Very nice resort. Beautiful clubhouse...top tier in my opinion. The resort is spotlessly maintained. I can't say it's the best overall resort I've been to, but it isn't far behind my #1. Good sized pads, and good space between sites. Much potential here. We camped at Petoskey RV Resort (formerly Bay Harbor Motor Coach Resort ) in a Motorhome.

This is a beautiful resort. Park like setting with motorhomes only. Many sites are drive in sites so you are are looking at grass, trees and water. This is a park where you can buy in to have a permanent site. There are no picnic tables and no fire rings. The clubhouse has activities nearly every night. It is beautiful inside, with fitness center, pool table, card rooms, big sitting room, and outdoor patio near the swimming pool. It has a 9 hole grass putting course as well.

Definite must on our list for next year as well. We camped at Petoskey RV Resort (formerly Bay Harbor Motor Coach Resort ) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Conveniently located near Petoskey, Charlevoix, and Harbor Springs.

Our original reservation was only for 2 nights but after we arrived and saw the park we increased it to 5. Beautiful, relaxing park and grounds. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Location was also very convenient to seeing the area. Would be back in a heartbeat if ever in the area again. We camped at Petoskey RV Resort (formerly Bay Harbor Motor Coach Resort ) in a Motorhome.

This is a class A resort only with wide lots, patios, ponds and fountains. It's a gated park with pass codes. It is top notch in every way- clubhouse, swiping pool, workout room, etc. We camped at Petoskey RV Resort (formerly Bay Harbor Motor Coach Resort ) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Petoskey has many choices of activities from a Farmers Market to beaches to watching sunsets. You do have to leave the RV park to get to everything unless you ride a bicycle. The park is near a beautiful paved bike trail . We enjoyed Castle Farms tour in Charlevoix. We drove the Tunnel of Trees along Lake Michigan north for 20 miles. A sunset cruise out of Charlevoix was wonderful.

Beautiful clean RV resort. We were unable to get satellite and the cable was just ok. They have a few sites that you might be able to receive satellite. Double concert pad, .....no picnic tables. Nice recreation facilities. Very quiet and relaxing. We camped at Petoskey RV Resort (formerly Bay Harbor Motor Coach Resort ) in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Overall, this is a very nice RV Resort. All sites have double wide concrete pads and are nicely landscaped. All sites have 50 amp full hookups, with WiFi and cable. The cable was upgraded just after we arrived and carries appx. 30 basic cable stations. The sites are either back in sites, or pull in sites. They have a large clubhouse with an exercise room, pool room, sitting area, book swap, card room, etc. TV via bat wing was fair, Verizon cell and broadband both very good. One of the few draw backs is the laundry room, only 2 washers and 2 dryers. They do not allow any type of cloths lines here. Our rate based on an early season monthly special on the north sites only. These sites back up to a busy US-31 and at times it seemed that the traffic was inside the park. The monthly special needed to be completed by June 20th, so we had some real cold days during our stay. We camped at Petoskey RV Resort (formerly Bay Harbor Motor Coach Resort ) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The Barrel Back restaurant in nearby Walloon Lake Village had one of the better happy hours when we first arrived. However they stop it during the summer. The Noggin Room in the Perry Hotel keeps there Happy Hour.

This is a top notch resort, one of the nicest you will see. Everything is gorgeous, the landscaping, pool, clubhouse, office, etc. There is a great bike trail that will take you into town. The staff was exceptional as well. They are trying to sell the sites but there is no pressure. The only downside was they did not have a table or fire ring on the site. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Petoskey RV Resort (formerly Bay Harbor Motor Coach Resort ) in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice park, and while a few miles out of town, it is right across the street from a bike trail. It is a very easy ride into Petoskey. The park is lovely, the sites are Huge, the roads are very wide. This place is perfect for big rigs. The only problem is a temporary one (I hope) ...they don't have cable service this year, and many of the sites have trees that block or inhibit satellite signal. The staff are wonderful, though, and allowed us to move several times until we found a site that worked for us. Very, very nice folks and very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again! The rate we paid was a promotional rate. We camped at Petoskey RV Resort (formerly Bay Harbor Motor Coach Resort ) in a Motorhome.

Park is now called Petoskey RV Resort. Beautiful park, easy access for big rigs, large concrete pads with beautifully maintained lawns. Staff was extremely friendly, park is also pet friendly. Stayed for 3 nights at a special rate of $49.00/night. Park accepts class A, class C and 5th wheels no older than 10 years of age. Will definitely stay again when in the Petoskey area. Now called Petosky RV Resort, it is immaculate and well presented like our previous visit; however, we arrived late at night and set up was hindered as the sprinklers were watering everywhere, all over our site. Then there was a wasp nest in the cable hook up box. We were left a lot of paperwork, including check out rules, but not one word about Internet password or log on details. Not the sort of welcome associated with costs like these. Hopefully, things will improve. We camped at Petoskey RV Resort (formerly Bay Harbor Motor Coach Resort ) in a Motorhome.

Great park for big-rigs. Paved roads and concrete pads. We had no problems with leveling and saw no rig with wheels off ground. Sparkling facilities including clubhouse, pool, hot tub, putting greens, tennis court and laundry. Very private. Some road noise is audible if you focus on it, but not really bothersome. Convenient to restaurants, shopping, golf, lake activities, etc. They do irrigate the lawns daily, but then, the lawns are like carpet and we appreciate that. Pads are large enough to park a sufficient distance from sprinkler heads. Staff were friendly and met our needs. Stayed here for three weeks. A beautiful park close to all! Very friendly and helpful staff. The sites are concrete pads with grassy areas, nicely maintained. The easy access to the paved, 25 mile+ bike/walking path was a plus! Close to Petoskey's shops and restaurants. Nice, clean laundry, but only 2 washers and 2 dryers. A great spot for at least a month! Had a great stay here the last week of June and the first week in July. Smaller, but quaint park in gorgeous upstate MI. The latest owners sent a manager from their CA resort. Manager and her family, were very nice and we love her plans for the resort. The live entertainment was awesome, and we enjoyed dancing on the patio. The cook-outs, breakfasts and cocktail parties were a plus. I'd give it a 10 if the pool water was a bit warmer. Older folks need warm water for arthritic relief. Beautiful and clean RV resort. Nice water features, great club house and pool area. Staff are very responsive and nice. The reasons why I gave the rating I did are: very bad Internet, the resort is right on Highway 31 and it is VERY noisy and the sprinklers run 7 days a week (really, in Michigan?). Got the coach wet and the water is very hard. Horrible spots. Also, many of the sites are a bit too low in the front which will cause the front tires to come off the ground. Excellent park. Ask for a lot in the center overlooking their water features. Very clean, well maintained, grassy sites. Excellent choice for the area. Some trees along the back row could prevent satellite access. We camped at Petoskey RV Resort (formerly Bay Harbor Motor Coach Resort ) in a Motorhome.
