Sardine city: we are jammed up against each site. No activities except canoe rental, no pool, no place to walk the dog. I don't understand the high ratings. There are better choices nearby. Quiet time is 9 until 8 and there are too many rules. We camped at Wild Duck Campground & RV Park (Adult Only) in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is a perfect place for us to unwind for a while. We stayed for a week, we got the 7th day free, it is still off season here, so the price reflects that. I agree with most of the previous posts, there are many seasonal sites, so I would call for reservation, some of the sites are tighter than others, especially for the bigger rigs. But we liked it a lot, our site 28 was level and overlooked the marsh, beautiful to just sit out and relax. The cable had 70 channels, the wifi strong, the laundry and bathrooms clean. The whole park was very clean, our site was raked and very tidy. Sprint/Verizon worked well. Good room to walk the pup. It was very quiet here, we will stay here again, when in the area. We camped at Wild Duck Campground & RV Park (Adult Only) in a Travel Trailer.

This is a lovely heavily wooded park just on the edge of a tidal marsh. Lots of seasonal campers with big rigs and some sites are really, really tight but do-able. Turns are tight too, but big rigs do go in and out. Nice people and a great spot. We camped at Wild Duck Campground & RV Park (Adult Only) in a Motorhome.

We did not stay at Wild Duck but we drove through it. We had reservations for 2 nights but because of all the trees we could not get DirecTV from our site, which was the last one available. The owner must run a great campground because every site was taken and he had to turn rigs away. He told us that if he was able to rent the site he would credit our card. Within 2 days I was informed by the owner that he had done just that. We camped at Wild Duck Campground & RV Park (Adult Only) in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

24' RV with tow car. Stayed on the 'peninsula'. Only 20 amp service on the 'peninsula': 30 and 50 amp elsewhere. Did not need to use air conditioning in mid-July due to the breeze off the salt marsh. Nice people throughout - owners and help plus the other campers. Great location: coast of Maine below Portland plus Portland, Maine itself. Scarborough Marsh and the Eastern Trail Greenway are very accessible from this park. Tight quarters and a little pricey compared to what we are used to on the road during the winter out west and down south. Quiet and congenial. We will return. Wonderful location!! We camped at Wild Duck Campground & RV Park (Adult Only) in a Motorhome.

Great activity map available at check-in but beware not to scale. Lots to do lots to access. Check out One Longfellow Square in Portland for live music: a wonderful listening room. Portland has an abundance of excellent restaurants.

The price is for a 50 amp. pull through. We asked for the pull thru to avoid having the awning side facing the road. Extremely well maintained campground. Sites vary in size, but are small. Our pull through site was large enough for slides and awnings with little room in between. The surface was mostly packed sand which was ok when dry, but stuck to anything that came in contact with it when wet. We were on a grass site the last time we stayed here and it was much nicer and wider. The owner and staff are all very pleasant and helpful. The campground is very quiet. We would stay here again. We camped at Wild Duck Campground & RV Park (Adult Only) in a Travel Trailer.

We really like this campground and this is our second visit. There are a couple of negatives. The sites are close together our slide was very close to the next camper's slide. Roadways a tad narrow so stay alert while maneuvering this campground. It is near many interesting sights and the owners are very nice. Restrooms/laundry are spotless. Nice and quiet here with adults-only rules. Nice duck pond and food provided for you to feed ducks that live there. Sites were level and covered with groomed fine sand. Great in dry weather not so much when it rained. If we return to the area I would stay there again. We camped at Wild Duck Campground & RV Park (Adult Only) in a Fifth Wheel.

Off season rates applied. A lot of seasonals. Backs up to a salt water marsh. Gorgeous setting. Had site 24 and it was awesome. We had wished we'd spent our whole 12 days here! Very good location to everything in that area. Loved the Kennebunkport area which is an easy 30 min drive. We camped at Wild Duck Campground & RV Park (Adult Only) in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice 'adult' campground. Our back-in site easy accommodated our 40' motorhome with room for vehicle in front. Good cable service. Nice laundry with 2 washers and 4 dryers. Very well kept and clean. Sites are raked, level, and wide enough for privacy. Pull through and back in sites available, as well as tenting. Quiet campground right out on the marshes. Very serene and peaceful. Probably not great for children, no pool or playground. There wasn't a lot of area to walk a dog or I would have given it a 10. Wish more were like this. We would definitely return again, if in the area. We camped at Wild Duck Campground & RV Park (Adult Only) in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for 6 Days and found it to be very tranquil. This is a small Adult only RV park. Kept very clean. No Pool or Playgrounds therefore nice and quiet. I wish we could find more RV parks like this. Our site #30A was a long back-in with full hook-ups. There was plenty of room for our 36 Ft.RV plus our Car. Sufficient room on side for a picnic table and chairs with a nice view of the marshes. Near many attractions: Portland "Old Port", Freeport, Cape Elizabeth, etc. For those of you that like tranquility, this is the place to go. Very nice campground. Lots of shade and manicured grass. All roads are paved with the campsites themselves crushed stone. The sites on the inside of the circle are indeed a little tight. The pull thru sites are long with the intent to come in from the opposite direction as your close neighbor and pull forward. In so doing have space and some privacy. The sites around the perimeter are back-in and mostly very adequate. Tent sites as well as seasonal sites are somewhat separated from the transients. Good laundry. Good WiFi at our site. Very nice park. Would recommend and use again. We camped at Wild Duck Campground & RV Park (Adult Only) in a Motorhome.

This is our first "Adults Only" campground and it is very nice though I don't think kids would mar it - not that I'm pushing a change. Definitely, an upper level of clientele who were quiet and courteous. A little crowded but this is a very nice campground with good facilities, pleasant staff and a picturesque view of the salt marsh. If there is anything to complain about it's the charge for Wi-Fi which should be included in their basic price. Our site was level fore and aft and port and starboard. Washer/Dryer room was clean and very nice. We would return. We camped at Wild Duck Campground & RV Park (Adult Only) in a Motorhome.

Sites were tight. We were in a pull through site which had side by side hook ups and there could not have been 6 foot between us and the motorhome beside us. We asked for a large site so evidently they think if is long it is large. There was probably 12 ft on the other side and our front door was facing the other campers front door. You can not check in before 1 pm or after 7 pm. On the up side it was very clean, quiet and there were lots of TV channels. We camped at Wild Duck Campground & RV Park (Adult Only) in a Fifth Wheel.

This (adults only, no kids) park had a nice feel to it and we would stay here again. Friendly welcome, attractive pond with wild ducks. Our small site was on the peninsula looking out toward a nice view of the marsh (we drive a van RV, so easily fit.) Shower stall was a bit small. This park is a good location for visiting Portland and the various lighthouses at Cape Elizabeth. We camped at Wild Duck Campground & RV Park (Adult Only) in a Motorhome.

This was our second visit to Wild Duck and the only reason I rate it 9 and not 10 is that some of the premium back-in spaces are a bit difficult to get into with a 32 ft. 5th wheel. Other than that, the place is great. It is well-maintained, quiet, mainly because kids aren't permitted. It is bordered by a very scenic marsh, and not too far from grocery shopping, restaurants, Cabela's and other facilties. The gravel sites are reasonably level, and raked after every departure. If you use a Magellen/Good Sam GPS, be forwarned, the directions to Wild Duck linked to the Good Sam POIs are very wrong. If you manually enter the address it will get you right there. We camped at Wild Duck Campground & RV Park (Adult Only) in a Fifth Wheel.
