Very close to large beach on Lake Huron. Nice beach café with good food and service. Patios available for large group gatherings. Lots close to level but sand and dirt. Have some low hanging branches on tress, cause roof damage. We camped at Caseville County Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

We made reservations in January, on line, computer error made reservation for 18 months out, and was told by staff, this error could not happen, but this error also affected 2 other on line reservations. Reserved with 6 other campers for eight days, staff sold our lot to someone else for 3 days. 2 of our group did NOT get the lot they reserved. Second trip there, WILL NOT return

When we got there someone was still in our spot even though it was well after checkout. They were full and had to track him down which killed a couple hours. I would suggest they check spots to make sure people have left after check out time. They were very nice but it did kill a couple hours.

Other than that you are right on the beach, the site as a mix of sand and grass. Awesome location and they have really fixed the place up over the last couple years. The seasonal spots are in a different area. It is within an easy walk to the Diary Queen at the entrance and into town. The city had a band at the entrance to the park on the Saturday night. Overall a nice park, especially for a county park. Definitely a bit high on the price though. We camped at Caseville County Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

The campsites were level and the access to utilities was OK. The campground has a huge beach. Our campsite was one row down from the beach and we had a good view of the water. We had bad weather when we were there, so spent time exploring the town on foot, which was fun. The campground was very easy to find and drive through. We camped at Caseville County Park in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This is the first time we have stayed at this park and honestly I will not return. We had a back in site which was difficult to back into due to narrow streets and trees. The site itself was decent (roomy, grassy, level, etc). For campfires you have to rent a fire pit at $1 night which was no big deal but we feel it should have been included in site fee. Showers and bathrooms were not clean nor dirty. Showers are .25 for 4 minutes. Everyone in our party seemed to get all cold showers. At the time of our visit, beaches were open but there was approximately 3' of black/brownish sludge that went from shore into the water. After that water was still merky and could not see the bottom in 2' deep water. Needless to say we did not stay at the beach long. On the up side, you are right in town, across from a party store and Dairy Queen. Would check out Sleeper State Park down the road or stay elsewhere next time. My husband stays the best part of the stay here was leaving! We camped at Caseville County Park in a Fifth Wheel.
