Great Park & great service. Very big yet it did not feel crowded where we were. Lots of kids and seasonal campers & we see why. There are so many things to do for the kids. Enjoyed the lobster bake! We camped at Bayley's Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

We booked our trip of nine nights months in advance and this was the one trip the family was most looking forward to all summer based on what we had heard from others. What we experienced was not as good as we hoped for. The good parts in no particular order: 1) there was a bunch of activities and facilities to use 2) the pools were nice, and the main pool with a cover and cafe were excellent to be at 3) great entertainment scheduled 4) camp store was well stocked 5) there is a ton of things to do in the area and the park was nicely located. 6) free trolley service was excellent the bad: 1) no one drives 5 miles an hour!... lots of dust, and unsafe conditions for people walking and biking 2) was expensive - most expensive place we have ever stayed 3) was noisy - neighbors (and neighborhood) partying until 1, 2 and 3 in the morning many... some quiet nights but more often than not noisy neighbor nights 4) golf carts everywhere and people driving them poorly.. often kids driving them unsafe. The whole park is one big golf cart track Overall - I'm not sure that we will return. This was a large park and if everyone even marginally followed the rules established by the park, it would be a better experience for all, but unfortunately that wasn't our experience and the park does not enforce anything. My perception after 9 nights there is that this is more of a party destination and less of a quiet and family destination. We camped at Bayley's Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This was the most expensive campground we've stayed at on our trip through 11 different states. I can't believe so many people are paying nearly $100 a night for such a place. If you have kids, it might be worth it. If you want to relax, have a place to do laundry, and enjoy the nature, this is not the place for you. Bayley's is more of a woodsy amusement park for people in their big rigs who aren't actually camping at all. Would not return. Again, it depends on what type of camping you like. We camped at Bayley's Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

You don't always get what you pay for but... if you don't pay, you're sure not going to get it. Bayles's campground is a large park in the heart of southern Maine, very close to Old Orchard Beach. There is a trolley that runs from the campground to the beach and downtown. They have expanded the campground over the years to include many activities and amenities. The list of amenities just goes on and on, including 3 pool areas, 2 restaurants, 2 stores, fishing hole, mini golf open fields, many play grounds as well as a small theater for evening entertainment. (They even have a kids only hot tub!) The newest area in the back of the park has larger sites for for larger motor homes. This part of the campground s away from the main camping sites and features an adults only facility which includes a pool, 2 hot tubs, a cafe that serves food and drinks (beer, wine, prepackaged cocktail or even nonalcoholic soft drinks). The best part - no kids allowed :-) Overall, Baylee's has something for everyone. I stayed here and have already booked my return trip for next year. We camped at Bayley's Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

I've been to Old Orchard Beach area before and the downtown is ticky tacky with a boardwalk featuring rides, concessions and junk food - not my thing but it is what it is. However, southern Maine beaches are great and there is plenty of other things to do in the area.

We were in big rig section in a 43 foot motorhome with a tow vehicle. Check-in was easy and the directions to our site were excellent. The campground has several swimming pools and lakes. The lakes are catch and release. The campground is close to many excellent restaurants and seafood shops where you will find delicious lobsters and other delicacies. The campground is well maintained and clean and easy to navigate with spacious sites. We will definitely return when in the area.301. We camped at Bayley's Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

HUGE, clean RV resort. There's tons for kids/families to do. Lots of activity. There's an adult pool with a bar & grille. Big rig section has pull-thru sites- no shade. Other sections (also can handle big rigs) are very woodsy and shaded. Our site was 50 amp, FHU, gravel, and level, but pricey. Enough space between sites. Friendly, easy, efficient check-in. WiFi was excellent. Limited cable channels. Trolley to the beach. Would stay here again. We camped at Bayley's Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Large, busy park on the weekend. Quieter on the weekdays. Full hookups, moderate to large sites. Friendly staff. Golf carts for rent (can't use your own). My 10 year old son loves this place and we will definitely be returning. Trolley shuttles to Old Orchard Beach are a big plus. We camped at Bayley's Camping Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Free trolly to beach each hour June 17-Sept. I would have given it a 10 if the roads and sites were paved. Lots of activities. Cafe. Two adult pools and spas. Two family pools and spas. All heated. Very nice to have choice, if available of open sun, shade, and wooded. 250 acres and they used the forest to separate the different areas. Very nice. We were there early before their season begins. Rates go up June 17 each year and keep until Sept. Very close by beach. Sites were very spacious. Great WIFI. We camped at Bayley's Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Huge park! Organized check in. Off season rate was good except that they charged us for the kids. I cannot imagine paying more than what we did. They have very nice pools and playgrounds. They have additional things to do such as gokart style bikes, fishing, mini golf, arcade for additional fee$. Seemed like mostly tourists. Our neighbors were from PA and NY. Sites are a good size, hookups appropriately placed. Our fire ring was missing the grill section others had but we didn't need it anyways. Lots of golf carts driving around. We were on a one way loop and nobody seemed to follow that. Restrooms were surprisingly nice, appeared recently updated. Showers were not as new and nice and had some issues with steady water temps but worked. They have an on site restaurant and laundry, prices there were reasonable. We camped at Bayley's Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Wonderful Camping resort! Stayed one week, left for a week and came back for a weekend! Exceptional service by everyone who works there. There are 4 pools, and one is an adult only pool which was wonderful! It has a full service bar and restaurant as well as entertainment 3 afternoons a week. Many activities for all ages. Another restaurant and bar area at main pool which also has entertainment. Food was good but a little pricey. Roads are great for hiking and biking. 2 full sized campstores- very well stocked! Playgrounds, athletic fields, pedal carts, kayak rentals- you name it, this place has it! Laundry facilities are top notch! Big washers and dryers, and plenty of them! Very close to beaches and shopping. Just love this place! Easy check-in. Level gravel sites and ours was huge! We camped at Bayley's Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

So much to do in area! We kayaked and walked to Scarborough Beach. Old Orchard Beach is just 2 miles away. Old Portland is about 20 minutes. We golfed at Willowdale Country Club, at the recommendation of Bayley's and we were not disappointed.

Campgrounds had ample sized sites with crushed stone for a base. We had a 30 amp site with water, sewer and cable. Campgrounds were very well kept and had enough amenities to keep you there. I thought the campgrounds were on the expensive side but we certainly got what we paid for. Multiple pools (some heated), hot tubs, laundry rooms, game rooms, store, restaurant, playground are all readily available. If you're located far from the main area, golf-carts are offered at a $$$ but worth it if you'd rather not walk. We camped at Bayley's Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed for one week in a 31' Class C. Sites are wide and spacious. Excellent amenities. Internal roads are gravel and rough. As long as people obey the speed limit - not too much dust. We stayed far from main entrance and store for quiet - but still had loud music near back pool - just a little annoying. Everyone seems to obey quiet hours. Trolly service to beaches is excellent. Would definitely go back. We camped at Bayley's Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

So after hearing from so many people that Bayley's was a wonderful place to visit, we decided to book. We originally had booked for the July 4th weekend, but due to RV issues had to cancel. The office was nice enough to cancel our reservation and give us a credit to use before the end of this years season. We wound up staying three nights in a very large pull through site, 324, at the very back of the campground. The site is so large it fit our 3/4 ton truck and 35' fifth wheel with enough room behind for another vehicle. Site was gravel/grass with all grass on either side. It is an end site, so plenty of room on either side, but we had no shade at all. Water, electric and wifi worked well. We were right near the adult only pool which was very nice as were the hot tubs. We were able to hear the live band on Thursday and see the Old Orchard Beach fireworks without walking. The free trolley ride to Pine Point Beach and Old Orchard Beach was great saving us money on parking and trying to fit a large truck in town parking.

We new in advance that this is a family resort and most activities cater to kids. We don't have kids so most of what Bayley's had to offer really didn't appeal to us. You will see and hear kids on bikes everywhere. We were very surprised that as large as it is, there are no walking areas, you have to walk on the roads with all the vehicle and bike traffic which can get quite crowded. We came across several campers that did not have their pets on a leash. While some people obviously don't think this is an issue, I don't trust anyone saying their dog is friendly when my wife and I approach with our dogs. Rules say keep dogs leashed, period.

All in all, Bayley's was just not for us. Constant noise during the day from sun up to sun down and way too many kids for us. If we did not have another night credit, we would not return. We would look at some of the other campgrounds in the area instead. We camped at Bayley's Camping Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

The park's location is great! They have two free trolley's that would take you to two beaches. The park has an old section and a new section. The new section was great! We stayed in the older section and it was OK. Sites are smaller there, bathrooms need updating. Amenities were great! So much to do and they have a great little restaurant offering snacks to fish adn burgers. We would definitely return, but would request the new side of the park. We had a great time at this park. We took advantage of the weekend specials and the off season rates.

We were very happy to be returning to one of our favorite places after being away for a couple of years but we are glad we did. We stayed during Heroes Weekend honoring Police, Firefighters, and Teachers. We stayed in the North Section of the campground and we paid $65.00 for the entire weekend.

This is a very large campground 750+ sites and it is immaculate. Staff is always cleaning, raking, etc. to keep the place clean. The sites were large and angled so we had a view and would not look at the back of our neighbors.

This campground has a site for everyone. There were many big rigs in the campground (45+ feet). All hook-ups are easy to get to and work great. There are so many amenities at this campground. They have 3 pools (1 of them is adults only), several hot tubs, a large pavilion where they have entertainment in the evenings. They have mini golf, basketball courts, ball fields, and much more. Wi-Fi signal is good throughout the campground. We camped at Bayley's Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.
