A very nice campground. The owners have put a lot of work into it in the last 21 years from their time of purchase. Although most sites are seasonal, there are some very nice transient sites. We camped there in a 38' fifth wheel and had plenty of room. The sites are for the most part deep and wide with a nice natural area of vegetation between you and the next site. Utilities are at the rear of the site. There are areas of nice open mowing's and a very nice tenting area. We were there during the week and it was very quiet and peaceful. Nice and relaxing. We will be going back. We camped at Peppermint Park Camping Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

This park is pristine with super friendly staff, excellent facilities, and beautiful sites. The pool is crystal clear, the activities are first rate, and the park is immaculate. There is pride in ownership here. If you want to take a walk or bike ride, watch a fabulous sunset or star gaze, enjoy a game of horseshoes, or just relax at your camper between the trees, you'll find it all here. They even give you a comp paper and continental breakfast on Sunday mornings!! Best park by far!! We camped at Peppermint Park Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Nicely maintained campground. Grounds are well kept. The sites are large with decent privacy. It is primarily a seasonal park. They are well kept with no permanent structures such as roofs and buildings. It was very quiet during our stay from Sunday to Friday. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our only problem was standing water after a rain that pooled around our door and awning area. The owner stopped by after I complained to the desk. She apologized and assured us that the problem would be taken care of. We agreed that the site required additional fill. It took awhile to dry out after the rain stopped, but we were able to use the area the next afternoon. We would stay here again. We camped at Peppermint Park Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

A relatively remote area. Very quiet with no road noise at all. Requires some driving to stores and restaurants.

Overall Rating:

A park filled with seasonals. We stayed for 4 days hoping to be in a location where we could see the mountains from our campsite, but no mountains within sight. It’s in the middle of nowhere – 7 miles to the nearest gas/minimal groceries. Check-in was efficient; the bathhouse was clean; showers hot and strong. We had a small site on the grass overlooking a meadow – perfectly pleasant and a relaxing atmosphere. Although we didn’t use it, the pool looked nice. I suspect it’s beautiful here in the fall when the leaves change. We camped at Peppermint Park Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

It is an attractive park in the Berkshires, which is a great location. There are many seasonal rv'ers whose RVs are here all year. If you stay for a month there is a reduced rate, but then in that case the electricity is separate. The grounds are very well-kept and the pool is very nice. WiFi works reasonably well most of the time in certain locations. In the rear of the park it does not work and cell phone reception is spotty. The staff is nice and helpful. The only problem we had was with the free showers in the south side of the park not being very hot. The paid showers at the office were warmer. Overall a very nice, quiet place to stay. Note: It gets crowded and even full on holidays and certain peak season weekends. There are very few RV parks in western Massachusetts, especially that are very nice, so this one fills up. We camped at Peppermint Park Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Nice secluded campground in the hills of the Berkshires. Mix of wooded and grassy sites. Small play area for the kids. Great pool with a hot tub for adults that is on a raised deck area to the pool. Very friendly seasonals that are very outgoing and helpful. Shelburne Falls, Old Deerfield and many more local attractions within 30 minutes. Will be going back again to "get away" from it all.
