Really liked this campground though I didn't expect to after our wacky entry off I-95 and the back roads we encountered. We took one look at the recommended track and said, no way. Turns out we were wrong and should have followed the campground directions. Ross Road is not as bad as it looks, go ahead and take the turn. Stayed in a pull through with a small turnout for our car, just couldn't be better. Try to get a pull through if you're a big rig, but you can also get a back in with 30 amp. Most of the property seems to be seasonal but so nicely kept you'll be very pleased. And couldn't ask for a more pleasant front office staff. No pool, although we weren't looking for it in October. Close to Kennebunkport and all the restaurants and shopping there. Don't miss this one. We camped at Red Apple Campground in a Motorhome.Undo

This is a very clean and well cared for campground. It is quiet and well situated just outside of Kennebunkport. Interior roads and campsite pads are paved. Spacing is very adequate but not overly long for big rigs. We camped here in a 40 RV and had very little space for our tow vehicle. The biggest drawback is it is cash or check only, no credit cards. It has lots of trees so satellite is difficult. The Wi-Fi is reasonable at our site. We would probably stay here again. We camped at Red Apple Campground in a Motorhome.Undo

I will make this very short. This is an excellent place to stay. This CG is squeaky clean. Staff members ride around all day making sure the place is clean. The location makes it very easy to visit Wells, Kennebunk and Saco. This place comes highly recommended. We camped at Red Apple Campground in a Motorhome.Undo

This is one of the nicest campgrounds that we have stayed in, and we have camped over the whole USA. Very clean everywhere--showers, restrooms, campsites. Paved roads and pads, with good sized lots in between sites with nice grass. Owners very helpful and available. The owner even loaned me a walking stick. Located near to most of south Maine. The only reason that I would not be so complimentary is for fear that it would be full the next time in the area. We camped at Red Apple Campground in a Motorhome.Undo

Outstanding in every way. Not a single issue. I knew it was going to be great when I met Rocky, the Campground Dog, sitting at the check-in table. I have stayed at "Coach Resorts". This beats them all yet is for tent campers to Prevosts. Beautiful, manicured grass everywhere. Owners and staff constantly tending the grounds and taking care of guests. VERY friendly and helpful. Attention to the smallest of details yet unobtrusive...you don't feel like you are being watched for infractions. Dog park is manicured with a holder for campground-supplied toys. Nice dog bowl always full of fresh water. Seasonal rigs are spotless and the owners very hospitable. Quiet! Very pet friendly yet heard no dogs and no poop anywhere. Very nice and expensive gas BBQs placed throughout the park for guest use. Nice fire rings with grill on every site. Huge gathering/meeting room in the office. Excellent free Wi-Fi. Very convenient to Kennebunkport. I could go on but you get the picture. This is the best campground we have ever stayed in. We camped at Red Apple Campground in a Motorhome.Undo

We stayed here 3 nights. Very nice park and all blacktop. Constant mowing and tidying up. Spotless! Plus you order lobster in the morning and it gets delivered right to your door around 5:30. It's cheap, too! They do this as a courtesy, not to make money. We were in C-3 which was a little tight for our 36' to back in and pull out. Otherwise, the site was wide and accommodating. Very friendly We camped at Red Apple Campground in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

This is a very neat, well run park. Paved sites everywhere. But for $60/night it would be nice to have cable and sewer, not have to choose between the two. The sites are really too close together for us. Laundry was very nice, but no pool. We camped at Red Apple Campground in a Travel Trailer.Undo

Efficient, helpful, friendly staff. Very clean, well maintained the owners have thought of everything including leveling boards. Handy to Kennebunkport and surrounding areas. Extremely quiet with sites large enough to not feel squeezed in. Internet works well and much appreciated! Many permanent residence, all clean and well landscaped the only unusual thing is that often a camper or two are placed between permanent sites. Laundry is clean with 4 washers and dryers but, only 3 were in service during our visit. We stayed here in a motor home, towing. We camped at Red Apple Campground in a Motorhome.Undo

Very nice campground populated with park models and very well kept. The folks are very friendly. There are about 2 dozen sites for daily rental. Easy in, easy out. Cute campground, so do not let the number of park models deter you from visiting. We will return in the future. There was one weird rule; you can not use your on board washer/dryer. Never asked the reason behind this rule. All paved sites with full hook ups. Even delivered lobster to your door. We camped at Red Apple Campground in a Motorhome.Undo

This is a great RV park that is run beautifully. Full hookups with good water pressure, consistent amps, level sites, relaxing setting and good access to beaches and this beautiful part of Maine. I would return here in a heartbeat. We camped at Red Apple Campground in a Motorhome.Undo

We arrived to friendly staff that accommodated our need for a clear sky (satellite). The campground is well-manicured and neat. Most of the campground appears to be seasonal campers that appeared to have headed south by now. The laundry room was very clean. This is a great campground for exploring the southern Maine coastal towns and beaches. There are many exceptional restaurants in the area. Would definitely stay here again. The campground is beautifully maintained. Sites are good size and the facilities are very clean. Their staff is accommodating. They are considerate enough to provide a free parking pass for those who drive into Kennebunkport. We camped at Red Apple Campground in a Travel Trailer.Undo

Would try another place next time. We felt we were sold some baloney. The best part is that it's quite close to Kennebunkport. Otherwise not my kind of place. It's a very large park, mostly semi or permanent residents which provides a different feel. The man who answered the phone first stated they didn't have space then said oh he found one. The spot they assigned us was about the worst vacant one, there were many other vacant spots which had trees and not plastered up against a manufactured home as we were. So no ambiance. The laundry facility was too small for the campground size and some washer/dryers not working, so some of us had quite a bottleneck. If you want to be close in it's fine but pick out your site. Don't be fooled by the campground website! We stayed for 10 nights in a cramped, completely overlooked campsite. When we were unhappy upon check in and asked to move just 1 spot over we were denied, yet proceeded to watch 5 other transient units come and go during the course of our stay. The owners response was to provide a pamphlet to another campground! We too, were surprised that the only form of payment was cash or cheque and had to send a cheque in advance to be converted to US funds which cost us an additional $20.00. No pool, no privacy and owners that are cocky. We will not stay here again. We camped at Red Apple Campground in a Fifth Wheel.Undo
