This campground needs a lot of help. At least the check-in was friendly and efficient. Interior roads are rough, signage is inadequate, and some sites have utility problems. Equipment and junk are scattered around the campground. Due to heavy rain, the grassy sites were somewhat boggy in spite of fairly good drainage so leveling was a bit challenging. Wi-Fi didn't work. If in the area again, I would try very hard to find another overnight campground. Sadly, the Brimfield area is still showing the effects of the 2011 tornado. We stayed here for a family get together. I would not camp here again. We camped at a pull-through site in the field so we would get some sunshine. The roads are gravel and are in poor condition. The sites were mostly grass, but are not level. The water pressure was extremely low, although I was able to take a shower. The mens restrooms needs to be updated they are in very poor condition, broken urinal, peeling paint. They need major work. There is only one restroom for the entire campgrounds. There is junk everywhere, old picnic tables, old trucks, old equipment, old everything. Most of the campers are seasonal. There is a pond for fishing and swimming, if you dare. This campground is clean, but cluttered. The only problem I have is that every Memorial Day, the bathrooms get disgusting and never have any soap. The toilet paper does get replenished but the toilets all stay stopped up. The owners are friendly and cooperative and serve awesome sundaes on Sunday for $3. Our family is quite large and they are very accommodating and even provide a large fire ring so we can have one huge fire. We camped at Village Green Family Campground in a Tent.Undo

THE GOOD: It was close to home and has level, large sites. THE BAD: Almost too much to say. Junk and rotting trailers parked at the entrance. A mountain of debris (mostly scrap metal) out front by the office. A group of tents next to us that had a hatchback opened with rap going well into dark. Some seasonal people creating a domestic disturbance at midnight. The children of the "domestic" couple went in my trailer while we went to the beach area. Went through drawers. Not sure if anything was taken but drawer contents were on the floor. Seasonal trailers that should be condemned. Swimming pond was pretty nasty. CONCLUSION: Never again We camped at Village Green Family Campground in a Motorhome.Undo

There were 4 positives about our stay at the Village Green Campground. The office staff was very friendly, the price was right, the sites for overnighters were large and easy to get into, and it was the closest campground to our intended destination in Brimfield. On the negative side, the electrical power fluctuated from about 117 volts to less than 102 volts (where our EMS unit shut off power to the motor home due to low voltage to prevent damage to electrical components - that happened continually), water pressure was extremely low, the overall appearance of the area around the office area was cluttered, and half of the washers (2 of 4) and one of the 4 dryers in the laundry were not working. Most of the spaces are extended stay sites, but the overnight spaces are isolated from them by trees, the laundry/restroom building, and the rec center While not highly satisfied with this campground, we would stay here again under the same circumstances. There were other campgrounds west of Brimfield that we did not visit, and we would check them out before staying at the Village Green next time. NOT MUCH FOR THE KIDS TO DO. DID NOT LIKE THE TRACTOR BEING DRIVEN ALL OVER THE BALL FIELD. THE OWNERS ARE NICE BUT NOT MUCH OFFERED. We camped at Village Green Family Campground in a Travel Trailer.Undo
The owners are friendly, and know all the regulars that come to stay throughout the summer. There are many kid and family activities during the summer and holiday weekends. We camped at Village Green Family Campground in a camper.Undo
