Kind of expensive for Hagerstown. We paid extra $10 to pick site & $25 to checkout late 6pm. The 700's sites are more level than the 200's. Visually sites look level, but when parked, front is lower than rear. Front tires almost off ground. Sites are not level, but at least they are as flat as can be for the land. Laser tag $5 day, $10 night. Zip line similar charge. Water slides free. Clean resort. Nice pool and playground and activities, store, and restaurant. Not much to do in Hagerstown outside resort. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Hagerstown in a Motorhome.
Hagerstown Valley Mall area 10 minutes away many restaurants. Food Lion 10 minutes away. Walmart 15 minutes away.

Great place. Extensive recreation team to keep everyone busy, as there should be for the price. Some issues: many of the sites are not level at all. Grass not cut for two weeks on preferred spot. For the money, would expect a bit more effort for site upkeep. Overall, great place. Granddaughter loves it. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Hagerstown in a Motorhome.

It's a decent park, but it's really expensive and not really near anything. Not the river, not the battlefields, no mountains. nothing really. The only exception is the C&O canal but you have to bike about 3-5 miles to get on. I grew up in this area and to visit friends and family we stay here, usually in the off season when things quiet down and it's cheaper. No way you get me to pay $100 a night in a CG in Williamsport MD. Ok, all that said, it's a nice campground and well maintained. The staff are pretty friendly although when I had to get LP once I had to actually do it for the fella cuz he had no idea what he was doing. If you don't mind crowds and a very expensive park but have young ones that enjoy the water park and other kiddie stuff then it's a nice place to stay. They must be doing something right because they are booked solid in the summer. However it's really the only game in town. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Hagerstown in a Motorhome.

We stayed off season when pool slides were closed and still price was outrageous. Site is very very narrow and unable to have fire as other camper right there. The sites are in a big field with no trees or anything. The entrance was awful for a big rig with narrow drive, and low trees. Overpriced and will not stay here again. We usually would stay on our way to Florida from NY, but there is no value at this price for really nothing open on site. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Hagerstown in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a VERY large campground that is great for families. My husband and I, who do not have young children, stayed at this campground as the park was close to Antietam Battlefield and Harper's Ferry.
Check-in at the park was quick and convenient. The park offers pull through and back-in sites with full hookups (30 or 50-AMP), generous site size, cabins, fire rings, and a primitive tent area. Amenities offered are mini golf, gaga ball, playground, horse shoes, jumping pillow, game room, volleyball, lazer tag area, Cindy Bear 500 Speedway, gem mining, sunset movie theater, zip along, pool, kiddie pool, basketball and water zone with water slides. The park also offers laundry facilities, bathrooms/showers, dump station, propane gas, camp store, and a canteen that offers appetizers, sandwiches & wraps, burgers, hand-dipped ice cream, salads, and beverages.
The park is well taken care of and relatively clean. We did not utilize the bathrooms/showers, so we cannot comment on those.
Even though we do not have young children, we would probably stay at this campground again. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Hagerstown in a Motorhome.

Expensive but worth it if you have kids and want lots of activities.
The water park is the main attraction. The main pool is large but got crowded on a hot weekend. There are two tall water slides that my kids (4 and 6) really enjoyed. The park recently put in a nice pirate-themed splash ground as well. There is a smaller pool in another section of the campground also.
Activities are offered pretty much all day (some are extra $) and there was a band Friday night. We did the nightly hayride with the Yogi characters. They have a zip line and a pedal cart track that we didn't get to try. Staff was friendly and numerous - i.e. trash is always being picked up. This is a corporate-owned campground and as such it feels more like a resort, which is fine considering the rates. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Hagerstown in a Travel Trailer.
Unless you like full sun, ask for a site in the trees.

Preferred spots are real nice. Landscaping good, good amount of space. As with the other large camping area, it was built on a slight grade, just enough that you have to level a lot. My rear tires almost had to go off the ground in one row. WIFI down the entire weekend. Lots of staff running around on golf carts including one guy who seemed to have a free ice cream in his hand the entire weekend, must be the owners son. Can't reach the office on the phone most the time. The system loops you to a recording. Not sure why they can't have someone answer the phone. They kept my card on file but every time I went to the store, the procedures were different. One time last three digits, one time nothing, one time, sign something. Easy on/off the highway, trees not an issue. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Hagerstown in a Motorhome.

This review comes from the point-of-view of a full-time RVer in a premium site over Memorial Day weekend with plans to ride our bicycles along the C&O Canal. This is a gorgeous, destination RV park where you get the privilege of paying Disney prices without the hassle of traveling to Disney. Gravel interior roads & sites with a somewhat tight, paved entrance road (watch for tree limbs) for big rigs. After you park at the stop sign to check in, you'll find the office located behind the restrooms next to the pool. Excellent staff & maintenance crew where the two maintenance issues we found upon arrival (power outages at RV site & at the laundry) were resolved quickly. Check-in times are mid-to-late afternoon and more in line with the hotel/motel industry than most RV parks. $10 penalty for checking in 45 minutes early (apparently to pay for all those amenities & activities that weren't open when we arrived). No credit if you check out earlier than the 1 PM check-out time on your planned day of departure. The resort map & insert is quick to point out all the things you can't do, but lite on things that would make your stay more enjoyable. No list of cable channels. No instruction on the use of the campground WiFi (we found the WiFi signal stronger than the Verizon Wireless signal at our site). No instructions on what to do with trash where the few garbage cans that can be seen are way too few & small to handle trash from an RV resort of this size. No local area info available unless you want pizza, need your RV repaired, or you're planning to stay at another Jellystone RV park. Small laundry. If you're a full time RVer, only consider this park for a luxury, overnight stop or a stay with grand kids. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Hagerstown in a Fifth Wheel.

This was a one night stay at a 50 amp full hookup site. Entrance to the park was winding and narrow. We made our reservations online a couple days before so check in was easy. We were then escorted to our site. The park was mostly empty but they parked all the rvs together side by side on one row instead of giving us a little space. The sites were gravel and long enough to fit our 40' motorhome with tow but the site was also very narrow. Opening the slides made it feel like were right on top of the rig next to us. There were also few trees where we were parked so no shade.
There was a really big dog park near our site which our dogs really enjoyed. Everything else was closed for the winter and there was construction going on nearby and lots of noisy trucks and heavy equipment drove by often. I also was never able to connect to their wifi. This is a destination park that's really busy during high season. I would probably stay here again if in the area. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Hagerstown in a Motorhome.

We camped here after the mass exodus of Labor Day weekend. We had the whole park to ourselves. I was struck on how nice the cabins, ponds, grounds and pools were. I would come back here again - no problem. Although I imagine it would be crowded during the summer months. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Hagerstown in a Fifth Wheel.

First Off - we will never stay here again! Secondly the facilities are very good and our RV site was good. We were trying to make reservations and wanted to check out on a Saturday - I was informed they were having a Halloween activity and would not allow checkout on Saturdays because of safety reasons because there would be so many children around and activities going on - we decided to wait until Sunday. The rates are absorbent! Over $100. per night. On Saturday truck loads of kids were in the campgrounds for Trick or Treat. We went to the store and bought candy to have for the kids. I was talking with some of the parents and they told me they were from the local area and car loads of people loaded up and came to the campground to get candy for their kids. From a security stand point this bothered me. In addition on Saturday we observed several RV's coming and going during the day. After discussing this with the management it was obvious it is all about the money and they don't care about the campers. The good thing is they will never get any of our money again. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Hagerstown in a Fifth Wheel.

We arrived on a Sunday night for an overnight stop on I-81. We didn't like the high price, but it was as far as we wanted to go that day. Our experience was much better than the previous reviewer's. There were many empty spots (week-end visitors had left) which may have accounted for the improved noise level all around. The gas golf carts were indeed noisy, but it was not a constant annoyance. Heard no dogs barking. Had no rig on one side and the other side's occupants were quiet. Yes, the entry was a little tight, but not as bad as some we've encountered and the trees were trimmed high enough not to scratch our coach. We navigated it fine in our 42' motorhome towing our car which made us 60' total. Our space in the 700 row was large and level. It's a destination park designed for children with lots of activities for them. When I had made the reservation, I was at first told there was a minimum 2-night stay. When I explained we were just stopping on our way north, she said they make an exception for travelers on their way elsewhere. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Hagerstown in a Motorhome.

I have reviewed this park previously but after reading older reviews, felt the need to again. We stayed here from a Friday-Wednesday. This weekend was very busy, but there was no problem with noise and we were in the 200s, right near the pool. Activities are prompt and fun, pool and slides are clean and well protected with lifeguards. The addition of the zip line was great. We were fortunate enough to have it open the day before we were leaving. We like the area and would camp here again. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Hagerstown in a Travel Trailer.

I don't usually review parks twice, but the character of this park is drastically different from our stay in the spring. Weekends during the summer are like Memorial Day, Labor Day, and Fourth of July all in one. Nonstop barking dogs (many off leash), constant noise from loud gas powered golf carts, and no enforcement of any rules or quiet hours. Breathtakingly expensive, and the main attraction (pool and water slides) was closed for most of the day due to someone defecating in the pool. I don't think its fair to rate a park low because of other campers, but this park lets everyone run wild regardless of rules or inconsideration to other campers. If you like nonstop action and noise, this is the park for you. If you'd like to get to sleep before 2:00 AM, best to stay elsewhere. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Hagerstown in a Fifth Wheel.

We were thinking of stopping here with our grandkids on the way south, so we stopped in early to check it out. Stayed just one night. There's only one line to check in and there were lots of cars ahead. We waited. Then we had to wait 15 minutes to be escorted to our site. One small pool was open and they were working on everything else. Site was just long enough for 45' motorhome and toad, but was very narrow. Glad our neighbor didn't have a fire in their firepit. It was 3 feet from the side of our motorhome. The Wi-Fi didn't work at our site in the 700 block and we couldn't get a Verizon signal, so no internet. It looks like a good campground for kids if you are staying long enough to amortize the wait to get in - at least once they open up the pool and water slide and other kid oriented things. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Hagerstown in a Motorhome.
