Wonderful location on the Bay. No sewer hookups at the sites, but they do have a dump station centrally located. - HHHandyman

This is a beautiful campground on the shore of a bay off Lake Michigan. Pull-through sites are long and level. We've been here before and loved it. People are nice. Showers are large and clean. We took a nice walk along the paved trail along the bay and caught up on our reading. If you like to watch tv though, you'd better have a satellite dish because they don't have cable and there are only a couple of over-the-air channels. - mrpeepers

We debated about driving this far from Racine, but we are really glad we did. Access road is paved as are the interior roads. The pads are gravel, with some grass at the ends of the drive through sites. Beautiful tent sites. Walking/bike trail runs along front of the campground and along the lake. Some trees, but still could get satellite service without a problem. Good utilities. Lots of open areas with beautiful trimmed grass. Couple of sandy beaches leading out into the lake. Clean. This is a gem. Never saw the camp host. Note, do not take site 21 if you are a motorhome or a long 5er. The problem is a light pole at the entry to the site. Other drive thru sites seem to be okay. Some comments complain about getting to the park thru a residential area. From the south, take a right on Lakeshore Drive and follow it to the end, where it turns north and becomes 9th street. Go up the road to Michigan ave, and take a right on Michigan. Keep going and you will drive thru the gate. Simple access. There is a map posted by the rest rooms. Find your site and get settled. Check out is at noon. This place is a real treat. - okdiver
May 2016 - $26.00
County park with excellent facilities and strong WiFi. Nicely laid out with back-in and pull-through sites. A couple of "river" sites that are $2 extra - well worth it. Showers were utilitarian but clean.
Check-in staff were extremely helpful. WiFi was STRONG.
We would definitely stay here again! - DCM/JMB

Somewhat noisy and lacking any privacy from trees. No recycling. Well patrolled. - Upriver

It is easy on/off M35. While park lacks sewer and cable it makes up for with a park setting and no road noise. We requested a pull thru site close to the office for good Wifi and I have to say this is the best Wifi connection in all the parks we have stayed at. There are a few rigs that appeared to be there for a while but the park is clean and a great place to walk pets. There is also a free disc golf course on the property along with a playground. The sites are spaced apart so there is no problem opening slides etc..We would stay here again. - petpeople
