice while entering/exiting Canada. Campground conveniently located near the Canadian border. Entrance road was a little tight for a big rig with tow with the curves and trees but manageable. No frills campground but a great place to stop over. Sites are long, wide and mostly level but did have to park a little diagonal for leveling. All grass sites but no issues even with heavy rains. Good Direct TV satellite signal but there was no AT&T cell service and wifi was weak. Full hookup sites and all utilities were good and conveniently located. Some reviews indicated that the owner/host was rude but we encountered just the opposite. He was straight to the point but polite. We camped at My Brother's Place Campground in a Motorhome.

Nice Campground. 3-4 miles from I-95. Houlton has a very pretty downtown area. Large pull thru sites. Spotty WiFi and no cable. Very few OTA channels. Be careful driving on the campground roads, very narrow and you have tree limbs to deal with. We camped at My Brother's Place Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

My wife & I spent a night here in our 35 ft 5th wheel traveling back to Maine from Nova Scotia. This is a nice place, very convenient and the owners were very nice & helpful. We had a big pull through 3-way site. Good bathrooms/showers (free). We were able to use our Dish satellite TV. We would definitely return here. We camped at My Brother's Place Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Good Sam rate for a one night stay. Site was pull-through, level, grass, FHU with 50 amp. There was some highway noise, but it was not disturbing. We had good Verizon cell and internet reception and good DishTV satellite reception. Easy access from the highway, but road to the registration office is narrow. We would stay here again on our travels to and from Canada. We camped at My Brother's Place Campground in a Motorhome.

The road into the park is narrow but manageable with our 36' with toad. The sites are nice, grassy sites that are large and level with some shade. All services worked good, only a couple of channels on antenna. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We didn't use the restrooms or showers since this was just a over night stop. The campground is close to everything you need and 3 miles from the Canadian boarder. Cell service was good and wifi was great.

We don't like the way the pull thrus are setup: your neighbor is setup up facing you. We like all pull thrus going the same way, just one man's opinion. We'd stay here again if passing thru. We camped at My Brother's Place Campground in a Motorhome.

Very nice well maintained park. Pull sites were large but facing your neighbor with little room between sites. For the price showers should have been free to use but that was not the case. Needed quarters to use the showers. Don't know how long you get for a quarter a we didn't use them. We camped at My Brother's Place Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed July 11-12 and July 26-27 on our way to Canada and back out. Beautifully manicured, with spacious sites. Nice quiet park with ponds. Mosquitoes, but use repellent and you're fine. Would definitely stay here again if in the area. We camped at My Brother's Place Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Long pull through site. Family friendly with ponds, playground, etc. The lady in the office gave us a southern facing site for our dish but there were two tall trees right there. We got it to work by putting it in an empty site next to us. She said it was ok since she didn't have anyone else coming in. Wifi worked at our site. Nice walking trails. We were just there one night. We camped at My Brother's Place Campground in a Motorhome.

Nice long grass pull through sites. Lots of green areas including trails in woods. No cable, wifi poor, slow Verizon data, difficult getting Dish. Park was quiet, although not many were there. Pleasant owners. Bring your bug spray as the mosquitoes are pentiful. We camped at My Brother's Place Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a beautifully green & quiet park. It is convenient to the Canadian border- just 3 miles away. The owners are friendly & helpful. It is wooded but open enough to make satellite easy to pick up. There is WiFi but no cable. Water pressure was low but manageable. The town of Houlton is quiet with a few chain restaurants- Mc Donald's, Burger King, Pizza Hut, Dunkin Donuts, Subway & Tim Horton. There is a Walmart & a grocery store. There are some local stores & a quaint downtown. We would stay here again when crossing into Canada. We camped at My Brother's Place Campground in a Motorhome.
