This park is basically a field with hookups, nothing fancy but suits the purpose well. Very little (or no) shade but that helps if you want satellite access! All pull thru sites. There isn't much in this area except the casino. We drove to Tahquamenon Falls (worth the drive any day), good place to stay while passing thru. We camped at Bay Mills RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There isn't a lot to do in this area, other than enjoying nature's scenery. Tahquamenon Falls is worth the drive. Bring your own groceries and a full gas tank . . . there simply isn't much in this area other than a couple of bars and a casino.

Other reviews have said that you need to go to the hotel/casino desk to check in, that is no longer true. The RV park now has it's own office. When we arrived and got checked in, the employee showed me a map of the park and pointed out the empty sites. She handed me a map and asked which site I wanted, so I picked 78. The interior roads and sites are gravel. We pulled into our site, found the connections, and got everything connected. The cable TV worked so well that we didn't check on the satellite or over the air TV the whole week we were there. AT&T cell service and hotspots worked well. The park has Wi-Fi however, the security certificate has expired, and while the phones and tablets connected with no problems, our computers wouldn't connect, unless we turned off the anti-virus software. This we wouldn't do, so we used our hotspots for the computers. Our site was close to the road, so we got some road noise, mainly from the ATVs that use the road right of way to get around, but nothing that really bothered us. The park is a work in progress, and they were working on building a pavilion, while we were there. We would stay here again, if in the area. We camped at Bay Mills RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Soo Lock Boat Tour, Valley Camp Museum, and Tower of History in Sault Ste. Marie. Boat tour of the Picture Rock National Seashore in Munising. Whitefish Shipwreck Museum and Lighthouse, pay the extra money to go to the top of the lighthouse, also in Munising, Newberry has the Crisp Point Lighthouse and Oswald Bear Farm. The Iroquois Point Lighthouse is not from the RV Park.

This is a pretty good casino campground with a view of the lake. Gravel roads and sites with decent spacing. EXCEPTIONAL cable service with HD. A short walk across the street to the casino, restaurants or the shore of Lake Superior. Staff was really great both on the phone and on site during the day. We camped at Bay Mills RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Brimley is little short on services and businesses but Sault Ste Marie is a 20 minute drive with TONS to see and do. Also, take the drive to the Iroquois Lighthouse and get the history and enjoy the lakefront walk.

Great location for visiting the area. The casino is across the road. The sites are spacious and many have full hookups and cable TV. Easy access for big rigs and pull thru sites are very long and level. Very quiet and well maintained. We come here several times a year. We camped at Bay Mills RV Park in a Motorhome.

About 20 minutes west of the campground is a lovely sand beach on Lake Superior that is not packed with people. Pickles to the east is a great restaurant with lovely whitefish sandwiches and dinners.

Check in at casino hotel desk. Nice staff, two decent casinos, buffet very limited but not expensive. Park is all pull-thru and clean. Too many pot holes on access roads, needs work. Dump station at park exit location. We camped at Bay Mills RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

I can't really remember what we paid but it was about $30- I think.

We only stayed one night as we were moving toward another location.

It is all open field sites. they are level, only small trees. Only restrooms/showers are up at front.

You must register at the Hotel across the street. They are friendly and helpful though. It is completely open to the public, no gate code or anyone from the facility on site. Everything is at hotel/casino.

We had a problem with our awning. It had rained and was wet, slipped and slid hard into down position.

We called the desk and they sent their maintenance guy. He was friendly and helpful- in the rain no less- and helped get it unstuck.

Sites are gravel/grass ( weeds), W/E are well placed and in good shape. Dump station is easy to get to and on the way out.

They have boat ramp into the lake you can use too.

Simple and not great views, but not a bad place to stop over.

Good area to walk the dog. We camped at Bay Mills RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Price reflects weekly rate ($205/wk); no discount was used, but Good Sam discount is offered. Sites are wide, level, and very long; all are pull-through. Sites on the north end of the park may have a couple of small trees that provide little or no shade. Sites on the south end have no trees and no shade. Sites are gravel/dirt and grass; roads are graded dirt. Clean, well-equipped, inexpensive laundry. Hotel/Casino with restaurants and pubs directly across the street. There is a small Farmer's Market in the casino parking lot on Thursdays. Easy access to Sault Ste. Marie and other sights of interest. Located on the road that turns in to the beautiful Whitefish Scenic Drive! Will definitely stay again when in the area. We camped at Bay Mills RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We had wonderful Whitefish at Wilcox Fish House, a no-frills, family-run little place about 5 miles from the RV park. The fish was very, very lightly coated with flour and then fried to perfection! Some of the best Whitefish we've ever had!

This is just a nice park. The sites are large, we had a full hookup with small view of Whitefish Bay(site 98). There is a Casino across the street. Plenty of good food easily accessed. Not all sites are full hookups. No trees or shrubbery. Gravel road and sites. Level sites. Great manager, very personable and helpful(Jill). Good location for being a tourist and making day trips to attractions and historic educational experiences. Quiet Park comfortable to just hang out in as well. We are Full time RV'ers and this was our 1st time to the UP. This place is no frills but a great stop. Would definitely return. We camped at Bay Mills RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Long, wide, level, open spaces. Excellent utilities including HD cable TV and strong WIFI. Roads and sites are gravel and dirt, so some pavement and concrete parking pads and patios would make this place about perfect for the discriminating traveler. We camped at Bay Mills RV Park in a Motorhome.

This turned out to be a great place to stay for 5 days. The spaces were roomy, it was quiet, easy to get to the nearby attractions (Soo Locks, Shipwreck Museum, etc), nice IGA grocery down the road. Water pressure was good. WiFi was terrific. Easy in and out with long pull-throughs. The Manager that checked us in was terrific. She put us in an inside row. I asked for an outside row with a view of the trees. We pulled in to that site and our neighbors were too messy for us so I went back and she found a better spot for us. Three times we changed and each time she was very helpful. Not attitude or anything. Laundry was neat and clean. We camped at Bay Mills RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed here while visiting the Sault Sainte Marie area. It's about 15 miles from Sault Sainte Marie with easy access and good roads. The campground is large, level, and good utilities. They offer free cable TV which we did not use. Also, the free Wi-Fi worked fairly well. Our Verizon phone and Hot Spot signals were weak and the Hot Spot was 3G only. The sites are large with some gravel. Our nightly rate reflects a Good Sam discount. If we visited the area in the future, we would consider staying here again. We camped at Bay Mills RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Not a great park but one that fits the bill. Good water pressure, 50 amp service, and sewer connections all were easy to reach. Gravel pull-through sites and roads that are dusty. No trouble getting into our site. Wi-Fi was better then most we have come across in an RV park, was easy to hook up to, not great and could be slow at times. Cell phone connections faded in and out both with AT&T and Verizon. Cable TV was available only in a digital format so if you did not have a way to decode the digital signal there was no TV. Over the air TV is very limited, may be 2 channels. The Bay Mills Casino is across the street and Wild Bluff Golf Course is a few hundred yards down the road. We would stay here again if in the area but would not rush back. We camped at Bay Mills RV Park in a Motorhome.
