Nice little park on a lake. Sites are gravel with grass and a picnic table. Hookups were located slightly far from where you would normally park but we made it work. We camped here in a 40' MH - site was plenty long enough for MH & tow. We arrived the Sunday of Labor Day and did not know if we would have kids running all over, but park was quiet (thankfully). Staff was very pleasant. No cable TV but got numerous OTA channels. We camped at Hideaway RV Park in a Motorhome.

Just stayed overnite at this small park en route elsewhere but we were glad we did. Sited on a small lake this looks to be mostly a seasonal place with lake swimming. The did everything we cared about right from laundry to restrooms to wifi to a nice site. Excellent value. We camped at Hideaway RV Park in a Motorhome.

Pleasant check-in experience. Site was close to neighbors but did have room to extend awning. Dirt road in front and rear of sites so expect dust during dry weather. We camped at Hideaway RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very well maintained and friendly people - both management and campers. We have a 42' fifth wheel (20K lbs) and they have sites long enough for our rig and truck to fit nicely. There is a small lake in the center of this park with seasonal residence sites spaced nicely throughout the park (around the lake, lake view, and other choices). Longer rvs and short visit stays are usually on pull though sites that also enjoy a lake view but are facing (although offset by patio spacing). Trees between the pull through sites can interfere with awnings but were not a problem for our roof mounted satellite. We have stayed here several times and this layout has not bothered us. There are walking trails and the park is very dog friendly. We like to stay here when visiting family in the area. We camped at Hideaway RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Cascades park in Jackson has a colorful water falls with dancing waters and concessions. And, don't forget to try one of the signature coney island hot dogs at Virginia Lunch (originator location) or Jackson Coney Island.

We stayed for a week-had the weekly rate. Our pull through site was very long. Our 45 ft coach and Jeep Wrangler fit with space in front for another full size car! The camp site we had was a 'buddy' site. Your rig door opens to your neighbor's rig door. Our site was separated enough that it didn't feel too odd. Plus our neighbors were very nice. There were some short hiking trails. Lots of 'seasonal' rigs that were very well cared for and nice landscaping. There is quite a bit of expressway noise. We camped at Hideaway RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Visit the little town of Chelsea-great restaurants, Jets Pizza, Chelsea Alehouse, 52 BBQ and shops downtown on Main Street. Jiffy Mix offers tours. We traveled to Dexter and rode our bikes on the Border to Border bike path. It starts in town and goes out to the Metropark called Hudson Mills. Follows along the Huron River. Very nice. You can also kayak/canoe the river. We also visited Ann Arbor!

Nice park, very friendly owners, easy access from highway and very quiet. Utilities worked well. No cable but a number of channels on the batwing. Older but clean bath/shower facilities. WiFi is quite slow and didn't always work. Gravel roads and pads in good condition even with recent rains and sites have concrete patios. Most of the campers are long term spending the summer there and they were friendly and sites were clean. They only have 50 amp connections but have a 30 amp pigtail to borrow if needed. Nice walking trail through the woods and a small fishing lake with paddle boats. We camped at Hideaway RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Close to I-94, but a quiet spot with a lovely pond for fishing and paddle boats (free usage). Only one washer and one dryer (in office). We camped at Hideaway RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Jackson is the nearest town and offers most of what you'd need, and Ann Arbor is a 25 minute drive with all amenities.

Lovely park. Friendly and accommodating staff. Best campground in Jackson area (we checked them all out). Nice swimming area; use of paddle boats at no charge. We camped at Hideaway RV Park in a Motorhome.

Easy off/on I-94; some road noise by not objectionable. This park is actually in the Grass Lake area, but very close to Jackson. Park roads paved, sites are hard packed gravel. This is a smaller clean park with mostly seasonal residents, and very friendly office staff. There are several very long pull-through sites that could accommodate just about anything and are all very level. Most sites satellite friendly, good Verizon and AT&T service. Not a fancy park, but a nice, clean place to stop for a night or longer when in the Jackson, MI area. We camped at Hideaway RV Park in a Motorhome.

A nice quiet park. A little hum from the nearby freeway, but the trees buffer the noise fairly well. Lots of open space to play and walk pets. It's been a bad year for mosquitos this year in MI, so I can't entirely fault the park, but it is surrounded by woods and there is a lake in the center, and thus they were bad for this trip. The seasonals raved about this place. Recommended. We camped at Hideaway RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is one of our favorite camp sites. Management respects everyone that respects the park. You can't drive through with getting a dozen hand waves. Quite, clean and very well maintained with new hook-ups and a community effort from seasonals to make the park a very pleasant place to stay. No tents allowed. If you object, there are a lot of rowdy campgrounds nearby that do allow tents. We camped at Hideaway RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park is a great place for family. I had a great time here and the manager was helpful. I'll never have to look for a park when I camp in Jackson. It was clean and the lawn looked great. This Hideaway is a quiet place to relax and sit around a camp fire. I'll definitely return. We camped at Hideaway RV Park in a Motorhome.
