The park has a lot of seasonal park models. It's very emmaculate. Roads hard to get around. Some sites close. We camped way to the very back. Nice back in spot. The check in staff is super friendly, the owners and workers not so much. We was escorted to our site by what we believed to be the maintenance man, later to find out it could possible be the owner. He guided us backing in and our first attempt was spot on. Then he kept saying we needed over motioning which direction, so we got over. At this point I got out and and we was way to close to the electric box. He then threw his hands up in the air walked away. Went over to our friends waiting to back in their spot and to their escort saying how LONG a wait they were going to have while we got ourselves over more. Totally humiliating us right in front of them. Also lots of unessecary strict rules. Not to bash, but that's exactly what happened. 23 years of camping and never had that happen. We camped at Paradise Park Resort Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Other campgrounds in the area to choose from. This does have a super location to the beach. Which you could actually walk to. Very cozy beach town. Also central to Portland and Kennebunkport area.

Nice resort feeling, yet mainly woodsy camping sites. Ours backed up to the pool and made me happy. Bathrooms and showers are very nice as well as laundry room. Can walk to beach or take resort shuttle running every 15 minutes. Everyone very helpful and they work hard at keeping the place up. Oh and the snack bar, pizza was very good! We camped at Paradise Park Resort Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

The staff was great. This was the first time we stayed here. We didn't have reservations. The staff accommodated every request from the selected spot to renting a car, where to eat, and when we had a problem with our brake, they sent someone over to help immediately. I've always been a hotel person but I would make an exception for this place. We recommend this rv park. It was first rate. We camped at Paradise Park Resort Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We rented a car and went to surrounding towns to eat lobster and ride along the coast. There were plenty of places to shop and interesting candy stores. For children, there was an amusement center near the beach. The park itself had all the amenities such as movie night, two pools and snack bar.

Sites are very close together and packed in, roads are one way and hard to navigate. Kids on bikes not looking where they are going and not supervised. Pools are small and crowded. You pay for the convenience of being down the street from the beach. There is no privacy at your site and you are so close together that you can see into your neighbor's camper. Once was enough. We camped at Paradise Park Resort Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

We stayed 7 nights. There is no weekly rate. Paid $70/night plus 9% tax so total cost was $76.30/night. Reservation process was easy. Check in was efficient and included an escort to the site (much appreciated because it's a big place). All hook-ups worked perfectly. We were able to obtain DirecTV, Verizon cell and Verizon mifi signals. We were in site #213 which has a pedestrian walkway on the driver's side and I do mean "next to it". Folks walk by very close to your windows. We had a decent amount of space on our passenger side but the land was a combination of dirt, dead grass and almost dead grass. The pond is pretty. We even saw Mama Ducks with her teenagers. The overall campground is generally clean and well organized. We visited during PEAK season. The park was completely full with tons of children. Unsupervised kids were riding bikes, scooters, skateboards, etc. with reckless abandon completely unconcerned with vehicles. Having said that, our neighbors were friendly and children were relatively quiet and well-behaved (not their fault their parents didn't monitor them on the interior streets). Pool areas were very busy with bodies nearly touching in the spa. We didn't use it but saw the beach shuttle running regularly. Staff was friendly and helpful. They gave us permission to wash our rig and car between 10am-4pm (not to disrupt water pressure for others). They also gave us great tips and a map for riding the nearby Eastern Trail bike path. Bottom line - we would consider staying here again but would evaluate all options first and we'd try to avoid peak season. If you love the beach and all that OOB offers (pier, restaurants, shops, carnival rides, huge candy store, etc.) and/or if you have kids, you're sure to enjoy the park and love the location. We camped at Paradise Park Resort Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Cycle the Eastern Trail Bike Path. Visit, dine, shop and walk on cobblestone streets in Old Port and enjoy the harbor view. You can kayak there too. See Bug Light lighthouse. While there, check out Liberty Ship Memorial which talks about Portland's shipbuilding contribution during WW2. Kennebunkport is a 20 mile drive. You can walk or shuttle from town to a lookout point from which you can see the Bush compound, Walker's Point.

Everything about this campground is perfect:

Location - Close to Portland. In between Kennebunkport and Cape Elizabeth. In walking distance from the beach, boardwalk, and pier. Couple of blocks away from the bike path that connects Portsmouth and Portland.

Campground - There is something for everyone. Two pools, playground, pond, woods, open sites, private sites, community center. The campground is well maintained.

Management - The owners are super nice, ever present, ever helpful.

Great value, better amenities than nearby campgrounds at better price. We camped at Paradise Park Resort Campground in a Motorhome.

What a lovely campground! And some of the nicest camp hosts we've met. This is a very clean, well maintained campground. Ideal for families, but even those traveling without small children would enjoy a stay here. Did not use the facilities, but would be surprised if anything less than excellent. Beautiful, wooded grounds, windy lanes (helped to have an escort), easy stroll to the beach. Will return! We camped at Paradise Park Resort Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Very conveniently located with easy access to Portland/Freeport on the north and Kennebunkport on the south. The campground is family owned and run and it is very well kept. There are several cottages and seasonal sites that are well kept and decorated in ways that add personality to the place.

The focal point of the campground is a beautiful pond fed by a creek. The trees and vegetation provide privacy in a big cross section of the sites. We camped there the first week of October and it was just perfect. We had the place for ourselves. I think in the tourist season peak I would choose a site more private like H-27 or H-26.

The staff was very nice. We would stay there again. We camped at Paradise Park Resort Campground in a Motorhome.

We were in town for the Challenge Maine Triathlon and were welcomed specifically by the staff. The campground is a 1/2 mile walk to the beach (and race) and while they offer a shuttle that runs all the time, it really isn't necessary it's an easy walk. Great, clean sites, friendly, helpful staff and a great location. We camped at Paradise Park Resort Campground in a Motorhome.

All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. This being a campground, the area near the pond is good if you have an RV. If you are tenting, the area in the back of the campground is good with a lot of trees. Some places have electric, water and sewerage. Also, there are 3 bathrooms in different areas of the park to accommodate all. There are 2 small pools, which are heated and have a whirlpool on the side, a childrens' play area and an area for adult games as well. Clean and well kept. About a 10 min walk to the center and beach. We camped at Paradise Park Resort Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Paradise park is a great campground. We stayed the week after the 4th of July Holiday and the park was spotless. The staff are always working to make your stay a comfortable one. Upon arrival the staff in the office were prompt and very friendly. After we finished paying and checking in, a staff member provided us an escort to our site #191. The site was level and had partial (morning and early afternoon) sun. The post was very easy to get to and provided cable TV and 30 amp service. The site also had 2 sewer spots for your convenience. Although the campground was just about sold out, we could not believe how quiet the campground was. We were able to take advantage of the 50 cent shuttle to the beach. We would definitely be returning to this campground in the future. We camped at Paradise Park Resort Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed there while visiting Old Orchard Beach. The campgrounds were well groomed and clean. Our site wasn't very level but we did reserve last minute and they squeezed us on a site they don't normally rent to big RVs. The showers were very nice and the hot tubs they have are to die for. The proximity of Old Orchard makes this a true gem. No parking issues when you can walk down to the boulevard! We camped at Paradise Park Resort Campground in a Motorhome.

Stayed early June, non-peak time, so was not too crowded. Site was nice, a little more open than I like. The bathrooms were spotless and the pools were well kept. The staff is very friendly and even guided us to our site and helped us park. Best part is it is only a 10 to 15 min walk to beach. Will be going back again in the off season.
