Our first visit. Very nice campground. Staff was very friendly and helpful, guiding us to our site and helping with set-up. Nice level sites with plenty of shade. Campground maintenance paid extreme attention to cleanliness of sites evacuated. Would highly recommend this campground. We camped at Boston Minuteman Campground in a Motorhome.

Lovely, peaceful campground amid tall pine trees. Clean pool, family friendly, but not noisy. Cable included but scratchy. Good cellular coverage with T Mobile and Verizon. Convenient location to Boston's Historic Sites. Watch the steep entry: seems to have evidence of long trailers scraping the pavement. Would definitely stay here again!! We camped at Boston Minuteman Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

We spent the morning at Minuteman National Park in Lexington, and then Concord. Lovely lunch at Main Street Market, downtown Concord. Took a commuter train to Boston out of Littletown (or Ayers). Nearby Market Basket mall had pizza and frozen yogurt. Kimball Farms is a must do for families: restaurants, ice cream, driving range, bumper cars/boats, batting cage, and the most beautiful putt-putt golf course I have seen. Super friendly staff.

This is a very pretty park with a mix of RV sites, pull-thrus and back-ins, cabins and tent sites. The roads into the park and in the park are easy to navigate. Check in was fast and friendly, they have a small store with basic needs. You are guided to your site. We were in Site A, a back in with full hook ups, no issues with any of them. The site was wider than normal, with room to store our tow-dolly, a picnic table and beautiful fire-pit made from large boulders. There is plenty to do. They have a pool, playground and game room. Bocce Ball court, ladder-ball, and corn-hole in their activity area away from the campground sites, along with a very nice fenced dog park. WiFI was good and our Verizon signal was strong. Did not use the laundry, bathroom was clean. We stayed July 5-9, 2018 and paid $54.90 a night with no discounts. We camped at Boston Minuteman Campground in a Motorhome.

This was a wonderful place to stay while visiting Boston and the surroundings area. The people in the office were extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about the area. Our site was a large shaded back in. We will absolutely stay here again if we ever return to the area. We camped at Boston Minuteman Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Lovely, wooded campground. Nice swimming pool. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Navigating to our spot in our 38' MH with toad was a bit tight but doable. We had site #1, one of their few pull-throughs. It was very spacious on the passenger side with a nice fire ring and table. No satellite coverage - too many trees. Cable was good. Water pressure and WiFi were good. Nice size wooded and enclosed dog park. There are mosquitoes, but not bad if you put on repellent. We camped at Boston Minuteman Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This park was a wonderful place to spend a week near Boston. We felt like we were in a state park campground, not a commercial RV park. All the sites were heavily wooded and had some privacy even though they were actually fairly close to one another. The campground itself was hilly but they did a good job making the sites level, even the long ones for big rigs. When we first pulled in off the main road and saw the place we were worried about being able to fit in our 40' motorhome but our site was plenty long and spacious. The roads through the campground were definitely a bit tight for big rigs but we managed. Both Verizon and AT&T worked well. There's a decent size fenced dog park and lots of sports/activity areas for humans too. Since it's not a very big campground we did quickly run out of places to walk our active dog, so we regularly took him to Great Hill Recreation Area about 15 minutes away to hike the miles of trails and swim in the lake. It was about a 1h 10m drive to downtown Boston, or you can take the trains (around the same time, more expensive, somewhat less hassle). Some local friends wanted to stop by to check out our new motorhome, and unfortunately the campground has a visitor fee. We stayed for a week which meant a 20% discount, making the site more reasonably priced than the normal daily rate which is a bit high. We'd stay here again. We camped at Boston Minuteman Campground in a Motorhome.

A very nice park set in the woods, almost like a state park. Sites are spread around to give some privacy. Wifi worked well, but there were few campers here during our stay. Verizon worked well. The interior roads are tight for a big rig but you are led to your site so there was no problem. The trees are trimmed up so you do not hit them. The office people were very friendly and helpful. They have cable and many OTA channels available. We would stay here again when in the area. We camped at Boston Minuteman Campground in a Motorhome.

This facility is easily reached and any updated GPS will take you right to the front gate. Don't be alarmed by the steep entrance road it is paved and wide and easy to negotiate. Customer service is first rate. We were checked in quickly and with no issues; and, we were then escorted to our site. The roads in the park in our section were dirt, with no overhanging trees, but they were narrow and required some careful navigation. The main cg area is tight and crowded. Our site was hard packed dirt, reasonably level but very narrow. For some reason the ground appears to hold water making it a bit muddy well after a rainstorm. All utilities and the sewer connection were within a reasonable distance and presented no problems in terms of hook up. There was decent shade. Verizon wi-fi was acceptable. The park overall was very well maintained and taken care of. The laundry room was clean and the machines reasonably priced. I believe the per night price we paid was a bit high for just 30 amp service. We would probably return again if in the area. We camped at Boston Minuteman Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

This campground makes an excellent base camp for touring the historical sights of Salem, Boston, and Lexington-Concord. Just make sure you allow yourself enough time to see all the sights, we didn't and regret it. We just didn't realize at the time how much there was to see and do.

Easy commute in and out of Boston. Nice large site with fire pit and table. Trees were trimmed high enough to our 13' high coach to fit comfortably under. Lots of exposed tree root to trip you but that's what camping is all about. We were in the site just across from the office. The main cg area is tight and crowded. We were very happy with where we were assigned. The park sign is hard to see as it is hidden behind tree branches. When leaving with your unit, recommend turning right as traffic is very heavy and fast. If you go right there is a very good turnaround on the left just before the traffic light. Safety first. We would stay again. We camped at Boston Minuteman Campground in a Motorhome.

Make sure to do the Freedom Trail, dine in the North End, and visit President Kennedy's Presidential Library. The Library has original news films, Jackie O dresses, dishes, and other nostalgic items. Very interesting and well presented.

We have stayed at this campground before and were happy to reserve here again while visiting family in the Boston area. Sites are located under very tall evergreen trees, and our site was fairly private with woods on one side. Some sites in the interior part of the park are less private. The dog park was appreciated! Managers are friendly and helpful, and all facilities were clean and in good order. There was some road noise during the night which is perhaps to be expected in an urban area. We camped at Boston Minuteman Campground in a Motorhome.

Good location for visiting Boston and Lexington-Concord area. Layout is more similar to a State park than an RV park, ie not a large area of parallel parking spaces. Lots of trees (which I like), but navigating through park was not difficult. Staff was helpful with information on travel into Boston. Spot was long enough for 5th wheel , but had to disconnect truck. We camped at Boston Minuteman Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Really liked this campground. Camping in the woods. Vegetation between sites. Fire pit made out of boulders. Clean hot showers and bathrooms. Make sure to have bug spray. Checked in pretty early on a rainy day. Asked man working the counter if I should leave and return later. He looked at his book and found a site for us. He was also busy with a potential customer on the phone. Appreciate him getting us in so early. Everyone we met that works there seems helpful. They have information available on the trains and buses into Boston. We are from a small town in Iowa and were able to get to the subway (T)and take it into Boston on our own after some research. The T takes you right to Park St which is Boston Commons and also by the visitor center. Would stat at this campground again. We both regret not going into Boston a second day. We had a very nice pull thru site. Great trees. The escort to the site was one of the best we have ever had. He helped us position our 5th wheel just so to get the maximum benefit from the site. Good cable, park is too treed for any satellite access. Two dog parks - one is only suitable to small dogs, but the one out front can accomodate larger dogs. Little sports activity area in the same area. Make sure that you accurately described your site when making reservations as there were a few sites that are on the diagonal to each other. With a larger rv, the tow vehicle or toad may partially block the other site. Park is convenient to Boston via either train or subway. We were advised to use the subway line due to parking requirements for our crew cab dually truck. As it turned our we could access the closer train at the West Concord station. We camped at Boston Minuteman Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
