Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $20.00
Please note new rate. This is a basic park and the rates this year went up by 33% without any changes. No extra anything, just the same water every 6th space or so, 30 amp max, and some sites with only 20. We will stay here again, unless we can find something else in the area. Water is scattered throughout, so long hoses are needed. For a few days, good place to stop. We camped at Eaton County Fairgrounds in a Motorhome.Undo

As reported thru the years. This place is still $15 a night. No on site dump, but it has one at the front of the fairgrounds. Tons of shade Great for an overnight or a month as we are doing. We camped at Eaton County Fairgrounds in a Motorhome.Undo

A real deal only a mile from I-69. The main campground is in a mature wooded area. Unless you're here at fair time in August, or during an RV rally, there should be no problem finding a good place to park. You'll be parking on grass, electric power is 30 amp max, water bibs sprinkled around the grounds but not at every site, and no sewer but there is a dump station on the grounds. We think it's a real deal for $15. We'll stay here again. We camped at Eaton County Fairgrounds in a Motorhome.Undo

This must be one of Michigan's best kept secret campgrounds. We found the listing in a booklet we got at a tourist information center. When I called the number to see if they had space available, there was a recording saying the office was closed for the winter. There were a couple of other numbers given and I finally reached a person who said there were spaces and no, they weren't closed (but the fairground offices were). It took us two tries to find the campground. It's way at the back of the fairgrounds, so it isn't visible when you first turn into the fairgrounds. It's very basic, no frills, but it was a nice place to park overnight. The electric is only 30 amp, but it was good enough. No sewer hookups but they do have a dump station. The sites are grass, not well marked, and not all are very level. It's pretty laid back, and there were only 2 other rigs there, other than the campground host.
