The park is very much family oriented. Lots of activities for the kids and adults. The garbage is only in the front of the park and does fill up fast. They were accommodating when power and water where down due to storms to compensate for the loss of services. We were able to receive mail and packages at the office. We camped at Hidden Ridge RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Huge park that seems new, with paved roads and large concrete sites. Good utilities including good wifi. Lots of green space. A good number of permanent sites but most are not cluttered. Drawbacks are roads are not named and you're not lead to your site, which is not easy due to the many turns. Also, only trash containers are near the entrance, which is a long walk from most of the sites. Store, showers and laundry are at top of hill which also a long walk for those with sites closer to the entrance.
In our site the utilities were at the front of the site which is a long reach for electric and water. We camped at Hidden Ridge RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We arrived late in the day but were received with concern about our travel and joy we made it before dark developed. While we were not escorted to our site it was quite easy to get to the proper spot. We stayed there three nights and were pleased with the cleanliness of the entire park. Obviously many folks were there for the seasonal parts of the summer/fall which allowed them to return after their work week. We arrived on a Friday and left on a Tuesday so we had no noise factor to interrupt our stay. We camped at Hidden Ridge RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

An awesome Resort. The rate was their "off season" rate minus GS. This place was prefect! All roads are paved...no dirt/mud anywhere. The only reason I rated it a 9 was the Wifi was spotty/inconsistent, and we were close to two repeaters. Wifi first thing in the morning is excellent. It is by a water feature and mosquitos early morning and after dark are fierce -not fault of park. We camped at Hidden Ridge RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Stayed 2 nights while visiting friends in Grand Rapids. This is a VERY nice park - but it sure was packed on a summer weekend! Lots of kids and golf carts. A lot of the sites appear to be seasonal and there are a few semi-permanent park models that are rented out, but everything was spotless. We had a large pull-through site what was plenty big enough for our 40' 5th wheel + Ram dually. Utility locations were a bit strange, but we got it all hooked up just fine. Utilities worked well. No trees in the park itself, so satellite access is good. Also good cable. Wifi was slow and unuseable as seems to be the norm in every park we have been in. Good security - gated access. There is a dog run/park, but it is quite a hike from where the sites are. We ended up driving when we took the dog. Nice park - we would stay again if in the area. We camped at Hidden Ridge RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

I'll keep it short since others have covered the bases pretty well. Gave this place a 9 because we were at the bottom of the hill...and ALL the ameneties are at the top of the hill...including bathrooms. Over 1/2 mile round trip....not fun. If I'd been near the top of the hill...it would be a perfect 10. I had NO internet problems. There are 2 pickleball courts lit till 11PM during the summer...facilities are spectacular.
Site was drive IN...back out. Hookups at front of drivers side of coach so you need to pull fully forward to reach with cordes/cable/hose. Sewer is in the right place!
Wonderful place...squeaky clean and maintained...just get a spot up the hill if you can! We camped at Hidden Ridge RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This park is very clean and well maintained and staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Check in was very efficient and easy. Park offers a Good Sam discount which was appreciated. Roads and sites were all paved and in very good condition. The adult "lodge" was a log building that complimented the style of the park and was set up with a fitness room, lounge and other recreational rooms that really did make you think you were in a lodge. The pool was very large and nicely appointed with deck chairs, chaise loungers, hot tub and nice pergola. Change rooms were very clean and abundant with outdoor showers. Camp store was well stocked and offered a food counter with pizza, burgers etc and ice cream. They also have an arcade, tennis courts, basketball, volleyball so lots for everyone to do. Overall this is a really nice campground and management does take care of it. My only reason for not rating it higher was the lack of shade on the sites (although the park is built around a forest), the park has no street lights (but you can see the stars really well) and its a bit of a drive to get anywhere, whether that's Grand Rapids or Kalamazoo. We camped at Hidden Ridge RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

If you like good food try Salvinos in Wayland. Over 2 days we ate there 3 times! Pizza, bugers, chicken, best bruschetta EVER, it was all good, the wait staff was good too (never wrote our orders down & got them right) and on our 2nd visit (same waitress) remembered our drink orders! She was busy but kept free refills coming. Will definitely be back.

This is a very nice clean grounds and plenty of room for your RV and concrete pads.

The biggest knock is the swimming pool - it's way too small for the number of guests, many of which are seasonal. Not only is it too small, but there is no control, in that kids are jumping in all over the place. I think it's only a matter of time before one of them gets hurt. Twice in two days they had to close the pool for the day because a kid got sick and threw up. They need an adult pool and leave the existing one as a kids pool since it is so shallow. This opinion is shared by most of the adults that use the pool, not just me.

We would definitely come back but only if they add another pool. We camped at Hidden Ridge RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Great place to spend a night, week, month, or the entire season. Large roomy sites with green grass and concrete pads. All interior roads are paved. Everyone is very friendly. Facilities are excellent. Easy access to Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo and an easy drive to the Lake Michigan lakeshore. Only two cons are there is some pretty constant freeway noise if you are near the front and the Wi-Fi tends to go out at least one a week. We camped at Hidden Ridge RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Entry is gated. Roads are all paved with cement pads. Upper loop nearest pool & snack bar are seasonals. Lower loop primarily transients. 4 or 5 cabins. Huge well equipped club house that is really an expensive lodge. Beautiful pool with full service real snackbar. Beautiful grass everywhere. Large fenced dog run at top of the hill. Staff efficient but not particularly helpful. Golf carts for rent. We camped at Hidden Ridge RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

If coming in from south on US131, take the exit by the casino, go left, and take the first left and go straight (not back on the ramp to Kalamazoo). From the north take exit 59 and careful with coming off. Again to straight and not on ramp. Entry on right. 30 minutes from Kalamazoo. 30 minutes to Grand Rapids and Ford Presidential Museum, Frank Lloyd Wright 'May House' and Art Walk (September). Outlet mall 10 mins north. Wayland has fuel and supermarket.

We spent two nights at Hidden Ridge with our 10 year old grandsons and they loved every minute. The pool, the fishing, the playground and arcade kept them well entertained. The person who made our reservation and checked us in, was helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. We definitely will return to Hidden Ridge. We camped at Hidden Ridge RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This Sun RV Resort is impeccable. All roads are nicely paved, and each site and patio is concrete and has a cement fire ring. There is well cared for lawn space between each site, and many of the sites are on the two small lakes or have water views. There is a lot of lush, grassy areas, a very large dog run, and doggy "stations" throughout the resort. The pool and hot tub are sparkling clean, as are the modern bathrooms and spotless laundry facilities. Showers each have locking doors. Tennis, basketball, pickleball and shuffleboard courts are in excellent shape. Boats for rent (no motors) and fishing is free (catch/release). Some seasonal residents; several cabins available for short-term rent. Since our last visit, they've added a pavilion with an under-roof fireplace; also a large arcade. The children's play area is very nice. A beautiful lodge (once a private home) houses a media lounge, pool table and exercise room. Golf carts available for rent. We have stayed here 5-6 years in a row and continue to return. This resort is a GEM! We camped at Hidden Ridge RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

This resort is located between Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo, right off Hwy. 131. The closest grocery store is Harding's Market in Otsego. If you are a beer enthusiast, be sure to go to Kalamazoo's Arcadia Ales and plan to dine there. The menu changes daily; most of it is farm-to-table and the workers are trained in the pairing of beers/food. A fun spot on the Kalamazoo River, with an outdoor area inviting to kayakers. Dog & kid friendly. Convenient to K.College and Western Michigan Univ.
