Pretty level pull thru site. Sites are close but not on top of each other. The pull thru sites are the back to back type. Lots of mature trees for shade. Very nice owners/staff. Good Wi Fi too. We camped at Hidden Hill Family Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Owner was very helpful getting us parked. Beautiful wooded grounds but no satellite tv due to trees. Local tv gave us 7 channels and cell coverage is good. The site is dirt with table and fire ring. We camped at Hidden Hill Family Campground in a Motorhome.

We have put in 3 satellite dishes (two for DirecTV and one for DIsh) and ran cables for our back in sites. Pull-thru sites P6 and P8 have a "window" through the trees for satellite reception. If pointing to the SE, newer RV antenna's and TV's get 19-29 channels. Sorry, but nobody asked about satellite reception or TV reception. We hope you come back and give us another try.

Overall Rating:

Out of my six weeks of traveling in Michigan this summer, Hidden Hills is hands down my favorite. I had the best site in the park in my opinion. This is a small family owned park that is maintained above and beyond the norm. The hosts were great - very friendly and helpful. Cleanest restrooms, showers and laundry I have ever seen. The cheapest laundry prices to date also. The internet connection was awesome which I needed in order to work. I stayed for a week but if I hadn't already had reservations at my next park, I could have easily stayed here my entire six weeks. If I ever do seasonal, this will be the campground I choose if they have room. I highly recommend Hidden Hills to everyone. We camped at Hidden Hill Family Campground in a Motorhome.

HiddenHillManager, owner at Hidden Hill Family Campground responded to this review

We are extremely happy that we provided you the kind of experience that you wanted and apparently needed. Seasonal site availability isn't really known until November 1st, current campers have until October 31st to put up their deposit for the following year.
Our laundry room prices aren't meant to make a lot of money, just to help repay for installing new equipment a few years ago.

Overall Rating:

We stayed here the first time in October 2017 for 9 days and fell in love with it. This time we stayed 9 days again in late May and into June, loved everything about the park and the owners are beyond wonderful. When we were here in October we got to see their awesome haunted house, looks like it was done professionally. We feel like family here and it is clean and quiet and we loved it so much we became Good Sam members. There are many trails and places to walk your pets and there were no pets running loose. The showers were always clean and lots of hot water. Everything is set up to be very user friendly. The owners are always visible in their golf carts or in the office and quick to take care of any concerns you have. The location is easy to access and you are close to grocery stores and restaurants in the town of Harrison or 14 miles away is the town of Gladwin. We camped at Hidden Hill Family Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

If you are here in October be sure and visit the haunted house it is awesome, and we are not big Halloween people but we truly enjoyed it. Our site is right next to a beautiful fountain and garden with 3 small benches and so relaxing.

So glad you enjoyed our Haunted Pavilion. We've been doing this event for 10 years and it has become a favorite of many campers; to the extent that we fill up every weekend in October. Make your reservations early.

The owners are very committed to keeping the park immaculate. They make you feel most welcome and ask if you need or require anything. One of the nicest things was when I arrived one of the owners went to our site and helped us back in our trailer to make sure it was situated in the best possible spot on the site. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The sites are kept very neat and clean and any dogs there are always on their leashes and no barking was heard. On top of the city water, hydro, and sewer there was also free Satellite TV if you had a dish as well as WIFI which was terrific! We will certainly go back next year and take advantage of this hidden gem! We camped at Hidden Hill Family Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This campground is a real gem. No, it's not a resort, but it is well managed, well maintained, clean, quiet and peaceful. The owners are very helpful and friendly. They have a well stocked but small camp store and even firewood delivery your site! Our site was fairly large with plenty of room for our 35 foot travel trailer and tow vehicle. Sites are dirt and grass and owners are improving the grass. Did you mention it is peaceful?! The owners enforce their rules and that is a good thing! We will be back. Owners very committed to making you feel welcome and servicing all your needs. Very clean, quiet, shady lots. Have highly recommended to our camping friends. The location is close to the highway but noise was not an issue. Owners ensure that pets are leashed and do not disturb other campers. We will go back. I called the evening I was coming in & the camp host stayed late to check me in. I am a single woman traveling alone. When I had trouble hitching to leave the camp host gladly came to help me. Very friendly helpful staff & a nice park. We camped at Hidden Hill Family Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed 4 last nights weekend for a local event, This is our 3rd year in a row. The manager is GREAT and very accommodating. We look forward to him walking the campground and stopping to chat with us. My motorhome battery was dead when I was ready to leave and he checked my batteries and got me going, advising that the engine battery was close to dying. He was very helpful. Always making improvements. We will be back!!! We camped at Hidden Hill Family Campground in a Motorhome.
