This is the cheapest 50 amp full hookup site we have ever stayed in. Alas no ATT signal. Just Verizon. There are steps down to the lake for dog swimming, but very muddy entrance and old dock. Front desk lady is super nice and patient. Dirt road into and inside campground. We camped at Alcona County Park in a Motorhome.

Campground was OK level sites, large OK grass. Small to no store on sight but close. Fishing is Great large bass in boat and off shore. Large body of water 1700 acres. Small beach. Great view of lake from most campsites. To me this park was all about the fishing. Worth going to. Nice boat, kayak rental place on water. Take your camera! We camped at Alcona County Park in a Travel Trailer.

Very clean and quiet park. Loved the scenic views of Alcona Pond. Loved the curb side daily trash pick up. Only downfall is the lack of being able to reserve a campsite unless you're staying a week or more. Almost missed out on staying but got the last modern site in the park. Still well worth it and we can't wait to come back next year. We camped at Alcona County Park in a Tent Trailer.

Wished we stayed longer than 4 days. Staff friendly, the campground very clean. Garbage was picked up hourly by the staff at site. We will definitely return. Roads were very good. We camped at Alcona County Park in a Motorhome.
