Passport America is the only reason we stayed here for two nights on our way back south from northern Maine. If you have kids this is the place to be. We do not. Mainly seasonal so if you want to stay a few days, harder and cramped area. The short term sites are small, close together and full of tents and kids. We had electric, water and cable. The half off PA price was worth it though. The pool is right out of window and the basketball courts and other kids play area, right next to us. The entire area is a beach playground. If you want boardwalk type stuff and have kids to entertain this is great. We only staying on our way south and would try something else next time. Verizon coverage good - not great but enough for me to make good calls and slower but steady data. Close to the other small towns so we could explore the area. Did I mention cheap? Everything worked well. Recently bought by Sun so improvements were obvious. Gated entrance. Close to things you need. We camped at Wagon Wheel RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice park with many seasonals and park models. The amenities were awesome. They had an adult pool and hot tub. The children's pool was full and it looked like they had a blast. The sites are dirt and gravel with some grass. The park was close enough to Portland for touring. They have a shuttle that takes you to the beach on the half hour all day. All in all, an enjoyable, clean park. We camped at Wagon Wheel RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed here to use our Passport America discount which is reflected in the rate. We were given one of the newly-graveled sites along the railroad tracks in the back of the park, which initially concerned us. There was a bit of train traffic, especially the first night, but in all it wasn't too bad. The gravel was extremely loose and kind of a challenge to walk or drive on, but they just layed it down the day before we got there, so that's understandable. They were also laying sod in various areas of the park that had been damaged from the fire earlier this year. It's a nice park, with the majority of site occupied by seasonal park models, but they are all exceptionally well maintained, and there are numerous activities for the kids. The bathrooms were clean and updated, although oddly enough, all the sinks are located on the outside wall of the bathhouse and not inside. So it's a little strange standing there shaving or whatever in the wide open. Park entrance is gated with a required key card for entry, which is a nice security touch. We were here in mid-July, and thought we would stay here one night and scope the area for another campground but as it turned out, all campgrounds were full because this is the busy season here. We ended up staying here for 6 nights, and while not the greatest RV park we've ever stayed at, it was certainly sufficient for our needs. We camped at Wagon Wheel RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Very comfortable. Lots of Park Models and seasonal guests. Part of the Sun system. Professional service, good roads, nice sized sites. Convenient to the Kennebunks and very pretty coastal drives. “A lobster on every corner.” FHU 50 amp $28/night for two nights with PA discount. Great value for a short stopover. Pay Wi-Fi at site, or free hot spot at store. Would stay again. We camped at Wagon Wheel RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We are retired full-time RVers from S. CA traveling the USA. We reserved our 4-night stay through Sun RV using a coupon (buy 3 nights, get 1 free). Sun recently acquired this campground and has done some nice upgrades (new laundry and shower facility). The pool looked nice but we didn't use it (too many kids). Everything is neat and tidy. We had full-hookup the first 3 nights and had to move the 4th night to a site with only elec/water. We find Maine campground prices outrageous. A trolley comes by the park regularly to pick up and drop off for only $1 per trip per person. It's an easy transport to the Old Orchard Pier. The campground is near to all the charming towns...Scarborough, Kennebunkport, Biddeford Pool, Portland and other charming towns. We would stay here again. We camped at Wagon Wheel RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
