Aug 2012 - $40.00
Stayed 6 days - family reunion. Large boating/swimming lake at campsite. Many seasonal or permanent campers so over nights have limited selection. Mini golf and store/restaurant on site. Overall, a nice park and friendly staff. Would stay again if in area. - Idletime

May 2016 - $30.00
Friendly and informative, typical of all Lions Club, Flat and level sites that are grass/gravel, with some shade, a fire ring and picnic table. Not a fancy resort but just perfect. - wearecanadian

We are writing this review to warn those of you who need 50-amp service that it is NOT available at this campground, as previous reviews have stated. And it may be fine for some large rigs, but wasn't appropriate for our 45-ft motorhome. To make matters worse, the ground was soft, and we got stuck while trying to squeeze into our site. All of that would merit an even lower score, but the other campers were terrific - they were extremely helpful and got us out of the mud! If you have a smaller motorhome and don't need 50-amp service, it would probably be a nice place to stay. Admin Note: 50 amp available in 2014. - BigRig45
Jun 2010 - $21.00
Park has level, wide, private sites among the trees; some are long, some are medium length. The campground is 3/4 km on a good dirt road from the highway and railway, so there is relatively little noise. $21 for electric/water; $40 for sewer as well. No Wi-Fi yet, although it is planned for 2010 (and won't be free). Cell coverage is marginal (I had a dropped call), and data rates are 1X only (no EVDO yet). There is a pool, miniature golf, kids' play area, horse shoes, etc., plus a huge woods with trails to wander through. (But beware of the ticks -- I came out with several dozen on my pants!) - Neil C.
Jul 2015 - $25.00
This a small park operated by a small town (Elkhorn, pop about 500). It is well maintained, clean and quiet. Access with our large motorhome was easy, and the park is 1/4 mile off the TransCanada Highway. There is no cable but satellite TV reception is perfect, even for US Direct TV. We didn't need the washroom/showers. The CG is not staffed so you have to call the Elkhorn village office and make arrangements for reservations and payment. While there is no pool or other amenities, and it would be mostly an overnight stop, there is an interesting antique car museum down the road. And the folks in Elkhorn are super friendly! - alanez
