1 Park near Middleboro, Massachusetts
Sep 2015 - $47.00
We stayed here twice while attending family events (and visiting Maine in between). The park itself is very nice. Lots of woods & shade. Lots of kids, but still relatively quiet. An enjoyable place to stay. Both times we stayed in the wooded area at the far back area of the campground.
However, I 'd suggest you check your site before settling in. At our first site, the sewer connection was UPHILL from where the RV could be parked, making it unusable (since, you know, stuff doesn't flow uphill). During our second visit, there was no way we could level the RV ... there was just too much slope on the site. The motorhomes on either side of us were jack up so high that both front wheels were completely off the ground. Ours were, too, but there was still a distinct down angle toward the front of the coach. Enough to be noticeable. Next time we visit we'll stay in another part of the campground where the sites looked to be more level. - VA-Parrothead
Jul 2015 - $58.00
Located near Plymouth, we enjoyed this park very much. We had a large pull thru site off to the side, near the pool area. Easy to get in and out of, it was overlooking a large meadow. The CG was perfect for exploring Plymouth. We also took the ferry from Plymouth to Provincetown therefore avoiding the long drive and traffic on Cape Cod. Our 50 Amp and cable were great, and the Wifi was relatively good, although I used my Sprint 'Hot Spot" most of the time. We'd stay here again. - Gus the Fireant
Jun 2015 - $71.00
There are few CG options for a 45' MH in this area, & the season is short, so we did not question the hefty price. We have stayed here before, so knew that the phone (verizon) & satellite service are spotty due to the many tall trees about, unavoidable in this heavily wooded area. This KOA is in need of some TLC, no matter the price. There were lots of friendly work campers about, but our site - a nice patio site - on arrival was dirty and the electric breakers on, sewer cap broken. Trash dumpsters throughout the park were full to overflowing with trash all around on the ground and the smell of garbage all about. They were not emptied until day 3 of our stay. The 50 amp breaker was bad & we had to wait a day for replacement, but then had no more problems with electric. With some care & clean-up, this rating would be much higher. - Dzlpshr
