Spent a night passing through. Great stopover. Easy access to the site with the coach. A lot of amenities for kids and adults. Very family friendly. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Yogi Bear's Sturbridge Jellystone Park in a Motorhome.

I did not read reviews prior to booking here and probably best I didn't. We used this as a halfway overnight on our way to and from Bar Harbor Maine as there just weren't many options. It was easy to get to off I84, some low limbs on River road but manageable. Both sites we had were meant to have 2 trailers on. Luckily we never had to deal with that, because they would have been super tight. Overall this place is a dump. Wife and I walked it the first night we stayed. Seasonals everywhere, most are in poor condition at best. Abandoned RV's in the woods, equipment all over the place, their shop gate is always open, and what a mess that area is. The regular rate was $84 per night, I found a discount code and got it for $70 a night. Still way to much. Roads and entrance are tight. Oh, and the note in the campground map that says no air conditioners or electric heaters unless prior arrangements are made. Really? My prior arrangement was paying $70 a night to stay in this dump. On our way home at site 151 on a Friday night was met with a ridiculously loud DJ rave party on the patio that went from 6-10PM. I don't know how my 11 month old son fell asleep, the wife and I sure couldn't. This is not a destination campground. It's barely ok for an (expensive) overnight. We camped at Yogi Bear's Sturbridge Jellystone Park in a Fifth Wheel.

If you thought that this Jellystone Park is a serine, woodsy park, think again. This park is nothing more than a run down trailer park full of permanents that need to be evicted. We booked a pull-through full hook- up site to accommodate our 40-ft 5'er. What we got was a pull-through site, no sewer, no 50Amp, and jammed into a site where our slides were almost touching the slides in the next site. I will say that the staff did try to help resolve our problems the best they could. Don't waste your time or money here. We camped at Yogi Bear's Sturbridge Jellystone Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $72.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for only one night. We paid $72 for the night and for 50 amps. When we arrived they stayed they didn't have any 50 amp sites left. After we explained the reservation was made over a year ago they found adapters which they claimed converted to 50 but it wasn't the case. The property is very run down and not easy to navigate for a 42 foot fifth wheel being pulled. The site was a mess with trash too. The bathroom was covered with pee as well. The property had so much potential but it doesn't seem like any money is being put into upkeep. We have stayed at a Jellystone in two other states prior and had much better experiences. Don't waste your money here. We camped at Yogi Bear's Sturbridge Jellystone Park in a Fifth Wheel.

I recently stayed at Jellystone Park in Sturbridge. I read the reviews, but always like to see for myself plus it is close to home. I have to tell you, we had a terrific time. We had a beautiful spot on the lake. It was quiet and the kids still talk about the young man with red hair doing activities. We have already made October reservations. Restrooms and facilities were clean. Things were a bit dusty, but there are Water Ban signs all over town. Its understandable. Keep up the good work. We camped at Yogi Bear's Sturbridge Jellystone Park in a Travel Trailer.

We were disappointed. The staff were terrible. Inappropriate conversations while children were around. Bored, loud, abrupt. Bingo one night in the rain. So instead of moving it inside they kept it out side and gave us rolls of paper towels to dry off the tables and chairs. A decent selection of things for the kids to do but costly extra. Laundry and restrooms were clean although half the machines were out of order. Many run down fulltime sites. I would never stay again. Dirt roads through out the park, no gravel at all. There were open sewer pipes with no covers on empty site sewer connections. It rained while we were here and there were huge puddles everywhere. The park is not engineered to drain water from the roads and sites. This park is stupidly expensive. We camped at Yogi Bear's Sturbridge Jellystone Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed one night. This is a nice small campground with a nice pond and beach. The roads and sites are dirt. Cable is free but the WiFi is offered by a third party, for a cost. I would rate this campground a little higher but all but about ten sites are filled with seasonals. It's just not my thing. We camped at Yogi Bear's Sturbridge Jellystone Park in a Motorhome.

Stopped here for an overnighter on our way to Maine. The lady in the office was very friendly and gave us a nice site where we didn't have to unhook. We were here off season and in the middle of the week, so it wasn't very crowded. During prime season, I'd imagine most sites would be really tight if your camper is longer than 25 ft. Nice place to stay if you are visiting Old Sturbridge Village. We camped at Yogi Bear's Sturbridge Jellystone Park in a Travel Trailer.

This was our second anual Ranger Ricks cleanup weekend, where we camped for free in exchange for raking our site and participating in a group fence painting. Our site had an old class A that had been sitting there for some time in the site across from us, and what looked like an old mini golf setup behind us. There were a lot of old seasonal campers making this place looked run down. We can't complain much since it was free. But, I am unlikely to stay there as a paying customer. Well, this is a very old and run down park. They have a firetruck with Yogi and something riding through the park in the evening. The staff was fine, but the roads are tight, bumpy and quite a number of dumpy, dirty permanents. The sites are so close together and nothing really pretty about the park either. Dogs barking continually, but the trip to Old Sturbridge Village was the icing on a flopped cake. We camped at Yogi Bear's Sturbridge Jellystone Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here overnight on our trip to Maine. This place is run down and expensive. The person checking us in was indifferent and not helpful. Facilities were old and run down. Sites were not paved. The bathroom/showers were old, not clean, and a long walk from our site. We won't be back. We camped at Yogi Bear's Sturbridge Jellystone Park in a Motorhome.

We read all of the reviews and knew what we were getting into. The reason for the trip was so the grandkids would have fun and lots of activities. The kids really liked the park, even though some of the activities were for younger ones. The park charges extra for mini golf, the water slide pool and a few other things. We did get our money’s worth in the water slide pool. The one big complaint at the slide pool is no bathroom. If you are the only adult with a couple of kids, you have to pack up the entire crew to walk about 300 yards to the rest room. The sites are very small and can be hard to back into. Some of the sewer connections were broken. For all of the kids, the park was very quiet at night. The price we paid reflects a "stay 2 days get the third free" deal that you had to ask for when you made the reservations, they wouldn’t offer it. We won’t return, but the kids had their fun. We camped at Yogi Bear's Sturbridge Jellystone Park in a Travel Trailer.

The other reviews here are spot on: this is an amazingly over-priced CG that is run-down and dingy. There is an extra fee for using one of the pools. We only stayed one night, which was an unplanned emergency. I will say that the woman at the front desk was very friendly and accommodating and the pull-though site was long enough so that I did not have to unhitch. We walked around the park in the morning before leaving for the drive home, and decided that this park was fine for an over-night, but not a destination in and of itself. We camped at Yogi Bear's Sturbridge Jellystone Park in a Motorhome.
