We stayed in the Milburn Landing Nanticoke Loop (only loop on this side of the park), site #23. The site was very large, level, and heavily shaded by loblolly pines. Nice open-ish area to the side and behind the site, where we were able to hang our hammocks and clothesline. The pines provided great shade, but little privacy between sites. The campground itself was very pretty and well laid out, but most sites were a little too close together for my tastes. I really did enjoy our particular site, but it was a bit too far from the bath house for those traveling with little kids. Camping loop also has a partial view of the river, and is steps away from the Nassawango Pavilion and tire playground (which was great for us, because we were holding our family reunion in said pavilion). Bath house was large and extremely clean; renovated within the last year. Two large shower stalls; one was a handicapped stall with the detachable shower head, which was great for showering my toddler off. Water was nice and hot, and pressure was strong. I'm assuming they had well water, as i could feel the slight "sliminess" of a water softener. There was also a nice, large dishwashing sink on the outside. Nearby pavilion and tire playground were very clean and well-maintained, with a beautiful view of the Pocomoke River. Nice dock for fishing and boat launch. This seems to be the more "quiet" side of the park; if you're looking for more on-site activities and amenities, head over to Shad Landing. Overall, we really enjoyed this park, and the setting couldn't be more beautiful. If we were to return, we would probably camp on the Shad Landing side, as it has more amenities right there, and the campsites over there seemed more private and wooded than those at Milburn. We camped at Pocomoke River State Park / Milburn Landing in a Tent Trailer.

Milburn Landing is a nice little part of Pocomoke State Park. Showers and restrooms are new and were cleaned daily. Brand new wash sink for dishes with garbage disposal. Rangers drive through a couple times of day, but campground is self registration when you arrive. Some sites with electric, but water is not at sites. There are a few spickets throughout the campground, but plan on filling holding tank on way in. There is a spicket by dumpsters. There is a boat ramp near by and also a location to put in kayaks and canoes. Playground and pavilions are located in area. Pool is located in the Shad Landing area. Cell phone use was fine, never tried over the air tv. Firewood is for sale at office for $5. Stores are located on RT13 about 15 minute ride. Will definitely be back. We camped at Pocomoke River State Park / Milburn Landing in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Not for big rigs, roads are tight for bigger vehicles. Dump station is a little tight as well, unless you know what you're doing.
State Park has two different camping locations, Shad Landing off RT113 and Milburn Landing off Nassawango Rd. Make sure you are making reservations and arriving at correct place.

We spent 5 nights in this wonderful campground. We love state parks in general, but this one especially. It is located quite nicely near Ocean City but far enough away to be away from the madness. The shade was excellent. We only saw one tent site that had complete sun exposure. We witnessed several other campers arrive and saw that it is definitely very tight for people with larger travel trailers and motorhomes. The park is very welcoming to pets. We brought our kayaks with us and spent 2 days on the river. The boat launch was quite convenient and easy to launch from. We plan to travel here again next year, more than once. We felt very secure in the park. The Park Rangers made their presence known but were not intrusive but very friendly and accommodating. The Park Rangers were also very knowledgeable and willing to share information. The State Police patrolled at night. I would recommend this Park to anyone who is looking for a quiet place to stay and play. We camped at Pocomoke River State Park / Milburn Landing in a Tent Trailer.

This state park is in a beautiful setting next to the Pocomoke River. Four of the sites are small cabins that have a bed, a bunk bed and a table and chairs. The sites are quite level and the area is heavily wooded. DirecTV reception was not possible from our site. Cell phone service is good. A free launch ramp for boats is nearby. There are a couple of playgrounds for kids, plus a pavilion which can be reserved for large group activities. We camped at Pocomoke River State Park / Milburn Landing in a Motorhome.
