We were only staying here as an overnight stay on our way to Mackinac City, thankfully. We were taken to a 50 amp pull through site that was level, but had dangerously low voltage. Our surge protector shut down and would not reset even after moving sites. They were unable to remedy the problem so they allowed us to move. We went through 4 more sites before finding a suitable one as they were very tight and poorly maintained. They also did not have sewer hook up. The staff seems to be made up of mostly kids, including the manager. This campground has a lot of potential but is in need of attention. There were not many people here for a beautiful June weekend. We would not camp here again. We camped at Flint / Holly KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Charged us for child wristabands even though it says comes with site. Charged us early entry fee because we were 20 minutes early . Didn't tell us these fees until I reviewed charges on email. They forgot that the site they put us on was so uneven because it was full of holes and gravel that they were putting a drain in so they moved us to another site. All sites Rocky and heavy gravel. When I asked the young manager girl about my fees she just sneered and said " oh well I'm the manager so there's no one else I can go to! The man who took us to our site was the only person who seemed to know anything. Picnic tables are unsafe they are so rotten. We camped at Flint / Holly KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed for one night at the Holly/Flint KOA. Due to the unresolved water issues in Flint we did not hook up to water. We only hooked up to 50 amp power. They only have a handful of 50 amp sites so our choices were limited. The site we were originally assigned to was #112, a full hookup site. The office staff has no idea how to park RVs. We are 42' towing and were told we could enter the site from either direction! No, you can't! The hookups are on the wrong side! We were taken to the site the wrong way. The young driver expected us to pull into the site from the wrong side and up an incline of at least 2-3 feet. Then at the top of the site was loose uneven gravel. Nowhere near long enough for us without getting hung up. After looking at the other sites we chose site 32. It was just long enough for the MH & toad without unhooking. This campground has a lot of potential. It needs knowledgeable staff first and foremost. It needs someone to level and groom the sites. We put a piece of firewood across a broken sewer drain that was hidden in long grass. There were no dumpsters in sight and no instructions what to do with trash, however, there were a number of trash cans located around the park. I'd stay somewhere else until the reviews start getting better for this campground. Not many other campers there. We camped at Flint / Holly KOA in a Motorhome.

This place is awful. What is called a cabin is more of a garden shed. It's situated about 10 feet away of the next shed, I mean 'cabin'. If you drink and drink a lot of alcohol you may enjoy it. I don't drink so I'm not. I'm booked here til Monday. It's friday night, we are leaving tomorrow morning it's that bad. We camped at Flint / Holly KOA in a Cabin.

The campground was muddy and all sites were too close together. Had to go to four different sites before found one that was ok. I would have rated it lower but the folks working here would rate a ten. Especially one gentleman who did everything he could to make our stay enjoyable. Delivered a picnic table. Delivered firewood. Was just as friendly as could be. Thank you for salvaging our Memorial Day weekend. We camped at Flint / Holly KOA in a Motorhome.

We had a nice spacious site (#63) with FHU including cable, picnic table and fire pit. We were close to the laundry facility. Had a nice play area for kids. We enjoyed ourselves. Office staff was really helpful and very friendly. The only thing we didn't like was the campers before us were rather messy leaving spots with garbage around. They should have left it better. We camped at Flint / Holly KOA in a Motorhome.

Right from the time we arrived early Friday morning I knew this was going to be a bad experience. We arrived early Friday morning due to an early appointment we had in Warren Michigan , we arrived around 10am hoping to park our RV so we could continue on our day only to be told, no, by the young lady that was working at the time and that they would charge us an additional night's stay , and I noticed the campground was pretty much empty at that time. We turned around and headed back to Auburn hills to burn off 5 hrs. till their 3pm check in time with our 11000lb 5th wheel in tow. We arrived back at the camp site at 3pm to check in for the KOA customer appreciation weekend, stay Friday get Saturday stay for free that I booked on line and had a paid receipt only to be told by the lady behind the desk that they were not offering that this weekend for some made up reason of hers, scam? So I and a few others that were checking in paid the extra for Saturday. Not too happy with what was going on. Later that evening a young male employee by the name of %$## knocked on the door apologizing with what went on and offered either a refund of one night or two nights for free for next summer, I accepted the refund which he dropped off the following afternoon. I found the staff overall very rude and not friendly at all except for Jake. The camp ground could be a very nice one if kept groomed and tree stumps removed that are all over the place. Pull through sites are too close together and uneven, having the next site fire pit about 5ft from our trailer. Fire wood is $6 for 5 pieces a bit of a rip. NO recycling that we could find and nowhere to dump our garbage (Dumpster), 3 Dump stations but the only one that was workable was the one in the middle the other two were about a 10-12 inches above the road. We camped at Flint / Holly KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

We have been to this park three times in as many years. This year, it is under new management, but other than the sign stating "New Management", it doesn't appear as if anything has changed really. The park has a ton of potential. They have a lot of kids activities, some included with your stay, some not. When we tried to upgrade the activities package for our kids, we couldn't get two employees to give us the same price. We were told $10 per kid when we checked in (we were tired from traveling and just wanted to get camp ready), then it became $20 per kid the next morning when we went up there to purchase it. We ended up not upgrading. The pool was closed the first day, but the employees ran a squirt gun wagon ride anytime a kid asked for it, so that was nice. Firewood was dry and delivered to your site. Sites were very unlevel, even for a premium site. Some sites were oddly placed, trees, fire pits, etc. Manager drove around continuously checking in and waving. A lot of young people in the office, never saw anyone over 25 that was a worker. This park needs some TLC and I think if the new management puts the work and money in, it could be a really nice park. We would return here, but it isn't a destination campground. Don't have high expectations of a KOA park, it is a campground that is dated and needs work. We camped at Flint / Holly KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Looks like this park is under new management. The wifi and cable TV were not very good. It appears that there a few full time residents in the park. There was a bit of noise from the Interstate but we've heard much worse. There's a gas station across the highway from the park with a well equipped store. We camped at Flint / Holly KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

This campground nowhere fits what I would deem to meet the criteria worthy of being called a KOA affiliate.

When I checked in I was not informed that the water for the bathhouses and laundry were not available due to the Dept of Health shutting them down. I did some research on reviews and found that the water had been shut off due to E Coli a month prior. Had this been disclosed, we would have gone somewhere else. I only discovered this when I went to do laundry. We were extremely nervous to drink the water or use the pool as a result. The main reason we chose KOA as we travel full time in the summer is to use laundry and bathhouse facilities.

The WiFi was not working at all- Not spotty, non-existent.

The sites were not only "un-level", they had HILLS in the center of the pull through which made it impossible to level. (Due to the water issue, many of the sites were not available).

The grass was covered in ragweed and there were piles of garbage in the vacant fire rings. The picnic table was falling apart.

I have never felt the need to research a KOA prior to stay, because they have consistently been acceptable. Some better than others, but certainly not a Dump like this place. I know better now to do some homework on all campgrounds now. Oddly, I did not get an email to review this campground like I have for others. This was the worst of any campground I've ever been to. We camped at Flint / Holly KOA in a Motorhome.

We can't recommend this CG to anyone. The interior roads are dirt, rutted & rough at best. The site assigned was barely long enough for our trailer but not the TV. We came with a reservation for full hookup pull thru for a 59' rig, but were assigned a site w/0 sewer and the water on the front right of the trailer. Not a place we'll stay again nor recommend to anyone! A Walmart parking lot would be better than tthis place. We camped at Flint / Holly KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Although this is a nice park with wide spaces, green, and kept, we checked in with almost no one here in May and they gave us the WORST spot! It was not level and we had to use a step ladder to get up to our bottom step after we leveled. You cannot count on their Wi-Fi: although it showed that we had it, it would not connect. When we notified the office of this issue, we were told that they would check with "someone" and see what they could do. We never heard from them again. Will not stay again. I try to keep my reviews limited to the facilities and not the other campers as a facility only has limited control over the guests, but total control over their facilities. This place is right off the freeway and in between parking places of other businesses. It is listed as having 150 sites but feels much, much smaller. We always note on our reservations that we have a 32' Class C and a toad. Usually this is acknowledged and the proper site given. Here we were given a site that would not have held a 25 foot motorhome, let alone what we have. Wife went back to the office and we were given another site that accommodated us for the night. Hookups are crazy. It looks like this was a CG at one time that had 75 decent sized spots and then someone decided to increase revenue and double up on the spots. There were splitters on all the hose bibs and you were either lucky and it was on the street side of your rig or you weren't and it was on the curb side of your rig. Ours was on the street side but still needed 2 hoses to reach. Our electric panel was considerably farther into the neighbor's site than it was not. Interesting lay out. The bathrooms were OK, but the showers were filthy. Chewing gum stuck on the walls and old wash rags laying in the changing areas that had been there a while. No excuse. I will always harp on the fact that on holiday weekends you need to double or triple up on your bathroom cleanings. We go to Mackinac every labor day, and we stop halfway through the trip. We will not stay here again. We camped at Flint / Holly KOA in a Motorhome.

This was an OK park even though we will not return. No beach, pool was not even open Memorial weekend. Sites are very close together. You could walk the entire campground in 5 minutes. Our pull-thru site was close to the fire pit and water shed. We could barely open our awning, and our patio mat could not fully extend out. They are pet friendly but very little space to walk your dog, we took our dogs to a relative's house the 2nd day. We camped at Flint / Holly KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Nightly rate reflects off season rates. We were in a full service site but the water had been shut off for the season and we used their restrooms & showers which were clean. The owner was extremely friendly & helpful. We make this an annual stop on our way to our winter destination. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Flint / Holly KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
