Overall Rating:

This is a rather large and wooded campground. We stayed in the 'H' section which is somewhat removed from the main campground. This area had many seasonal sites, but no park models. They were noisy, but not loud.. There was a lot of golf cart traffic. On the map this looks like all pull-thru sites, but due to the grade, many are only back-in. After leaving the paved road, the interior roads were bumpy gravel. Our site was relatively level, but was a gravel and mud. The nightly rate is $60, but Friday is considered a 'holiday' with an $82 rate. It was camper appreciation weekend so we got a free night. It all worked out to $45.50 a night. The utilities were located in the center of the site, but because we had to back to the rear of the site to park the car, they were far forward. The sewer was at the rear. Water pressure was quite high (110psi according to the camp map), so a pressure regulator is a must. The voltage was a strong 120v, but did occasionally drop as low as 112v. The cable TV had a good selection of stations. The Wi-Fi was good, but occasionally slow. The area we were in had a lot of pleasant smelling pine trees A nice campground close to Plymouth and Cape Cod. The area between the sites is uneven and muddy. We camped at Boston / Cape Cod KOA in a Motorhome.

Plymouth Rock about 17 miles away. Some good seafood restaurants in Plymouth. Cape Cod is a full day's drive, but worth it.

This is a really nice, well-organised park. The staff were very friendly and we had no problem changing our reservation to an earlier date when we found ourselves ahead of schedule. The interior roads are in great shape. Our site was slightly sloped, but it was easy to level. They have many mature trees and many amenities. It seems like a great place to take kids. The only thing we didn't like was the relatively high price. We camped at Boston / Cape Cod KOA in a Travel Trailer.

I read some of the posts about the issues with the park which I was worried about. However our experience was very different. The park is well maintained and there was a driver who passed by often checking on things. Garbage was picked up regularly and the park was very clean. The staff was very helpful and gave loads of info about the local sites and things to do. We had a very good time and will definitely return to this campground. This campground in very close to Plymouth rock and downtown Plymouth. There is a T Station a few miles away for easy access to Boston. And the Cape cod beaches are a short drive away.

Horrible experience! Out of CONTROL loud music, excessive traffic, loud profanity until 3 AM! Pool was nasty all weekend! Front desk staff is not capable of handling even small tasks in a timely manner. What you'll find here are "Locals" who come to PARTY all night long every weekend. They don't take the rules and policies serious, because no one enforces them! The kids run around getting into mischief and being unruly until all hours of the night. You will not see nice big rigs here. We ask for a picnic table 3 times. Water pressure is low. Power kept going off. New manager is UNQUALIFIED/Epic Failure! 1. Get REAL security. Police get called because the two old guys who patrol the place ride around with the windows up in the truck. 2. Hire capable customer service for the store and especially outside. How about the manager quit trying to impress corporate with all his "banking experience" counting beans and clean this place up. Can not recommend!!! This park is old, it has no pads, it has gravel roads, dirt sites and the cable tv service is hit or miss, ours stayed OUT almost all of the time we were there, they ran a cable across several sites to plug into another site and even then, it failed a few hours later. Office said rules were quiet time at 10:00 and absolutely no fires after 10:00 pm, there was a Work Kamper two sites next to us and there was a trailer pulled in next to us and next to the Work Kamper and they had 3 or 4 carloads of guys come in and all of them carrying cases of beer, they built a bonfire that worried me and they put speakers outside and blasting music all night, 2:30 am they were still going at it and the work kamper did nothing about it, I called the security number that the office gives out and it has a recording that says leave a message and they will get back to you the next day, that is some security isn't it! The racket next to us went on until after 4:15 am and so did the bonfire and the Campground Workers did nothing about it and said nothing about it and they did not charge all the visitors that stayed in and around the trailer until the next morning when all of them got up and left. This park is unruly and not a family orientated campground, someone should fire that staff and hire a staff that would post the rules and enforce the rules. I cannot and would NOT recommend this KOA, in fact it should not be called a KOA, it is not up to KOA standards. We camped at Boston / Cape Cod KOA in a Motorhome.

Kind of in the middle of nowhere. Park is a little in need of TLC. Stay away from the upper camping area, really bad roads and unlevel spaces. We were camping elsewhere and extended our vacation staying here. We were able to check out the campground the day before we moved there. Staff was very nice about letting us pick a different campsite. Store was sadly stocked. We camped at Boston / Cape Cod KOA in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This was our third stay at this campground and I'm not sure what's happened but things seem to have gone downhill. We stayed during the KOA free night which might be why it was so crowded so we only got a water/electric spot. It was not at all level and had lots of roots on dirt. Using the showers in the main building was odd because the shower head was on the side you walk in on so you have to get wet to turn on the shower. There's another shower for full-hookup sites which is better. As mentioned by other campers there are no rules enforced. On the Saturday night there were cars and trucks parked everywhere; some as many as four to a site. There's plenty of overflow parking but seems people don't want to walk. One couple waved through our door as they cut through our site. People across from us seemed to be long-term with large outside TV (loud) and a large black dog that barked a lot and often was off leash. Lots of trees but none that prevented backing in although the road was not in good condition. It is convenient to shopping and freeways and about halfway between Cape Cod and Boston. The wifi worked OK. Ask for a space along the back row which are full-hookups. We camped at Boston / Cape Cod KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Totally unsupervised park, NO control over anything. The park has an "Emergency After Hour Phone Number" listed on the check-in sheet and I called it, it states to leave a name and phone number and they will call you back the next day, WHAT AN ABSOLUTE JOKE! There is NO security in this park at all!!! The sites are dirty muddy sites, roads are gravel and it is out in the country away from anything and they charge like they are near the beach or activities, no stores of any kind are close, 7.5 miles to the closest yet they over-charge for this park. The park store has little to no supplies and no groceries either. This park is NOT up to the KOA standard for being a good park. This park needs to provide after-hour phone numbers that function as they should, they need a Security Staff to police the park and enforce quiet hours and visitors controlled on sites. Boston/Cape Cod KOA, strange that they even call it that because it is 45 minutes to Boston, an hour to Cape Cod both are FAR! I will NEVER again visit this park, hope I can share this for other RV'ers to avoid this park and the bad environment. We camped at Boston / Cape Cod KOA in a Motorhome.

This place is not for big rigs. Because of sharp turns and trees, parking was difficult. We had advanced reservations but one of our club members was forced to park across from the dumpsters because there was a another camper in their assigned spot. They sent some of our big rigs to an area where they were not able to pull out without going in a field. Wi-fi was there but not worth trying to get on. Water pressure and electric very good. Not worth $72. We camped at Boston / Cape Cod KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

It was an interesting stay this time around. Great campground with a ton of kids all having a great time which is good. They live on the 2 bouncy pillows which was fun to watch. As others have said, a lot of activities for the kids. The pool was very enjoyable but seems to be showing it's age as some repairs are needed but the water was great. The staff was friendly and the store was nice with most anything you would need. What made this stay interesting was a few of the rules or what should be rules were not followed. We have been camping for 27 years and have never seen so much cutting through sites, it is totally out of control. First we thought it was just the kids but then the parents started cutting through as well. There is a path for them to use but maybe it is not marked well. Constant cutting between trailers, between fire pits and trailers, it was just unbelievable. This is a huge pet peeve and it really takes away from the experience. Next was the non stop uncontrollable dog barking. All day and night and nothing is done about it. Most campgrounds would tell people they have to take their dog out but it went on and on. The final thing that bothered me was when I saw kids driving golf carts, talk about an accident waiting to happen. If we decide to return we will need to stay in another area I guess. We camped at Boston / Cape Cod KOA in a Travel Trailer.

All roads are big rig friendly...the sites are grass or mostly dirt..sites are fairly level and as most Koa's go the sites are somewhat close but I've seen worse...all services worked great, and I will give a SHOUT out to this campground, they warn you about high water pressure, in excess of 100 psi and I checked it with my gauge and it only goes to 100....so be warned use your reducer...best pressure I've ever seen....good cable, wifi slow so we used our hotspots, ATT had fair cell service...the showers were alright, they could use a upgrade but once again I've seen worse and they were clean....this is very family oriented campground with a lot for the kids to do...this is a great location if you want to explore the Boston, cape cod area and there is some noise from the road traffic outside the park but it didn't keep us up....we'd stay here again if in the area.... We camped at Boston / Cape Cod KOA in a Motorhome.

Set aside the usual adjective "overpriced", as are most KOA's. Great family campground with lots of activities for the young ones. Playgrounds, jump pillows, train rides, pool area, horse shoes, etc. Lots of kids, therefore the communal urinal (aka: the pool) was a bit murky. The men's bath/showers had used t.p. on the floor, the showers had mold/mildew on the tile grout, and one day the shower temperature was tepid at best. The luxury sites are level gravel with FHU's, patio, patio furniture, fire rings, & swing chairs. Heavy canopy of trees. We camped at Boston / Cape Cod KOA in a Motorhome.

This KOA chooses not to enforce its own rules. I contacted management, and they were nothing but apologists for the bad behavior of the known rule breakers. Plan on being woken from sleep many times at night, due to Harley riders revving their hogs, then speeding through the park at night, even after the 11 PM "quiet hours" cutoff. I was told that if these individuals were excluded "all I'd have left is a bunch of Priuses and tents." I was told that 20-25 campers have Harleys every year on Labor Day weekend, so nothing will be done. Everyone deserves to enjoy their camping experience, but not at the expense of others. There are plenty of parks in this area. Pick one where your peaceful enjoyment is a priority. We camped at Boston / Cape Cod KOA in a Motorhome.
