We stayed here for 1 week while we explored Boston. It was a very convenient location for getting around Boston. It is a little small for our 43' Truck Conversion, and the roads leading to the sites are steep and narrow. The site itself was not level and required some blocks to get it level. There was a rock fire pit in each site and a picnic table. It got quite smoky at night there. We were unable to get Dish there as there were so many trees we couldn't get a signal. The internet was free and worked great the first day we were there, then we weren't able to get on again for the rest of the week. It seemed constantly dark and dreary in the park due to all the trees. We had difficulty getting in and out of the site and the park with all the low tree branches. The washrooms, shower and laundry were clean. The office staff were very nice. We camped at Boston Minuteman Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed at Minuteman Campground as a location to visit friends and relatives in the Boston area. Its proximity to I-495 is a real plus.

The staff was very pleasant and helpful. We were guided to our site, which was good, as the layout was a bit confusing at first, as well as being hilly and just a bit tight. There was no problem getting in to our site. There were many big motor homes and fifth wheels that seemed to navigate the layout just fine. They just took it slowly. I am always amazed at the skill of the big rig drivers.

The campground was extremely clean and well kept. Lots of tall pine trees kept everything very shaded. It reminded me of camping at a state park. Everything at our full hookup site worked very well including Wi-Fi. The majority of sites were well spaced. Expect to have to do some leveling. All in all a very good experience. We would definitely return. We camped at Boston Minuteman Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here for a week while exploring Boston and Salem. We did have a difficult time backing into our site because of the rocks at the front and the narrow road the site was situated on. It was not level at all and needed two leveling blocks under the left tires. The site itself was very wide once you got in, but for a 35' fifth wheel and 3/4 ton truck in the same space, the length could have been longer, even with parking the truck perpendicular to the RV. The park itself is very nice and quiet. We did not use pool, but saw many families in it during the day. The site had a very nice fire pit and picnic table. Utilities were solid, as was TV lineup, wifi and Verizon cell coverage. In the end, we would return if we are able to choose a more accessible site. We camped at Boston Minuteman Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

The West Concord train station is about a 20 minute drive and will cost $15-17 one way into Boston. Because the train tracks are being overhauled on the weekends until November, you'll need to drive 40 minutes to the Alewife subway station. The price is much cheaper but the drive is a little inconvenient.

I loved the ambience of this small campground. Although the sites were a bit tight, the curves and hills made it quite nice. Each site had its own natural rock fire pit. It's about an hour west of Boston. It was after Labor Day, so the pool was closed. The shower and restrooms were old but very clean. I found one staff member that was not very personable, but others were helpful. Cable and Wifi were included. We were there during the week and the wifi worked wonderfully. The Good Sam membership gave us 10% off the posted nightly rate. We camped at Boston Minuteman Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Thanks to another RV Park reviewer, I got a tip that saved quite a bit of money. So I'd like to pass it on. About 15 minutes from the campground is a Tractor Supply Store where the propane was $1.79/gal. At the campground they charge $3.99/gal.

We always have a great experience at Minuteman. What a great little place! We make it a point to stay here every year, and we love it! Very cozy, quiet, and the layout is perfect, so you feel like you're camping in the forest by yourself. We camped at Boston Minuteman Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Very helpful front desk, provided info for touring Boston via subway and location of local restaurants and shopping. Very nice spacious site. Great Grocery not far away. Friendly, helpful employees. We camped at Boston Minuteman Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Shaws grocery recommended, big with great selection. Green Line Subway to Boston worked well.

Beautiful clean park. We had a lovely wooded spot but limbs were cut high enough that we didn't have any problems. Even though sites are small, most of them border a woods on at least one side so they feel isolated. Cleanest restrooms and public areas we have ever seen. Really unique fire pits. Staff was great. Had a tornado warning one afternoon and they made sure everyone in the cpground was in the shelter. Convenient to Boston. Took the commuter rail into the city three times. No seasonal people at all. We camped at Boston Minuteman Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Check out Kimball Farm in Littleton- ice cream, miniature golf, etc. Take the commuter rail to Boston

Steep hills, gravel roads and sites, large rocks and trees. This campground is in a pine forest and reminds me of a county park, therefore the price should be lower.

Very tight getting a 40 footer around and level. Mostly tents and fifth wheels here.

So many campfires that it is hard to breathe. We camped at Boston Minuteman Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall we were very happy with our stay and our site. The campground is wooded and heavy shade (which we like since we don't care about satellite TV). Our site was a little tight but was adequate. The sites are reasonable level but we needed to use a couple boards under our front tires. The site across from us was more spacious (it was a back-in and we had requested a pull-through). The roads through the campground were a little tight for big rigs, but were passable as long as you take it slow. We did not use many of the amenities since we were in the Boston area to visit family but the pool looked nice. While we were there the mosquitoes were pretty bad and limited our night time activities (walking and campfires). We camped at Boston Minuteman Campground in a Motorhome.

This place was great. Site was spacious, facilities were clean pool and recreation facilities were great. Everyone was very friendly. They have 2 dog parks, ping pong and games, horse shoe pits, bean bags, basketball, tether ball and more. We camped at Boston Minuteman Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Less than 1 hour from Lowell National Historic Park (Hidden Gem) and Lexington and Concord.

This was a 2 night stopover on our way to Acadia NP. It is a really nice park, heavily wooded. The roads wind through the trees and it looks quite intimidating for big rigs at first glance. But the roads are laid out well and back-ins are relatively easy. There is free wifi throughout the park, but it runs slow at peak usage times. Every site has a fire pit made from local stones, and a picnic table. Satellite reception is zero. This is a heavily wooded park. Both AT&T & Verizon worked well here. We camped at Boston Minuteman Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

We weren't here long enough to really evaluate the area, but if you turn left out of the park you will find Lazy Mary's cafe a few miles down the road on the right. They have pizza, hot & cold deli sandwiches, hot dogs and an impressive dessert selection.

Just a so-so park in our opinion. Very wooded and hilly!! We had an AAU Baseball Tournament in Northboro and this was the best we could get for our 42' coach. Front desk people were nice. They had a man help us back down to our back-in site that wasn't easy! So we appreciated that help.
Hook-ups were on the edge of a steep soft shouldered drop off on our site #69. Leveling was true and water pressure was acceptable. They had a pool and some activities for children.
Nothing negative to say otherwise for this average park.
Not sure we'd choose to stay again if not for another tournament. We camped at Boston Minuteman Campground in a Motorhome.

Campground is very hilly and heavily wooded. Wide level site with only one neighbor in sight. Probably the cleanest laundry room that we have ever seen (but not the cheapest). Easy access to Boston, but if you have a long-bed pickup use the "T" (Metro). The office staff will show you where to get onto the Red Line. If we return to Boston, we will stay here again. We camped at Boston Minuteman Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

What a PRICE - but, only thing in the area. Had Good Sam with W/E only and still Very costly for a 'traveler'. If you were staying for awhile they do have pool and activities but a weeks cost would really set you back! Used as a base to see National Parks / Minute Man - Lowell and State Park is close by as an option. Antenna reception good, cell phone good, fuel and grocery close by. Propane was $3.50 gl. here - drive 15 min. to Tractor Supply Co. $1.99. It IS a beautiful park with trees and sites pretty well designed. We camped at Boston Minuteman Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Spent two nights, nice friendly staff. Nice wooded sites with plenty of space between sites. Site length was adequate for size of our trailer (20'). Space to park vehicle was not level. Would stay here again. We camped at Boston Minuteman Campground in a Travel Trailer.
