This is a very large campground with many long pull throughs for big rigs. The interior roads were a bit on the narrow side, and as it had recently rained, these mostly dirt roads were rutted and muddy. There are large boulders to mark corners, and individual concrete site markers that posed some challenges, but we got in and out without a mishap. It bears watching, though!

The folks were very nice, the location convenient to the highway and to the city.

The sites were satellite friendly, and 50 amp with full hookups.

We would stay here again if we were passing through. We camped at Town & Country Campground (formerly Traveller's RV Resort) in a Motorhome.

Cost is Can$. Hook ups were good. Wifi was good. Good spacing between sites. Night noise not really noticeable for getting to sleep. Staff went out of their way to help us get some documents that had been delivered by courier. Laundromat in the main building was clean and machines all worked the way they were supposed to. Snacks available at Main building. I would stay here again. 20 minute drive to downtown attractions. We camped at Town & Country Campground (formerly Traveller's RV Resort) in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

First day went to Human Rights Museum downtown and then walked around the train station and Forks food terminal nearby. Riverwalk was closed. Second day went to Royal Canadian Mint, Manitoba Legislative building and then Assinaboine Park.

The laundry room was clean as were the machines. There has been lots of Rain, so it was a challenge for the owners. the owners and staff went above and beyond to satisfy us. Site were good grass/gravel and were pretty level. Spacious sites, will camp here again. Tons of grassy areas. Quiet at night, the trains and TCH #1 were acceptable. We camped at Town & Country Campground (formerly Traveller's RV Resort) in a Motorhome.

This is a large campground with narrow sites side-by-side-by-side, typical of a privately owned campground. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. A full service pull-through site is $35.65. We camped at Town & Country Campground (formerly Traveller's RV Resort) in a Fifth Wheel.

The bathrooms and showers in main building have mold issues and in need of upgrades/overhaul. We camped June 30th-July 3 was disappointed I how small, not much for shade/privacy, site was level but tables are about 8-10 feet from fire ring. Very poor/non existent drainage ifs storm hits. It rained on a Monday or Tuesday, still mud at site Sunday morning at departure! Old arcades that ate $2 were given .50 back. Only thing I liked was close to Tinker Town and Fun Mountain. Nice fireworks, $5 pork on bun July 1st but at $11 for firewood not listed on site was ridiculous. We camped at Town & Country Campground (formerly Traveller's RV Resort) in a Travel Trailer.

Located between highway and train tracks coming and going all night long, no sleeping at this park. Sites uneven, laundry room filthy dirty.

NEW OWNERS SINCE 2015
We stayed here 2014, 2015 and now 2016.
50 amp pull thru site weekly discount. New owners are very friendly and seem to care about their guests. Internet is very fast. Sites are big and level pull thru's. Full hook up in the right spot for a class A. No extension needed.
Picnic table and fire ring.
Rate is in Canadian dollar, weekly discount.
Last winter they renovated the reception, store clubhouse area. At check in I saw that there is a TV and pool tables.
We will be back next May for sure.
Looking at the bad reviews we were a bit scared coming here for the first time but our experience proofed that it's a good place to be.
Yes you can hear some freeway and some train noise, but it never kept us awake. Last night at dinner, I rather heard birds than the freeway. We camped at Town & Country Campground (formerly Traveller's RV Resort) in a Motorhome.

The new management here seems to be doing a great job of creating a clean family campground. Some of the roads are a bit tight to navigate with a big rig, so be careful. Turns and site entrances are a bit difficult in places. We rejected the first two assigned sites because they were not meant for big rigs. They have both treed sites and open areas for good satellite reception. Unhook toad in the front parking lot! Wi-Fi , water, sewer were all in good order. Folks in the office were very friendly and helpful. No doubt we would stay here again. We camped at Town & Country Campground (formerly Traveller's RV Resort) in a Motorhome.

We used this park as our base to explore Winnipeg. The campground is quite large and has what appears to be two sections. The older one has shaded, grassy sites under the trees, and is used by many as a seasonal base. The newer section is more open, big rig friendly, and has long pull-throughs. There is a playground, mini-golf, basketball and volleyball courts, and a shuffleboard area. The office area has a small store with food and RV supplies, a used book sale or exchange 1-1 of equal value, and there are billiard tables and video game machines. We camped at Town & Country Campground (formerly Traveller's RV Resort) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The park has undergone a name change and is now known as the Town & Country Campground. The new sign at the entrance to the park was installed as we were leaving on July 9, 2015. The signs on the Perimeter Road still read Travellers.

We had submitted a scathing review a couple of years ago. Good news.. under new ownership.. we found out and returned after a 3 year hiatus and so happy we did. The new owners are bending over backwards to change the perception of the park.. What a change to have people understand what you want and give it.. They worked for over a week to steam open the sewer lines to give us sewer... trucked water to the site for 2 weeks... big plans for improvements... a must stay for people visiting Winnipeg. We camped at Town & Country Campground (formerly Traveller's RV Resort) in a Motorhome.

This is a fairly large campground. Park roads are gravel/dirt and the sites gravel, but lot of weeds growing in some of them. Our site was a gravel and fairly level pull-through. There is grass between the sites. A picnic table and fire ring are included at each site. Some sites have cement patios. Since around here this is still the slow season there was lots of room around our site. The electric posts were shared and far away from our RV. I had to use an extension cord and park at the back end of the pad. Water and sewer were placed okay in the rear corner. No cable TV, but found 6 channels off the antenna. No problem with satellite TV as there was enough room around the trees. Wi-Fi signal was strong enough but bandwidth was horrible with browsing at a snail’s pace. Staff told me that they had a problem with some of the seasonals hogging all the bandwidth. The office building laundry had 4 washers and 4 dryers. The washers were fine, but the dryers didn’t do the job as there just wasn’t enough heat. The store stocks some basic RV supplies which came in handy as I lost another sewer cap – again. The mosquitoes weren’t as bad as I feared due to a couple of purple martin nesting boxes. We would stay here again if ever in the area. We camped at Town & Country Campground (formerly Traveller's RV Resort) in a Motorhome.

We have stayed here many times over the years as it is close to Winnipeg. The campground washrooms are old and desperately in need of some TLC. There is only one comfort station in the park with 4 showers. The campground has gravel roads ,and most site pads are also gravel. The people at the reception desk, I'm guessing they are the owners, were very unfriendly. We pre-registered asking for a well treed site and were told they had lots of shaded areas. Upon arrival we again asked for a shady spot and were assured the site would be good. The site was wide open, no trees anywhere. Lots of grass area, but few trees. There are some lovely sites, but the woman at the front desk said we could not change sites as they were all booked. 80 plus sites remained open! We will not be back! We camped at Town & Country Campground (formerly Traveller's RV Resort) in a Motorhome.

This campground has a lot of potential if it was looked after. The roads are rough with potholes and very dusty on a windy day. Wi-fi did not reach our site. However, the main problem is the outright rudeness and unwillingness to meet the needs of the campers by the people running it. A change in attitude or hiring of more friendly staff could help in making it a better place to stay, but I guess when it's the only one in the city, the owners really don't care. We camped at Town & Country Campground (formerly Traveller's RV Resort) in a Travel Trailer.

Nice open sites with lots of grass. Sites are well kept and have 50 amps. Very big rig friendly. We found no noise from water park. Friendly check-in. Close enough to downtown for convenience, but still in the country. Definitely a return spot for us whenever we come this way.
