Laid back with a mix of seasonal and transient sites. A pleasant place to stay. Rest rooms are very clean. The shower is clean, but funky as you must reach through the water to turn on or off. (Not enough hooks or shelves). Sites are marked with lobster buoys-- very clever. Firewood (pine) is available. WiFi near the restrooms. We camped at Pemaquid Point Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Pemaquid Lighthouse. Nice picnic area and local craft store. Shaw's Seafood is a must and you can schedule a boat ride to view puffins.

We were here for two nights and would stay here again. Park is small but the sites have plenty of room. The park was quiet with no highway or train noise. The wifi worked OK but we were parked close to the office where the wifi connection is located. Water and electric were fine. There are not a lot of sites with sewer, but the dump station is convenient to the exit, plus they do have a honey wagon. The office staff was very nice. My main issue with this park, as with many parks lately, is charging for visitors even if they are only coming to our RV for a drink or snack before going out to dinner. I can understand visitors that will be in the park all day using the facilities. We camped at Pemaquid Point Campground in a Motorhome.

This campground is very much like a good state campground. Lots of trees (well trimmed),and generous size sites. There are several full hookup sites, but most are water and electric. It was about half full when we were here. Can't understand why, its a good location and nice restful campground. Many of the Maine state highways in this area are in poor repair. We camped at Pemaquid Point Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Note: We did not stay here, but would have liked to. We are offering a warning to those who are considering staying here. The issue is that the power pedestals are at the front of the site. We have a 34' travel trailer with a 25' power cord that plugs into the rear of the trailer. Most of the available sites would not have worked for us because our power cord would not have reached from the pedestal to the rear of the trailer. There was one available site that may have worked for us, but we decided to look elsewhere. The woman we met was very nice and helpful, and we felt bad for leaving. We camped at Pemaquid Point Campground in a Travel Trailer.

I arrived 2 days after the season opening and the office was closed but was left a map to find my reserved site. Unfortunately the site number markers were not out yet so I had a difficult time finding my site. They were put out the next morning :-). Very quiet campground, Manager/Owner Emily was very nice, Not all sites have 50 amp and only one site has a sewer connection, so if you are there for an extended period, you will have to use their dump station or honey wagon on Wednesday or Sunday; many sites have trees surrounding the area so if you have a roof satellite you will have a hard time getting reception. I found a site where I didn't have trouble getting reception. There wasn't wifi while I was there but was told it was being connected in the next week. This campground is within 10 miles to many local specialities, shops, outstanding lobster shacks, etc. I definitely would stay here again as long as it isn't over 4 days or so. We camped at Pemaquid Point Campground in a Motorhome.

Nice quiet park about one mile from the Pemaquid Point Lighthouse, which is obviously located on the ocean. Wooded campsites with fire rings and a playground for the kids. The park is cleaned and maintained daily. We have stayed here several times on our trips to Maine. We camped at Pemaquid Point Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

The Pemaquid Point Lighthouse is 1.2 miles down the road. About 5 miles away is the Lobsterman's Co-op where you can by fresh caught lobsters for below market prices. The Town of Damrascota is about 20 miles North and its a nice walking town that is dog friendly.

If you like a laid back, quiet setting this campground is for you. This is a small campground with very friendly staff. We were amazed at how quiet it was, we stayed 4 nights and never heard anyone camping around us. The nearby shops, kayaking, seafood, lighthouse, historic fort and beach were great. The only downside was limited WiFi (at office only) and the small number of sites with sewer. Most sites are smallish with limited privacy but ours was fantastic. We camped at Pemaquid Point Campground in a Travel Trailer.

High price for what you get. I had requested full hook-ups when I reserved but was told no sewer sites were available when we checked in. Since they don't take a deposit or confirm reservations, we had no choice but to take a site with water and electric. We had no AT&T phone or internet service, wi-if at office only. No cable TV and satellite was blocked by trees. Our site was mainly dirt and grass, little gravel. The campground is very dusty. There are a lot of old campers in poor repair. We stayed for 2 nights and left a day early. We camped at Pemaquid Point Campground in a Motorhome.

One of the nicest parks we've been in. Peaceful and quiet. Easy in and out, convenient to the lighthouse, Colonial Pemaquid and Hardy Boat tours. Many seasonals but they're neat and tidy. Antenna-TV, Verizon hotspot and phone all worked well. Good wifi at office. Neighbor told us it would have worked at our site had a large MH not been moved to a parking spot between us and the office (parking, not camping). Owner's daughter runs office.....very nice and helpful. Will definitely stay again if in area. Like the previous reviewer, we were in #7 which was easy to manage with a hard-to-maneuver 38' fifth wheel. We camped at Pemaquid Point Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

A nice family run campground at the end of Pemaquid Point. Sites are large and well maintained. Owner was very friendly and helpful. A lot of trees and a large trashcan by each site. Verizon phone and data were adequate. This is very close to the Lighthouse and several nice kayaking ponds and harbors. We had an end space #7 which was big enough for our 40 ft. MH. Dish Sat was blocked. We camped at Pemaquid Point Campground in a Motorhome.

Great park, very close to lighthouse (no views of water from campground). Let us pick our own site, gave us some free firewood. Very friendly staff and campers, many seasonal. Has handicapped access showers. Very clean restrooms and showers. We camped at Pemaquid Point Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed 2 nights while we explored the nearby coast and went on a boat trip to see puffins. There are a number of seasonal campers here and lots of activities for all ages. The restrooms are older but large and very adequate. The showers are also older, and large, 2 separate unisex single rooms. The sites are beautiful and are among tall pines. Our site was quite large and had a large fireplace. Back-in access was very easy. There are 2 large grassy playing fields, a playground, and a community center. A small store includes sale of wood for fires. We would return here if in the area again. We camped at Pemaquid Point Campground in a Travel Trailer.
