Good park. Will stay again when in the area. Sites are pretty level. Roads are bumpy and some have potholes. Have to purchase WiFi--30 bucks for 2 weeks and worth it. Good strong signal, no issues. OTA TV is so-so--some sites get 25 plus stations, some get 5 or 6. Satellite is hit and miss as most sites are heavily wooded. Sites are fairly well separated. If going to be gone overnight, let the camp management know or be charged 35 dollars per night you are not at your site. Good water pressure--didn't need pressure reducer (yes I checked pressure before hooking up). Good stable electricity service--used 50 amp. Dogs permitted must be leashed when outside unless in a "cage." No washing of rig or toad--windshields ok to wash. A couple of sites are in low spots--get pretty muddy when it rains--check site before moving in. All in all--good park. We camped at Gateway to Cape Cod Campground in a Motorhome.

We are currently staying here, the road into the campground has add gravel added and is much better. Sites are all dirt. Streets are dirt and muddy, lots of pot holes. WiFi sucks and they want you to pay for it. AT&T cell coverage is bad so mifi will not work, maybe a booster will help, but I don't own one. Too Many Trees. I know I'm camping, but make some room for modern campers with slides. Choice of putting slides out or awnings, of course we choose the sliders. Hookups are convenient. I would stay here again because my 30 days are "free", but not worth much $$ We camped at Gateway to Cape Cod Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We are new elite members and have enjoyed our TT membership greatly. We are full time and it is a big benefit for us. We just left the campground of Gateway to Cape Cod and we have some serious concerns about the resort. We have been full time now for about a year and have stayed in 20 plus resorts in south and eastern coast. The resort at Cape Cod is by far the worst we have ever stayed in. The entrance road is dirt with so many mud holes that is is almost impossible to enter the resort. Once inside, the gate was unmanned and not working. During our week there I never once saw one person manning the gate for security. Every road in the park was almost impassible due to water and terrible mud. I almost got stuck in motor home and auto on several occasions. It is almost impossible to distinquise the roads from sites within park, you must be extremely carelful to be certain you remain on the roads. I asked staff about road conditions and her response was well we don't have a tractor and every time we scrape them it rains and it messes them up again. I asked if there were plans to pave any of roads expecially entrance road and her response was that it had been planned for years but only when money allowed. She said TT had owned park for over 10 years and no road work has been done. I said at least they could put gravel on roads since all of them are sand and mud. I told her it was once of worst I had seen and she got ugly and said well I don't guess you haven't camped very much. Not good customer response to a member. No staff was ever seen on the grounds except in store when I went in and no guard at the gate ever. Not up to standard we were promised with our intro to TT. Can you please pass this on for hopeful help with this park. All of ours have been awesome so far but I don't know if I could go back to this one again. We camped at Gateway to Cape Cod Campground in a Motorhome.

Nice Park as others have said the surface is dirt but plenty of shade cover. All sites are full hook ups and have 50 amp service. WIFI with Verizon was average but you can get by with it. Road into park as stated is part gravel and was very bad, pot holes everywhere and rough. Park is central to allot to be done in thew area from day trips to Boston or out to the cape. Also we did day trips into Rhode Island from this location. Apart from the road we enjoyed our two weeks there and will go back in the future. We camped at Gateway to Cape Cod Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Very comfortable and spacious sites. They are dirt, so rainy weather could be problematic. Woodsy setting. Plenty of space between sites for use of fire ring and picnic table. Nice staff. Newly renovated large pool. It is a bit of a drive to the mid-Cape area. No problem with entrance road as cited by others. Renewed our interest in the Thousand Trails system. We camped at Gateway to Cape Cod Campground in a Motorhome.

The rate quoted is a Passport America rate. We stayed here because of the PA discount and the proximity of the campground to friends.

This campground is a former KOA (you can tell by the camp office building). It is gated, upon arrival you have to call the office via the microphone to gain access. You are then told to find a site, then come back to the office and tell them which one you took.

The road leading into the campground is paved, but turns into dirt. Upon reaching the campground, the gated main entrance is paved, but the remainder of the the roads are sandy dirt and full of pot holes. The area has a lot of trees and a sandy soil....which of course gets tracked into your rig.

The campground has full hookups (Water, electric, sewer). The is no cable. There is WiFi, at least close to the camp office where we were. It was capped at 1 Mbps and would frequently dropped out. Frustration led to us using the MiFi. Verizon wireless was 2 bars of 4G if I put my phone in the window. Otherwise it was 3G.

There are a good number of seasonal sites and park homes in the campground. We stayed in October, I was surprised to see the place about 75% full.

This was an average campground that could be so much more. The roads needed grading....we had a 2" rain storm while there which lead to huge puddles in the roads. The junk laying around the camp office could cleared out. The adult lounge looks like a construction trailer.

If in the area to visit our friends, we would stay here again. But that is the only reason. We camped at Gateway to Cape Cod Campground in a Motorhome.

Come in via High Street to Stevens Road. Do not take Pierce (it's a farming road around the cranberry bogs)

We were in a good site where mostly motor homes stayed but it was too dusty to be down in another section. There is an Adult Center close to where we stayed however it seemed there were some young adults who practically lived in the center. They were sleeping in their car and staying in that center all day. The people staying in the park were generally nice and friendly. It seemed like this park was understaffed in that speed limits were not enforced and kids and teenagers drove and ran wildly around the park. It is a big park and for the area, it was a good enough place to stay. We camped at Gateway to Cape Cod Campground in a Tent Trailer.

Fair Thousand Trails park. Not very level dirt full hookup sites. Lot's of seasonals. Wifi was out while there. Said they would fix it next season. Closes on October 20th. Locals seem to enjoy the park and frequently have activities for them. Hard to get to on treed narrow roads. We camped at Gateway to Cape Cod Campground in a Motorhome.

Priced based on Passport America. Nice quiet wooded area, but interior roads were dirt and pot holed. Late in the season so the pool was closed. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay there again for Passport America price, but not full price. We camped at Gateway to Cape Cod Campground in a Motorhome.

Rate based on TT membership. Nice campground close to Cape Cod and Boston. Very wooded with good Verizon service but no chance of getting satellite service. The roads could use some help (all dirt) but doable. Nice heated pool but no hot tub. We would stay here again. We camped at Gateway to Cape Cod Campground in a Motorhome.

TTN rate. The campground is situated among cranberry bogs, wooded, sandy and muddy. The access road is very rough and pot holed. The sites are treed, some tight. Rain created lakes in the interior roads and campsites and nothing was done to repair ruts and deep tire tracks. Services and shopping fairly close. Cell phones and Wi-Fi marginal, on the air HD TV was satisfactory. Trees did create a problem with satellite for some of our neighbors. Staff was friendly and busy. Several of the sites are drive through and most full hookups. Maintenance on the interior roads is really needed, otherwise this is a pleasant CG and we would return. We camped at Gateway to Cape Cod Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice park and convenient to Cape Cod, Mystic, New Bedford and Boston. Great electrical and water pressure. We kept extending our stay because it was so nice and relaxing there. Great fudge in the store at a very good price is an added bonus. We camped at Gateway to Cape Cod Campground in a Motorhome.

Gateway to Cape Cod: Outdoor World. Not far off the highway. Level spots, very treed, therefore almost impossible to find a satellite for Dish and there is no cable TV. Wi-Fi, good signal but slow to nonexistent. Has a playground and pool for the kids. Nice staff. Laundry small and old, start all the washers at once and it floods. Close to Cape Cod, Newport, Providence. We stayed 2 weeks and would only stay again if Wi-Fi was improved. We camped at Gateway to Cape Cod Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed here using Thousand Trails. We had used our allotted free days so the rate was $4. The bathrooms were spotless, the laundry was poor, machines old, drains overflowed if more than 1 machine pumped out at a time and the grounds were dirty. Lots of little plastic stuff, papers, candy wrappers etc. While we were here no one ever picked up around the campground. We stayed in C section which had many nice wide sites. Many small 'park' model houses here reminds me of a ghetto. Staff was helpful and friendly. We camped at Gateway to Cape Cod Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed at the Gateway to Cape Cod with our Outdoor World membership, so the stay was free for us. We stayed 3 weeks. The park is a typical Outdoor World park where as it isn’t close to the attractions in the area. “Gateway”? Not really. It’s about 30 or so miles just to get to the start of the Cape Cod region. A lot of local RV’ers come here on a regular basis. We met several that were very friendly. When approaching the park you will be driving on a dirt, not gravel, dirt road. It’s about one quarter of a mile of dirt before you get to the gate. The entry is gated with a keypad entry for security. All the interior roads are dirt as well. Other reviewers have mentioned that when it rains puddles will form. That happened when we were there and some puddles are very large on the roads and in some of the sites as well. The park in just about completely full on the weekends. It does thin out during the week, but not much. The sites are shaded. Most are level left to right. They all have fire rings and a bar-b-ques. And now for my satellite report. There are only a few sites that can get satellite reception. Good luck shooting through the trees. There are activities here, but not many. There is an activity house for kids with a ping pong table. A pool that is very crowded all the time with a life guard on duty. The teens were very bored here. Let them bring their I-pods and games. They’ll need something. There was a live DJ here on Saturday night for the 3 weeks we were here. The kids really liked that. They really need some kind of activity director to keep the kids busy. An adult lodge is available, but not much happens there. There is a baseball field for activities, but still no planned activities for the field. There is a store with some food and supplies. A super market is about 5-6 miles away. There are rental units that seem nice from the outside. We camped at Gateway to Cape Cod Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
