Character, this CG has lots of it. This is not the kind of park that you want to use as a "quarter mile off the interstate pull-in sleep and leave" kind of place. You'll want to stay for at least a couple days. Though the entrance driveway and interior roads are somewhat hilly the sites themselves are level. Many of the fire pits are large cut stone structures, almost art. The pool, recreation area (tether, basket and volley ball plus bocce and horseshoes etc) and dog walk are set off to the side so even if they were full of screaming kids, the rest of the park would still be tranquil. Charming "gaslights" along the roads enhance your evening stroll. Good wi-fi and cable. What's not to like? We camped at Boston Minuteman Campground in a Motorhome.

First time back here in 5-6 years. Not far from our home, so came often before we retired. Pleased to find that the campground is still a great place. The sites are all in a in a wooded area, of mostly fir trees. A heat wave occurred while we were there and the setting was ideal. Sites are gravel and dirt, but during heavy rain they drain very quickly. The staff are very helpful and have answers regarding area attractions, including access to Boston. We camped at Boston Minuteman Campground in a Motorhome.

We thoroughly enjoyed this campground. Our site was nice and level and relatively easy to back in to. Some sites were a little close together, but still didn't feel too cramped. Laundry room was great. Restrooms were clean and spacious. We didn't use th showers, but they looked ok. There was a fairly well-stocked camp store with the basics. We were told there was a parking lot for the transit into Boston just about 10 minutes away, but we didn't use it ourselves. Not much around, so no road noise. We camped at Boston Minuteman Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Price reflects additional charge of $14.00 per night for our two daughters. Basic rate of $54.00 per night is for two adults. First of all, if you don't read any further, we would definitely stay here again. It was a great place to base out of to see Concord/Lexington. Our back in site was level and angled so that it was very easy to get into. WiFi is free and was fast enough for checking email and web surfing. Our youngest complained that it was not fast enough to stream YouTube and I explained to her that it is not supposed to be. The roads were gravel and easy to navigate with our pickup and 31' travel trailer. The paths through the park are asphalt and well maintained, making it easy to get around. The park itself is well maintained, we saw a lot of everyday maintenance being done by the staff. This tells me that the park is going to stay nice. There is a pool and a hot tub but we did not use it though there were many others enjoying them. There were water restrictions in place, no camper washing, for instance. We did not find that it impacted us at all, the showers and the restrooms were fine and water pressure at the site was not an issue. All in all, an excellent place to stay. We camped at Boston Minuteman Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Camp is nice and clean, including restrooms and laundry. Staff is friendly and helpful. The roads thru the campground are quite narrow in spots. Backing into some of these sites is quite tricky. Fortunately the campers across from us were out the day we arrived because I'm not sure we could've swung into the spot had their truck been parked on their site. The site itself was fairly private and spacious. Had a nice picnic table and fire ring. We travel in a 40' motorhome with tow. We camped at Boston Minuteman Campground in a Motorhome.

Excellent park for the Boston area. Our site was woodsy and pretty in a private area with 4 other motorhomes. Full hook-ups worked fine. Good cable TV, no satellite. Office staff were wonderful. There is a gated pet area where dogs can be off leash. We filled up on propane on the way out. We camped at Boston Minuteman Campground in a Motorhome.

This is possibly the campground nearest to the city of Boston which I suppose explains the high rate. On the plus side we had a large back-in site with full hookups, 50 amp electric and cable. It was large with a private feel to it with lots of trees and shade. The site surface is dirt and pine needles. The bathrooms and showers are very nice and reasonably clean, although they could use more light. On the negative side, the driveways are bad, gravel, dirt, rutted, rough and dusty. There is free WiFi but we were only able to use it about 10% of the time. AT&T signal strength was -82 dBm, good. We camped at Boston Minuteman Campground in a Motorhome.

Located in an unexpected forest setting. Thought we were in a wooded setting out west. Could tell it was a former KOA. Campground was somewhat dusty because of the dirt and trees. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Had some electrical issues because of the heat and many AC units being run. Staff sought to accommodate campers in a very positive manner. Scheduled new arrivals to lessen power load on some circuits. Campground is close to Lexington and Concord. Also visited Lowell. Could also go into Boston from the campground. Good base for exploring. We camped at Boston Minuteman Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for 1 week while we explored Boston. It was a very convenient location for getting around Boston. It is a little small for our 43' Truck Conversion, and the roads leading to the sites are steep and narrow. The site itself was not level and required some blocks to get it level. There was a rock fire pit in each site and a picnic table. It got quite smoky at night there. We were unable to get Dish there as there were so many trees we couldn't get a signal. The internet was free and worked great the first day we were there, then we weren't able to get on again for the rest of the week. It seemed constantly dark and dreary in the park due to all the trees. We had difficulty getting in and out of the site and the park with all the low tree branches. The washrooms, shower and laundry were clean. The office staff were very nice. We camped at Boston Minuteman Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed at Minuteman Campground as a location to visit friends and relatives in the Boston area. Its proximity to I-495 is a real plus.

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. We were guided to our site, which was good, as the layout was a bit confusing at first, as well as being hilly and just a bit tight. There was no problem getting in to our site. There were many big motor homes and fifth wheels that seemed to navigate the layout just fine. They just took it slowly. I am always amazed at the skill of the big rig drivers.

The campground was extremely clean and well kept. Lots of tall pine trees kept everything very shaded. It reminded me of camping at a state park. Everything at our full hookup site worked very well including Wi-Fi. The majority of sites were well spaced. Expect to have to do some leveling. All in all a very good experience. We would definitely return. We camped at Boston Minuteman Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here for a week while exploring Boston and Salem. We did have a difficult time backing into our site because of the rocks at the front and the narrow road the site was situated on. It was not level at all and needed two leveling blocks under the left tires. The site itself was very wide once you got in, but for a 35' fifth wheel and 3/4 ton truck in the same space, the length could have been longer, even with parking the truck perpendicular to the RV. The park itself is very nice and quiet. We did not use pool, but saw many families in it during the day. The site had a very nice fire pit and picnic table. Utilities were solid, as was TV lineup, wifi and Verizon cell coverage. In the end, we would return if we are able to choose a more accessible site. We camped at Boston Minuteman Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

The West Concord train station is about a 20 minute drive and will cost $15-17 one way into Boston. Because the train tracks are being overhauled on the weekends until November, you'll need to drive 40 minutes to the Alewife subway station. The price is much cheaper but the drive is a little inconvenient.

I loved the ambience of this small campground. Although the sites were a bit tight, the curves and hills made it quite nice. Each site had its own natural rock fire pit. It's about an hour west of Boston. It was after Labor Day, so the pool was closed. The shower and restrooms were old but very clean. I found one staff member that was not very personable, but others were helpful. Cable and Wifi were included. We were there during the week and the wifi worked wonderfully. The Good Sam membership gave us 10% off the posted nightly rate. We camped at Boston Minuteman Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Thanks to another RV Park reviewer, I got a tip that saved quite a bit of money. So I'd like to pass it on. About 15 minutes from the campground is a Tractor Supply Store where the propane was $1.79/gal. At the campground they charge $3.99/gal.
