Excellent campground. Clean, well kept sites with lots of friendly service. Restrooms excellent too. I felt the weekend rate was high but once you see all the Patriot fans roll in you can understand the premium. We camped at Normandy Farms in a Motorhome.

Stadium with mall near by. About an hour from Boston and Cape Cod. There's a great bike path along the Blackstone River in Rode Island a little over a half hour drive from the campground.

Very large park, gravel roads and large gravel spaces many with concrete patios. Spaces are very open with lots of room. Several pools including an indoor pool. Very nice personnel. They lead you to your space. Number code must be used for incoming or going out. Very high water pressure (80-100), must have a regulator. Nice roads inside park. Nice easy access roads to get to park. Very weak WiFI. Many spaces are open enough for satelite but many are surrounded by trees (their site map is very accurate showing the trees). We camped at Normandy Farms in a Motorhome.

We had an excellent experience. This is one of the top 5 campgrounds we have ever stayed in, and we have been full timing for 12 years. All of the employees were very helpful and friendly as it was our first time in the area, and we had several questions. We camped at Normandy Farms in a Motorhome.

Have camped here last few years for a week. Fabulous is all I can say. Immaculate. Great staff and amenities. I will say they do not tolerate rowdy behavior or excessive alcohol intake, thank goodness. A great family place. That's why they are booked solid !! Bring lots of candy bars for candy bar bingo. This place is IMMACULATE. And everything works. Nothing seems out of place or out of service. We were passing through and planned one night, but we ended up staying a second night and booking a week for next year. There were lots of activities for kids and adults. The staff were very engaging and all seem to like working there. The dog park is amazing and well maintained. There were too many things to do to include everything in the review. Next year I am going to learn to play Frisbee Golf. One thing I would change is adding time for adult swimming - at least at the indoor pool and hot tub. Currently it is from 8-9 PM and then virtually everything shuts down. It would be nice if they added another hour to 10 PM or something like 8:30 to 10 PM.

Book early. Reservations are difficult to get. We camped at Normandy Farms in a Motorhome.

After having a wonderful time in 2017 we decided to rebook for 2018. We returned to a completely different atmosphere. Normandy farms has turned into an excessively rule bound campground where kids cannot be kids and adults can only whisper after 11 pm or face the wrath of two grey haired gentlemen who police the sites on a mission to "stomp out" family fun! While I understand and agree, there must be rules to promote a safe environment for all, as long as someone is not being hurt, offended or put in danger, there is no reason a rule should exist. Here are just a few examples of what we experienced or witnessed during our stay: Kids being kicked out of the pool for yelling "cannonball" they didn't do a cannonball, just yelled the word - kids being told they can't play Marco Polo because it is somehow offensive. Someone please enlighten me on this one? - kids being yelled at for having a super ball in the pool - the bike rack at the main lodge being stalked by camp staff when the sun goes down so they can yell at the kids for riding their bikes back to their campsites after evening activities...ridiculous. Adults being told no music after 11, when they didn't even have music playing. I guess his hearing might need attention. Adults being told they have to whisper during quiet hours. Bottom line: if you're a retiree who wants lights out at sundown, and children not to have fun, then this is the place for you!! If you have a family and want to enjoy the facilities without the annoyance of cranky old men who think they are camp cops, don't waste your time!! They do get high marks for amenities and cleanliness. Well maintained, level an spacious. We camped at Normandy Farms in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

This is the perfect private park RV resort. It's close to Boston (35 miles), but yet the immediate area is somewhat rural so no bumper to bumper traffic in the campground neighborhood. This would not be the case if you come in during a Patriots home game as it's very close to the stadium. Getting to the park was easy, the interior roads are wide and easy to navigate. The sites are fairly level and gravel packed. This park is huge. Multiple swimming pools, disc golf, large beautiful dog park, plenty of activities like horseshoes and shuffle board. We were here in the peak season of summer and it was packed full of kids but due to all of the scheduled activities and things for them to do, they weren't bored and running amuck. The staff is extremely customer focused and available for any needs. The bathrooms and showers were clean. The sites in the area we stayed at are fairly spacious and semi wooded. Free wifi was decent (speeds about 2-3 D and got a little bogged down during peak hours. But still usable for basic browsing. Cable was strong and the 50 amp FHU was reliable. The traffic in Boston is horrendous so even though it's only 35 miles, plan on an hour if you want to drive into Boston. You can also follow the campground's advice and drive to the nearest subway station and then ride that in. We used our hotspots for streaming. Verizon (10 D/2.5 U) and ATT(5.5 D/1U) unboosted. No usable T mobile for data. Bring a water pressure regulator, they require it due to high pressure. There's laundry on site but we chose to use a laundromat, 1-Stop laundromat, which was a 15 min drive. Would rate that laundromat a 3.5 out of 5 stars. If I were back in the area again, I would not even consider staying anywhere else. This was 1 of the nicest RV parks we've been to in our 2 yrs on the road full time. We camped at Normandy Farms in a Motorhome.

My favorite part was the enormous shady fenced dog play area. We don't have children so did not make use of the many activities/amenities for children. Sites are very close together. Took advantage of on site massage. Convenient to the highway and shopping/restaurants. Bathrooms and showers were very nice and clean, but could have used more hot water; ran out one time and there was no hot water another time. We camped at Normandy Farms in a Motorhome.

This is a very well run and maintained destination park. There are employees everywhere. Staff is very friendly. Roads are blacktop with speed bumps. I had no trouble negotiating the roads to our site. Our escort was knowledgeable and friendly. You must enter a code to enter and leave the park. When we were there an employee was always at the gate to enter your code for you going in and out. Sites are fairly close to each other but not annoyingly close. Grass between sites. There are several swimming pools that were clean and had staff members to assist you - NOT LIFEGUARDS - just workers. Restaurant at the area that had two pools. Food was good. Our site was gravel and level. Patio was concrete. Lots to do here. Tennis, basketball etc. I didn't use the restrooms or showers. We drove to the mass transit station and took the train into Boston to sightsee. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Normandy Farms in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Normandy Farms is most-definitely a family-friendly, destination resort. There is absolutely no need to go anywhere for entertainment once you have arrived here...fitness center, four swimming pools (one is indoor), spa, basketball, tennis, pickleball, shuffleboard, weekend restaurant, recreation lodge with the indoor swimming pool and game rooms (one is adult-only), baseball diamond, bmx bike track, three children's playgrounds, disc golf course, horseshoes, bocce ball, fishing pond...the list goes on and on. There are a variety of sites...full sun, shade, full hook-ups, partial hook-ups, tent sites, yurts, cabins, pull-through, back-in, concrete patios, no patio...something for everyone. Sites in the 1200s - 1500s are definitely satellite-friendly sites...others are hit-and-miss (more miss than hit), so if that is a need of yours, you will want to reserve one of those sites. Roads within the park are gravel, as are the sites, although as previously mentioned, some do have concrete patios. This is a gated park, with a code needed for both entrance and exit. When checking in, we found the office staff very friendly and extremely helpful with information about visiting Boston, and the best methods to get there. In addition to providing info about Boston and areas outside the park to visit, the park itself offers a multitude of social activities for all ages. There is also a small store within the registration building, providing essentials and souvenirs. If we ever return to the area, we would stay at Normandy Farms without hesitation. We camped at Normandy Farms in a Motorhome.

This is a large campground but is very well run. Most of the sites are large and level. While walking around, saw a few that were sloped, but most are good. The section I was in was mostly shaded. Some areas were in the sun for those that like that or need satellite reception. The CG cable had quite a few channels. There are lots of amenities at the CG, but I was in the Boston area to visit my son so I did not use any except for the spacious dog park. The CG is well kept and landscaped. The staff were friendly and helpful in figuring the best way to take public transportation into Boston. The nearest T station (subway) is about a 30 min drive where they have a large parking garage ($7/day). It's about a 30-40 min subway ride into the center of Boston. Time consuming, but traffic in Boston is bad and parking is very expensive. We camped at Normandy Farms in a Motorhome.

Dear Randy and Sharon,
Thank you so much for your in depth review of the park, I'm so happy that you found us to be a convenient home base while visiting your son in Boston. Sounds like our Concierge was able to assist you in planning your trips into the city. The subway is so much less stressful than driving into the city - and you can't beat the price! I do hope you'll visit with us again and that your journey home was a safe one.

Just about impossible to find anything wrong with this park. Water pressure was great. Everything was very clean, including the dumpsters, LOL! Showers are heated, individual, locking rooms. I used the laundry and that also was very clean. We were there in a 40' MH just after they opened for the season. There are a lot of activities, but we did not make use of them. It is very family oriented with lots of kids, so if I were to come back, I'd do it out of season. We camped at Normandy Farms in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a most outstanding campground. If the majority of other campgrounds were 1/2 as nice, the industry would have an entire different perception. This is one of the relatively few places that truly can call themselves a camping "resort". As other reviews have shared, the people, facilities, activities and amenities are matched by few. They even have a "concierge" on staff who we observed being very detailed and helpful to a couple looking for customized itinerary in the area. We typically use a campground as a place to park and base from to explore the area. We found ourselves not wanting to leave during the day and instead enjoy the facility. Next time we will stay longer to do both. The location is ideal for visiting Cape Cod, Rhode Island and greater Boston. Love their fire pits that are banked against giant boulders to push the heat towards you and protect the neighboring site. As soon as RV departs, team members come and put out the embers, rake the fire pit and clean it up for the next guest. Even Disney doesn't do that. Some of the sites have pretty good shade that will interfere with satellite so inquire about that if you want to use your dish. We camped at Normandy Farms in a Motorhome.
